He previously revealed that the baby was due in December 2024, but his son came along a little early and was born on November 19.
Confirming his son’s birth, as well as his name, Bradley wrote: “Albie Jake Johnson. You are absolutely everything.” A photo of Albie was included alongside a snap of a wooden plaque revealing Albie’s weight – 6lbs 13oz.
Fans and co-stars congratulated the star, with on screen mum Lisa Riley, who plays Mandy Dingle, writing: “You know how proud me and Al are of you and Sammie – we love you loads… CONGRATULATIONS… we are available for baby sitting whenever, sending the biggest amount of love.”
Following on from the birth, Bradley returned to Instagram and recorded a video, where he asked for advice over the sleepless nights. He joked, “4 o’clock? Got work tomorrow. Gonna need a lot of make-up on these eyes.”
Bradley uploaded a picture from the Emmerdale set to Instagram yesterday (Monday, December 10), which showed him sitting on the sofa of Wishing Well Cottage while holding baby Albie.
The caption read: “Take your baby to work day! Albie got to see the famous Dingle set #emmerdale #itv #dingles #baby #takeyourbabytoworkday.”
Fans and co-stars loved the picture. Lisa Riley wrote: “My heart is actually melting.” Ash Palmisciano, who plays Matty Barton, added three emojis with love heart eyes. While fans couldn’t get over how “cute” and “adorable” Albie was.
Wishing Well Cottage has seen a lot of drama for the Dingles over the years. For Vinny, that’s the place where he recently discovered Tina Dingle is his birth mother.

Although Moira feels anxious that she hasn’t heard from Cain all night, she’s sure he’ll be home for her test results. She sends Matty home and delays her appointment.

2. Cain is arrested
Having lied to Moira about his whereabouts due to his guilt, Cain tries to get back to Moira in his van. But he is blocked from leaving by Jai’s awkwardly parked car.
Fuelled by a desperate voicemail from Moira, Cain tries to get a move on, but is stopped by Swirling. His agitated state and aggressive approach leads to an arrest – brilliant timing, Cain!
Deflated, Cain tries to appeal to Swirling’s better nature and asks for the chance to have one private conversation with Moira on the phone.
The request is granted. Moira remains composed but she feels gutted at Cain’s callousness and is aghast to hear what he has done. However, she shares the news that her results were clear. But later, she admits to a heartbroken Matty that she’ll need radiotherapy and they cry together.
But Ruby isn’t impressed by her dad’s actions. Defending Caleb and her own decision to move on from the affair, Ruby is left unsettled by unconvinced Anthony’s persistent questioning.

In Emmerdale tonight, Ross continued to get on the wrong side of everybody and discovered that son Moses is scared of him.
Meanwhile, Anthony found out about son-in-law Caleb’s past affair with Tracy and wasn’t best pleased.
Here’s what happened in Emmerdale tonight (Monday, December 9.)
Caleb had been plotting with Charity and Marlon (Credit: ITV)
Caleb’s plan went wrong
Ross was on operation wind up Caleb duty again in tonight’s episode. As Ruby and Caleb sat eating breaking, Ross strolled down stairs and asked about coffee. “Can no wake up without my coffee,” he said.
When Caleb asked why he was there, Ross responded, “Oh did Steph not tell you about our sleepover?†He then stripped off the dressing after Caleb pointed out that it was his. And let’s be honest, the only one complaining was Caleb…
Later, Ross received a message from Jade wanting her £3,000. Jai told Ross that he and Caleb were going to a meeting and Steph was taking the other staff on a team building trip, the the depot would be empty – and there was £20k in the safe that Ross could help himself to.
Jai met with Caleb and told him that Ross had taken the bait. Caleb then proceeded to tell Marlon and Charity, who equally detest Ross, of his plan, and added that Ross thinks the CCTV is down, but it’s not.
Caleb’s plan was to catch Ross stealing the money, then use the footage to drive him out of the village, but would it be that simple? Well, no, because Ross wasn’t born yesterday.
When Caleb logged into the CCTV, he was greeted with a sign in the depot which read “nice try idiots.†Ross then walked in and said: “As if I was going to fall for a sting like that? Who puts 20 grand in a safe and brags about it.”
To rub salt into Caleb’s wounds, Ross informed him that he had disabled most of the CCTV himself and one of his vans might be missing…

Emmerdale tonight: Moses told his dad to go away
After Moses witnessed Ross’s attack on Mack, Ross decided to go see his son and make amends. However, he was about as welcome as root canal treatment.
Charity and Mack didn’t want Ross there and even Moses told him to “go away.†Ross attempted to apologise to his son, but Moses was visibly scared.
Ross told Moses he would never hurt him, with Mack quipping: “Other than that time you nearly fired a shotgun at him.” Moses then told his dad he was a bully and run off, leaving Ross feeling defeated.
Brenda filled Anthony in (Credit: ITV)
Anthony discovered Caleb’s affair
Ruby’s dad Anthony seemed to spend the episode going from business to business and not doing much at all, but he didn’t manage to find out about Caleb’s affair with Tracy.
In David’s shop, Anthony overheard Tracy on the phone trying to arrange childcare. When Anthony enquired about her stress, she admitted that Frankie’s dad had run off to Shetland leaving her a single mum.
Anthony felt sorry for Tracy, though he was confused when his daughter Ruby came in and was immediately rude to Tracy.
Later, Anthony changed his hang out place of choice to the cafe. And as luck might have it, Tracy was there. After she left, it gave Anthony the opportunity to mention to Brenda that it must be hard being a single mother. Brenda was quick to respond that it was her own fault for playing away with Caleb.
When it became clear that this was new information to Anthony, Brenda quickly regretted opening her mouth. But time travel hasn’t been invented yet, so there’s no getting out of this one. What will Anthony do with this information?

Moira planned a party as Cain felt guilty
Cain continued to do everything in order to avoid spending time with Moira. Moira believed it was because he was being a helpful husband and doing all the jobs so she can rest. But really, Cain is being eaten up by guilt.
When Moira sings Cain’s praises, Matty responded: “He’s putting you first, mum. Not all husbands would do that.” If only they knew…
Later, Caleb and Ruby arrived with flowers and chocolate for Moira. Cain couldn’t get out of there fast enough, and invented a story about needing to go to Dudley for a car.
When Matty returned, Moira was listening to the song Somewhere In My Heart at full volume. After she turned it down, she told Matty: “This song is very special to me and Cain.” She then told Matty that she wanted to surprise Cain with a party to thank him for all his support.
Meanwhile, Cain was shown parked up in his van, with the same song playing on the radio (Cute!). Still feeling guilty, he sent Moira a message to say he would be stuck in Dudley overnight. Will Cain end up admitting the truth?
Brenda put Jimmy in his place and had us giggling when she told him: “Typical Jimmy, washing your hands of a difficult decision.†Because let’s be honest, Jimmy probably has splinters from all those fences he sits on.
Speaking of Jimmy, Angel spoke to him about Tom, telling him Tom was all alone and Jimmy should go see to him.

A new Emmerdale fan theory has suggested that Ruby Fox-Miligan and her daughter Steph could both find themselves pregnant at the same time.
Ruby and Steph were recently reunited after 10 years without seeing one another. Following the death of Ruby’s estranged mother, Steph arrived in the Dales to claim her inheritance.
The atmosphere between mother and daughter was originally frosty, but they appear to be getting their relationship back on track. Though fans have now predicted a bump in the road, or rather, two bumps in the road…

Ruby and Steph’s relationship
Steph Miligan arrived in Emmerdale last month. She hadn’t seen her parents in 10 years, so it was no surprise that things were hostile when Steph and Ruby came face-to-face for the first time.
Steph felt that her mother abandoned her and shipped her off to boarding school because she couldn’t be bothered. A conversation about Steph’s childhood resulted in the two women arguing, culminating in Ruby slapping her daughter.
The two women have reconciled somewhat and are working through their issues. Though this hasn’t been helped by the arrival of Ruby’s estranged dad Anthony, who shared a cancer diagnosis with his family.
Fans have been speculating that the two women could fall pregnant at the same time. After a fan on Reddit asked: “Who thinks Steph is gonna get preggers with her and Ross’s baby?” another fan suggested that Ruby will also be pregnant and “Caleb will realise the morning-after pill packaging he found in the trash was not Steph’s.”
A third fan went one step further and suggested Ross could be the father of both babies, writing: “I think he’ll have both Ruby and Steph up the duff at the same time.” The poster expanded on their theory and wrote: “I mean he was in love with Debbie around the same time her mum gave birth to his son, Moses!! Don’t get why Debbie didn’t get pregnant as well!! Would have been a bigger thing then!!”

Emmerdale star Mark Charnock has taken on a new role and has shared the personal story behind his directing debut.
Mark, who has played Marlon Dingle in Emmerdale since 1996, appeared on Good Morning Britain today (Tuesday, December 3) to discuss his directorial debut.
The actor has stepped behind the camera to direct a heart-tugging film entitled ‘Life Long Fans.’ The short film accompanies GMB’s 1 Million Minutes initiative, which aims to combat loneliness. The idea is for viewers to pledge their time to charities that tackle the issues of loneliness.
Mark said he was honoured to be asked and revealed that he also has a personal link to the project.

Emmerdale star Mark Charnock’s directing debut
The actor appeared on Good Morning Britain, where he spoke to Susanna Reid and Ed Balls about turning his hand to directing.
The project is in partnership with GMB’s 1 Million Minutes initiative. Mark’s accompanying emotional short features clips of two friends going to watch football together through the years. Once they reach old age, one of the friends passes away, while the other friend is shown at the football looking sad with an empty seat next to him.
That fan is left feeling isolated and lonely and no longer enjoys watching the football without his mate beside him. But the video ends on a hopeful note when the man’s wife arranges for his family to join him in watching the football.
Susanna and Ed described the film as ‘moving,’ while Mark admitted it was an ‘amazing experience.’

Mark Charnock’s personal link
The Marlon star revealed that when he was asked to come up with the story for the film, he had to rack his brains, but then inspiration came to him.
“Something so close to home, I almost missed it,” he said. He then shared his story, revealing: “I had two uncles, both of whom have passed away now. John and Michael. They were quite close in age and were like twins really. They did everything together and been going and watching Man United since the late 50s and all through the decades…
“Then quite out of the blue, the older brother passed away. And it broke my other uncle in half really. He lost half of himself. You know, he was OK, the years went by until he passed away, but those last 10/15 years he had without him, he was never really the same.”
He added: “Football gets a bad rap, but at its heart it’s a working class sport that brought people together.”
Emmerdale star Harvey Rogerson has been winning over fans with his cooking skills.
The actor, who has played Leo Goskirk in the soap for 10 years, was pictured on Instagram and X having some fun in the kitchen. Standing over an omelette, the caption shared that he was developing his independence skills.

Over on Harvey’s X and Instagram pages, a picture was shared showing the actor with a frying pan. The pan contained a tasty looking omelette.
In addition, the caption on the snap read: “Loves a bit of Spanish omelette for breakfast … Harvey loves to cook and he is actually really developing his independence skills … he makes fantastic scrambled eggs and the best brew in the house! Happy Tuesday everyone!”
Meanwhile, fans praised Harvey on his efforts, with one writing: “Well done Harvey, that looks delicious.” Another fan said: “Amazing Harvey, look at that omelette, looks fab, enjoy your breakfast and have a luvly day,” while another added: “Well done Harvey, that looks really yummy.”
Harvey is the third actor to play the part of Leo Goskirk. He took on the role of Leo under sad circumstances. Previous star Harry Whittaker sadly died aged three, in 2014.
Leo is the son of Marlon Dingle and Rhona Goskirk and half brother of April Windsor. During her pregnancy, Rhona was informed that the baby had Down syndrome. However, she, Marlon and her new partner Paddy Kirk decided to raise the child together.
Rhona and Marlon eventually reunited, but Paddy remained a father figure in Leo’s life. Other storylines have seen Leo hit his sister April, be bullied at school and act as best man at his mum’s wedding.
Having been born in May 2011, Leo is now 13 and has become a fan favourite on the ITV soap.

The past couple of months have also seen Ruby deal with being reunited with her estranged family. After Ruby’s mum Helen died, daughter Steph turned up, who hadn’t seen her parents in over 10 years. It was a tough reunion, though mother and daughter appear to be working through their issues.
Ruby’s dad Anthony then arrived to a hostile reception from his daughter – who he hadn’t seen in 30 years.
Anthony announced that he had prostate cancer, but Ruby is still apprehensive about getting to know him. An upcoming flashback episode will reveal what happened to Ruby during her teenage years – and might go some way to explaining why she feels the need to drink.
Fans have noticed that Ruby often has a drink in her hand (Credit: ITV)
Does Ruby have a drink problem?
Fans have noticed that whenever Ruby is stressed – which is a lot – she reaches for the alcohol. And lately, she never seems to be without a glass of wine.
Taking to X, one fan wrote: “Ruby drinks all day. Ruby gets out of bed and open a bottle of wine.” Another fan joked: “I want to live with Ruby. Wine on tap.”
A third viewer said: “Jeez, does all Ruby do all day every day is drink and not do any hard graft?!” While another said at the start of a recent episode: “Hoorahhh Ruby has already opened a bottle.”
Others believe a drink problem is on the cards for Ruby, with one viewer saying: “Is Ruby an alcoholic? She’s always drinking?”Â
Could they be right and will Emmerdale explore a drink problem for Ruby?
