Dylan was rushed to hospital after drug overdose
After meeting on the streets, April Windsor invited Dylan to come stay in Emmerdale last week – much to the frustration of Marlon.
Marlon, Rhona and Ross have been concerned about the effect Dylan might have on April and have been eager for him to leave the village. In tonight’s Emmerdale, Marlon took matters into his own hands.
While in the vets, Rhona told Marlon that some Ketamine had gone missing. They immediately suspected Dylan and went to confront him.
Dylan insisted he’d not taken the drugs, but when the trio forced him to empty his pockets, the missing Ketamine was found. He continued to plead his innocence, but when even April wouldn’t back him up, he grabbed his stuff and left.
Later on, Marlon admitted to Rhona that it had actually been him who stole the Ketamine in order to set Dylan up and get him out of April’s life. It proved to be a costly mistake.
Soon after, Ross called Marlon to tell him he’d seen Dylan being out in the back of an ambulance after overdosing on ‘spice.’ Marlon and Rhona rushed to the hospital, where Marlon admitted to feeling guilty for what he’d done to Dylan.

Will Dylan die in Emmerdale?
Things looked bleak for Dylan at the end of Monday’s episode, but, thankfully, spoilers for this week reveal that Dylan does wake up.
Coming up this week, Marlon struggles with his guilt and wants to tell April the truth about the Ketamine. Rhona implores him not to. However, when Dylan wakes, Marlon does confess the truth to him.
Marlon explains to Dylan that he regrets his actions and only had his concern for April on his mind. Marlon also offers to pay for Dylan to go to rehab.
Dylan then surprises Marlon by telling him not to upset April by telling her the truth. But later on he asks Marlon if he can see April before going to rehab as he wants to tell her something. Has he had a change of heart about keeping Marlon’s secret, and will he get the help he needs?

It was an emotional episode of Emmerdale on Thursday March 6, as Amy and Leyla’s funerals took place following their tragic deaths in the limo crash last month.
With both funerals taking place at the exact same time (who planned that?!) the villagers had to pick which one to attend. This affected Eric Pollard the most, who said both Amy and Leyla were like daughters to him, but he had to go to Leyla’s funeral in order to be there for grandson Jacob.
Leyla’s voice could be heard throughout the episode and it seems she took several secrets to the grave…
Here’s everything that happened in Emmerdale last night (Thursday, March 6).

The villagers said goodbye to Leyla
Having planned her own funeral during the height of her addiction, Leyla’s coffin was carried by six hunky pallbearers to the sound of She’s A Lady. Some of the villagers wrongly assumed they’d been hired, but Belle quickly pointed out they were actually “friends” of Leyla’s. Oh-er!
Leyla’s voice was heard saying, “Now that is what I call a Madonna moment. Lifted in the air by six hunks. Granted, I would have preferred it without the coffin, but a girl can’t always have everything.”
Liam read a letter from Leyla, which she had written from a hospital bed while addicted to drugs. She said she hoped he’d never have to read the letter, that hopefully she’d quit that ‘poison’. “But obviously if you’re reading this, that hasn’t happened. I failed. I messed up time and time again,” she said.
Leyla’s voice took over from Liam’s as she praised her son Jacob: “You’re kind and patient. Always there whenever I needed you, parenting me, when it should have been the other way round. Being your mother is a privilege. You have been a privilege.”
At the graveside, Jacob echoed his mum’s word, saying: “You weren’t always the greatest mum, but what you were was my best friend.”
It was a tough day for Victoria and Matty (Credit: ITV)
Amy’s funeral took place
While Leyla’s funeral was fairly traditional, Amy’s funeral was an outside affair. Matty spoke about Amy in the present tense and explained that Amy loves nature.
“I’m talking like Amy is still here. That’s because she is. She’s my soulmate,” he said. Sob! Victoria also spoke about Amy, telling the congregation that Amy was like a sister to her.
Despite it being her daughter’s funeral, Kerry managed to keep it together and took over from Matty when he broke down during the reading.
Cain, Mack, Vinny and Matty carried the coffin as Angels by Robbie Williams played. Maybe Amy would have preferred Leyla’s pallbearers?

Tracy’s secret was revealed in Emmerdale Thursday March 6
At the wake in the Woolpack, Eric thanked Tracy Robinson for being a big help and getting him through the day. With guilt written all over her face, it was clear she was hiding something.
We soon became aware of exactly what… A flashback showed Leyla in the shop buying a bottle of fizz. As she handed Tracy the money, Tracy told her she had lipstick on her teeth.
Leyla turned around and checked her face in a mirror. In the mirror, she could see what was going on behind her and spotted Tracy putting the £20 she’d just given her in her bra rather than in the till.
Tracy told a shocked Leyla that she is broke because Nate has disappeared and pays no maintenance. Leyla told Tracy to put the money in the till and gave her another £20. Although grateful, Tracy admitted it wouldn’t touch the surface as she has probably stolen about 2 grand altogether. Will Eric ever discover the truth?
Mary lied to Vanessa (Credit: ITV)
Mary also has a secret
Continuing to be a rock for Vanessa, privately Mary has been harbouring a secret. As Leyla’s voice spoke the words “It’s not fair how one little mistake can destroy something forever,” another flashback showed Mary and Suzy on the day of the limo crash.
Suzy told Mary she needs to realise how special she is, telling her she is “Funny, wise and gorgeous”. Suzy then shocked Mary by revealing she wasn’t just being kind, it’s how she truly feels.
Suzy admitted that she loved Vanessa, but said “that love… it’s not like what I feel for you”. Leyla then walked in on the two kissing.
In the present day, Vanessa told Mary that she had been planning on proposing to Suzy. Vanessa asked Mary if she thought Suzy would have said yes. Mary lied and said that Vanessa was the one for Suzy. Is this another secret that Leyla has taken to the grave?

Cain and Matty fought and made up in Emmerdale Thursday March 6
Still angry at Cain for cheating on his mum, Matty continued to snipe at Cain all day. At the Wake, things came to a head and Matty lashed out at Cain, telling him Amy would be turning in her grave.
The two men moved to the toilets where Cain invited Matty to punch him, but said they had to stop the public animosity in front of Kyle.
Cain went on to say that Matty wouldn’t be allowed to see Kyle if he was in that state. Matty was horrified as he believes Kyle is his only link left to Amy.
The two men soon came to an understanding when Cain said he isn’t the enemy and he visibly moved Matty when he said: “As far as I’m concerned, you are my son.” Matty was later seen bonding with Kyle, as he shared a smile with Cain.

Elsewhere in Emmerdale Thursday March 6
Leyla was a busy lady on the day of the limo crash. On top of discovering Tracy and Mary’s secrets, another flashback showed that she also walked in on Manpreet looking at something on her laptop.
Although we didn’t see the screen, a shocked Leyla exclaimed: “Is that you?” before Manpreet quickly shut the computer. In the present day, Manpreet received a text message from an unknown number claiming to know her dirty secret. Just what is Manpreet hiding?
Meanwhile, Sarah did a pregnancy test and it came back positive. But with the funeral going on, she didn’t get a chance to talk to Jacob about it.

Ross and Marlon aren’t fans of Dylan
Dylan arrived in the village this week after being invited by April Windsor. Upon his arrival, Ross promptly wrestled him to the ground.
Meanwhile, Marlon wasn’t thrilled to see Dylan either, but decided to let him stay to appease his daughter.
On Friday March 7, Marlon and Ross are on the same side as they worry about Dylan’s influence on April.

Before the funerals in Thursday’s episode, Sarah Sugden did a pregnancy test.
It was later revealed that the test was positive. However, she was unable to talk to Jacob about the situation as he was understandably busy with his mum’s funeral.
But in Emmerdale on Friday March 7, Charity manages to coax a confession from Sarah. What will Sarah do next?

With his health in decline, could an Emmerdale exit be imminent?
Pollard opened his fortune cookie from Leyla (Credit: ITV)
Leyla sends Pollard a message from the grave
Whilst in the midst of a drug addiction years ago, Leyla Harding feared she might die, so she wrote letters and planned her funeral.
Although her death came about as a result of a limo crash rather than drugs, the funeral plans were still used.
It was an especially emotional day for Pollard, who saw Leyla and fellow victim Amy as daughters. He shared with Tracy that he felt guilty for still being alive.
“Incredible, isn’t it? Doddery old fella like me past his threescore and ten, and I’m burying two bright, vibrant young people. I shall never understand this life,” he said.
At the wake, it was revealed that Leyla really had gone to town on the planning and many of the guests received their own fortune cookie containing personalised messages.Â
Pollard opened his fortune cookie to reveal the message: “See you soon.” He jokingly responded, “cheek!”
Pollard has struggled since his diagnosis (Credit: ITV)
Did Emmerdale hint at Pollard’s death?
Viewers know that back in 2023, Pollard was diagnosed with Parkinson’s after experiencing numbness and tingling.
Since then, the story has been revisited on various occasions, with producer Laura Shaw explaining: “The unique position of a show like Emmerdale means we can tell this story really authentically over a long period of time and we can really shine a light on what a diagnosis like this means and follow Pollard on his journey of learning to live with it.”
Scenes towards the end of last year had fans concerned that the end was near for Emmerdale’s longest serving character after there was a shortage in the medication Pollard needed.
He lived to fight another day, but now with Leyla’s message, should we be concerned that Emmerdale is setting us up once again to say goodbye to Eric Pollard?

April’s friend from the streets, Dylan, is currently staying in Emmerdale and fans have predicted that he will be a new love interest for Arthur.
April Windsor met Dylan when she run away from home over Christmas, and stayed with him in a derelict house, which doubled up as a squat.
Dylan is now staying with April and her family, but could he settle in the village and find love? Fans think so.

Dylan in Emmerdale
We first saw Dylan during the special episode last month, which detailed April’s time on the streets. Dylan rescued April from the clutches of a pervert and allowed her to stay with him in a derelict house.
Despite being safely back home for a few weeks now, April has still been struggling to adjust. Earlier this week she went back to the squat to catch up with Dylan.
Dylan was in a bad way, but insisted April go back home to her family. However, April invited Dylan to Emmerdale and the following day he turned up.
After being wrestled to the ground by Ross, who was certain Dylan was on something, April invited him in. She also managed to convince her dad to let him stay for the night.
Yesterday’s episode saw the one night extended to a few after Marlon felt guilty for wrongly accusing Dylan of theft.
But could Dylan’s stay be even more permanent than that?
Could Arthur be a love interest for Dylan? (Credit: ITV)
Dylan and Arthur to get together in Emmerdale?
Arthur Thomas has been fairly absent on screen of late, but fans are predicting that he could have a new story coming up.
One fan wrote on X: “So April is avoiding Arthur… I reckon Arthur forms a crush on Dylan, April gets mad and tells Arthur about the baby and the weird twist about him being the father.”
Another fan suggested Dylan could move into Laurel’s B&B if he needs somewhere to stay, with a third fan questioning: “Is that still standing? A new romance for Arthur then with Dylan?”
Arthur previously had a brief romance with classmate Marshall, who originally struggled to accept his sexuality. Last year, after a long stay in Australia, Arthur went on a date with newcomer Lewis, but it came to nothing. Could Dylan be the start of a new chapter for Arthur in Emmerdale?

In tonight’s episode of Emmerdale (Monday, March 3), Moira Dingle told husband Cain to move out of the house, but is it really over for the couple?
Last year, while Moira was undergoing an operation to remove a brain tumour, Cain took comfort in sister-in-law Ruby and they slept together.
The truth about the fling was revealed last month. While Caleb and Ruby have managed to move on, it’s been more of a struggle for Cain and Moira. Will they be able to get through it?

Moira tells Cain it’s over
In tonight’s episode of Emmerdale, Mack was ill, leaving Moira to rely on Cain Dingle to take her to her hospital appointment.
While waiting at the hospital, Cain tried to talk to Moira again and insisted he wouldn’t stop trying to win her back.
Moira sadly told Cain: “The part I can’t get past is you made me hate myself, hate my body for not working. And look at me now. I’m dependent on the man who betrayed me when I needed him the most.”
Cain insisted they could fix it, telling her: “It’s us.” Moira promptly said: “Not any more, Cain.”
As Cain pleaded with Moira and told her he’d do anything, Moira informed him she wanted him to move out because ‘it’s over.’
Cain was of course desperate for this not to be the case, and while Moira said she knew he was sorry and that he loved her, she also said that sometimes love just isn’t enough.
Back home, Cain begged Moira to ask him to stay. She couldn’t do that and took herself to the bedroom, where she broke down in tears on the bed.
The couple have had their ups and downs (Credit: ITV)
The pair share so much history and fans have taken them to their hearts, so it would be a massive decision to split them up, not to mention an incredibly unpopular one.
But there is good news for fans. Previously speaking at a press event, Natalie J Robb, who plays Moira, hinted that the long-term future for Cain and Moira looks promising.
“I think it is really important that they stay together,” she said. “Marriages go through things. There is temptation. There are things that can happen. If everybody just gave up after the first hurdle of marriage, people would just not get married now. It’s so easy to get out now.”
Natalie continued: “A lot of people do go through things. Affairs, different things, financial problems. There could be lots of things that happen that pull you apart. But then things can push you together again. Which I think is nice to play.”

In Emmerdale tonight, Marlon Dingle followed April back to the squat she stayed in when she was homeless and came face-to-face with Dylan.
Elsewhere, Dawn developed a guilty conscience after her and Joe were almost caught by Billy.

What happened in Emmerdale tonight: April went to visit Dylan
April Windsor was annoyed to discover her dad had slept on the sofa in order to keep guard incase she ran away again. She encouraged Marlon to trust her and informed him she was going to school.
However, he didn’t take her advice and instead decided to follow her.
Arriving at the derelict squat where she’d stayed in with Dylan during her time on the streets, April found her friend Dylan and told him about her baby dying.
Marlon soon interrupted the moment, and jumping to the wrong conclusion, he threw an already hurt Dylan against the wall.
April explained that she had met Dylan on the streets, telling her dad: “Him and Becca are the only reason I survived on the streets, the only people who cared.”
April went on to tell Marlon that her life didn’t stop when she was homeless. “Things happened. I made friends, and I saw things. I can’t just forget it all. It’s gonna be part of my life forever.”
Seeing Marlon’s despair, Dylan told April she should go home with her dad as he’ll keep her safe. Dylan pretended he was fine, despite clearly being in pain.Â
April took Dylan’s advice, but later told her dad to stop lying, stop following her and just let her be. Will he be able to trust her?Â
Joe’s mystery doctor made another appearance (Credit: ITV)
The Joe mystery continued
Joe’s mysterious doctor made another appearance as he told Joe to be careful with Dawn as his body can’t take too much overexertion.
The doctor told Joe to focus on his health as ‘women are a distraction’ and added: “This trip for your treatment couldn’t come soon enough.”
He quickly left when he heard footsteps. Joe later shared that he was off to Dubai for at least two weeks for business, but what is he really going there for, and will he die?
Dawn started to feel guilty over her affair with Joe (Credit: ITV)
Dawn developed a guilty conscience
As has been the case so far, Dawn continued making the moves on Joe. Thinking they had the house to themselves the pair started kissing passionately.
But they were soon shaken when they heard her husband Billy arrive home. Joe managed to deter Billy with the actual truth – telling him to scarper as he had a girl over. Billy joked: “Tell her she can do so much better,” obviously not realising he was talking about his actual wife.
Dawn immediately felt guilty, and later when talking to Kim, she admitted that she was scared about Billy finding out as it would break his heart.
In a spit your tea out moment, Dawn said she didn’t think her marriage would survive son Evan being so ill, ‘but we’re making it work.’ Kim immediately said what we all thought: “How is having an affair making it work?”
Dawn explained that it helps her cope. Yes, we’re sure the therapist would recommend an affair as a coping mechanism too…
Later, Dawn and Billy shared a moment in the kitchen while she was cooking dinner, so perhaps she really does want her marriage to work.
Jacob was angry at his family for missing Leyla’s funeral (Credit: ITV)
What happened in Emmerdale tonight: Jacob got angry at David and Alicia
As is the case, with every soap wedding or funeral, there is always the question of whether family members will return for the occasion.
For Leyla’s funeral, that will be a firm no. Jacob was shown on the phone to David, before he told Sarah: “Alicia’s blaming her broken leg, and dad’s using Theo’s illness as an excuse.”
Jacob was angry as he explained he felt like he was the only one who cared about his mum, if his dad and Leyla’s own sister couldn’t even be bothered to turn up and say goodbye.
Later, Sarah accompanied Jacob to the house as he explained he hadn’t managed to go back since his mum’s death. While there, he got emotional once again and said: “My dad can’t bear to be around me. Mum’s gone.” He then started frantically grabbing various items before crying in Sarah’s arms.
Elsewhere in Emmerdale tonight
Things looked to be over for Moira and Cain as she struggled to forgive him for his fling with Ruby.
After Cain took Moira to her hospital appointment when she was let down by Mack, Moira informed him that nothing would change as she couldn’t get over him letting her down when she needed him the most.
Moira soon asked Cain to move out of their house. When they returned home Cain asked Moira to ask him to stay, but she couldn’t and instead took to her bed and burst into tears. Is this really the end for the couple?

In Emmerdale, Charity Dingle has lived a very turbulent life since first setting foot in the village in 2000.
From her prior love of an illegal scam and rich men, Charity has evolved into a somewhat responsible woman. Now at the centre of the village as the landlady of the Woolpack, Emmerdale wouldn’t be the same without her.
Here is a recap of the iconic character’s history.
Charity and Cain were reunited with daughter Debbie (Credit: ITV/Shutterstock)
Teen pregnancy for Charity Dingle in Emmerdale
Charity arrived in the village in March 2000 for her cousin Butch’s funeral. From the start, it was clear to see that she was a whirlwind and a force to be reckoned with.
As her past was explored, it was revealed that she’d had a baby with her second cousin Cain Dingle when she’d been just 13. The daughter, Debbie, was given up for adoption.
But fate intervened. When Debbie’s adoptive mother fell ill, Debbie just happened to be placed in foster care in the same village her birth mum lived in.
When Debbie shared a photo of her birth mum with Cain, he was shocked to realise it was Charity. Charity was initially a reluctant mother, but soon her and Debbie bonded. Debbie later moved into Home Farm with Charity and her rich husband Chris Tate.
Chris framed Charity for murder (Credit: ITV/Shutterstock)
Framed for murder
As Cain and Charity grew closer over their relationship with Debbie, Chris grew increasingly jealous. Chris started to take his anger out on Debbie, resulting in her going to live with the Dingles.
Charity and Cain soon begun an affair. When Chris found out, he chucked Charity out of Home Farm. Chris soon discovered he had a brain tumour and decided to end his own life.
However, his final act of revenge was to frame Charity for murder. Charity was found guilty of the crime and sentenced to life in prison. While behind bars, she gave birth to her and Chris’s son Noah.
Charity was later released from jail after Chris’s sister Zoe presented evidence that Chris had in fact taken his own life. Zoe supplied this evidence after making a deal with Charity that she’d get her out of jail if she could adopt Noah. But Zoe’s adoption application was rejected and Noah stayed with Charity.

Disastrous marriages to Jai and Declan
Despite interference from Jai’s brother Nikhil and Charity’s jealous former partner Cain, Jai and Charity managed to tie the knot in 2012. But the marriage quickly begun to struggle when Charity told Jai she didn’t want any more children.
As a result, Jai had a one night stand with Rachel. The marriage finally came to an end when Charity noticed how close Jai was to Rachel’s baby Archie and realised that he was in fact Archie’s father.
With the ink barely dry on the divorce papers, Charity married Declan Macey in 2014, making her queen of Home Farm once again. But the relationship was full of lies. After falling pregnant, Charity lied that she’d had a miscarriage during an altercation with Declan’s sister Megan.
Declan was the dramatic type and decided this kind of betrayal could only be punished by murder. But instead of shooting Charity, he accidentally shot and killed his nephew Robbie instead.

Rape Ordeal
Charity’s youth was traumatic. Following her teen pregnancy, Charity ended up on the streets working as a prostitute. During this time, she came across policeman Mark Bails.
He ended up abusing and raping Charity, as well as pimping her out to his friends. When she was just 14, she gave birth to another child – who we now know to be Ryan Stocks.
Years later, Charity met DI Bails again when he tried to have her convicted for fraud. Charity decided she couldn’t allow him to harm anyone else, so she found the courage to report Bails to the police.
In court, Charity was forced to retell her entire history, including the time he laughed at her when she asked him to stop raping her. Bails was found guilty on multiple counts and given 30 years in prison.
‘Vanity’ were a popular couple (Credit: ITV/Shutterstock)
Romance with Vanessa
While Charity previously explored a same-sex relationship with Zoe Tate, it was her relationship with Vanessa Woodfield that fans really brought into. They even earned the nickname ‘Vanity.’
Charity’s barriers came down with Vanessa and she even proposed to her twice – on the second time her girlfriend said yes.
Charity supported Vanessa through her battle against cancer and officially adopted her son, Johnny. But the old Charity resurfaced and, letting paranoia get in the way, Charity ended up snogging a stranger she’d met on the side of the road.
Charity killed Harry after he kidnapped Mack (Credit: ITV)
Love triangle and Damon Harris murder
After falling for Mackenzie Boyd, Charity found herself in a love triangle after he got Chloe pregnant. Despite marrying Charity, after Mack was outed as Reuben’s father, he decided to begin a relationship with Chloe. But the feelings between Mack and Charity remained.
This all came to a head during a famous Emmerdale stunt scene, when Mack chose to save Charity over Chloe, when the car they were in was dangerously close to falling off a cliff.
Unfortunately for Mack, Chloe’s dad Damon ‘Harry’ Harris was a notable gangster and he took Mack hostage. Charity trailed Harry to a derelict warehouse where she saw his gun in hand ready to kill Mack. She attempted to wrestle the gun from Harry, but in the altercation it went off, killing Harry.

In Emmerdale tonight, April Windsor returned to school, but she she was disheartened to hear some of her classmates talking about her.
Elsewhere, it was Jacob’s birthday and he got emotional when he found a present his mum had purchased before she sadly died.
Here is the full rundown of what happened in Emmerdale tonight (Friday, February 28).
April heard girls gossiping about her (Credit: ITV)
April went back to school
Yesterday, April made the brave decision to go back to school. However, it wasn’t a successful day and April ended up leaving early after hearing two girls talking about her.
While April was in a cubicle, two girls entered the toilet. One mentioned that April was back at school and referred to her as a “freak”.
The girls continued to slag April off, saying she looked “dead rough” and “have you seen the state of her?”
They also speculated about who the baby’s father was. “That’s what happens when you have a baby with someone on drugs,” said one of the girls, while the other girl said she had heard it was a mate of April’s dad.
April was also referred to as a “slapper”, while one girl said: “My mum said it’s always the ones who make out they’re little miss perfect,” and called her a “silly cow”.
All the while, April was upset in the cubicle listening in. Poor April. Once the girls left the toilets, April crept out too and left school. This caused Marlon and Rhona to worry that she’d run off again, but she soon returned home.
It was Jacob’s birthday (Credit: ITV)
Jacob struggled with his grief
Sarah found Jacob Gallagher at Leyla’s office, where he apologised to her for shouting at her over Noah.
It was also revealed to be Jacob’s birthday. He showed Sarah a present he’d found under his mum’s desk. Jacob opened it and became emotional to see it was an engraved stethoscope.Â
He also opened the card, which had the message: “Happy birthday to the best son in the universe, the best doctor in the world and the love of my life now and forever.”
Later, in the pub, Jacob was struggling to work through his grief. Belle sat with him and spoke about what it was like when her mum died. Jacob soon decided that his mum wouldn’t want him wallowing on his own on his birthday.

Dawn and Joe were caught in Emmerdale tonight
Joe caught Lydia trying to go through his drawers. She pretended she was putting ironing away, but Joe knew she was lying.
Later, Dawn continued to flirt with Joe, telling him everyone was out. But Joe pointed out that ‘Inspector Clueless’ was there, referring to Lydia.
However, Joe didn’t need much persuading and he agreed to meet Dawn at the cottage. Lydia decided to follow him. She was shocked to see him kissing Dawn and took a photo – not so clueless after all.
Joe returned to Home Farm later to find Billy. Billy confided that Dawn is always too busy for him lately. Joe appeared to have a conscience briefly as he told Billy he was sure it would all work out.
After learning the truth from Lydia, Kim later spoke to Dawn, informing her that she loved Billy Fletcher for his decency and honesty that others don’t seem to share.
Before Kim could go any further, Dawn was called away to her son. Kim decided to confront Joe instead, telling him she knows about Dawn. She told him that Dawn is vulnerable, but his response was simply to say Dawn needed an escape because Billy is boring.
Kim threatened to tell Billy and kick Joe out if Joe doesn’t put a stop to it. But will he listen to her?Â
