  • Jimmy will catch Tom hurting Amelia, fan theory predicts

Jimmy will catch Tom hurting Amelia, fan theory predicts

A new Emmerdale fan theory has predicted that Jimmy will see the light about Tom King’s awful behaviour – when he witnesses him hurting Amelia.

This comes after Tom briefly showed his true colours to Amelia earlier in the week, snapping at her as his frustration with the Dingles grew. Tom may have faked a beating (thanks to his eager-to-please solicitor), but the Dingles’ victimisation is very real.

    Emmerdale: Tom’s treatment of Amelia

As they unveiled a ‘Guy’ for the bonfire that was dressed just like him, Tom saw red. He snapped at the Dingles and then, as Amelia tried to calm him down, he exploded at her too.

Amelia was shocked by Tom’s behaviour and, for a while, it looked as though the penny had finally dropped. However, last night (Wednesday, October 7), she let Jimmy talk her back on side – and accepted Tom’s apology.

With Amelia and Jimmy still firmly in his corner, Tom is doing a sterling job of keeping his supporters on track. But how will Jimmy find out when the truth does come out?

Emmerdale fans predict that Jimmy will witness Tom hurting Amelia

As the episode aired, fans took to social media to share their thoughts. And one viewer wondered whether Jimmy might get to see Tom’s abusive tendencies firsthand.

“I’m beginning to think that Jimmy will catch Tom beating her up, and that’s how it ends,” suggested one fan.

However, when Tom is finally caught out, one thing’s for sure – Amelia and Jimmy are going to regret their naivety where he’s concerned.

“If something does happen to Amelia I hope Jimmy realises that it’s his enabling that led to it because he practically guilt tripped that girl into getting back with Tom,” said one fan.

“Even now Jimmy isn’t convinced about Tom. C’mon Jimmy open your eyes,” begged another.

“Beginning to think Belle had a real premonition of Tom killing Amelia,” another viewer suggested.

  • ‘Fake’ Sugden John is Robert’s former cell mate, new fan theory predicts

‘Fake’ Sugden John is Robert’s former cell mate, new fan theory predicts

A new Emmerdale fan theory has suggested that John Sugden isn’t entirely who he’s claiming to be – with one idea predicting that he could be Robert’s former cell mate… and lover.

This comes following last night’s episode (Wednesday, November 6), in which John tried to get Aaron to open up about his relationship with Robert. The typically bull-headed Robert was having none of it, leaving John frustrated.

“What are you, jealous?” Aaron asked as John demanded to know whether he still had feelings for his ex-husband.

“Why would I be jealous of someone like him?” John responded.

A curious comment to some – with one viewer predicting that John’s remark could hint at a surprising shared history between the pair.

Does John know Robert on Emmerdale?

Writing on X last night, one fan shared this intriguing theory, saying: “Yep this new Sugden is a FAKE Sugden. Him and Aaron talking about Robert and he says a man like him… Scorned lover AKA Robert’s cell mate.”

“I think John isn’t the real John and he’s been in jail with Robert, remember the name on the dog tags…something is not right,” said another.

Could ‘John Sugden’ actually be a former cell mate of Robert’s – and a scorned lover too, at that?

This isn’t the first time that viewers have been left wondering whether there’s more to John’s past than meets the eye. John holding on to a pair of dog tags engraved with the name ‘Aidan Moore’ had some theorising that he might have stolen a former army mate’s identity – although the soap seems to have quashed that one more recently.

    Is John hiding something?

  • Paula Lane being ‘wasted’ as Ella, fans declare as they predict she’s about to turn ‘psycho’

Paula Lane being ‘wasted’ as Ella, fans declare as they predict she’s about to turn ‘psycho’

Fans of Emmerdale have complained that star Paula Lane is being ‘wasted’ in the soap as Ella Forster. Poor Ella hasn’t had an easy time of it since returning to the village – with Liam struggling to make up his mind between her and Chas.

Liam ultimately did make his choice, and it was one which left Ella out in the cold, dumped by the doctor as he decided to go for Chas instead.

To add insult to injury, Liam also told Ella that she needed to find a new job too – making her jobless as well as single. And, as a loved-up Liam and Chas took their relationship to the next level last night (Wednesday, November 6) it appeared that Liam felt no regrets over his decision.

Emmerdale fans predict ‘wasted’ Ella to turn ‘psycho’

As scenes between Chas and Liam aired, fans took to social media to share their thoughts on the soap’s treatment of Ella – and one fan thought its star deserved better.

“Paula Lane is being completely wasted as Ella. Our Kylie was brilliant,” said one fan, referring to her past role as Kyle Platt in Coronation Street.

Meanwhile, others wondered how Ella might take the news that Liam had dumped her for Chas.

“Liam is boring when he isn’t being a dishonest wimp – Ella should kill him for the bants when she finds out she was ditched for Chas,” one viewer joked.

“Wait till Ella finds out about Liam and Chas,” warned another.

“They are so lovely! But the minute she said the sky could fall in and she wouldn’t notice… she tempted soap fate! Ella will turn psycho you just know it!” said a third.

Ella’s history as Liam and Chas seal the deal

Last night’s episode of the soap saw Liam and Chas grow closer as he nipped around with flowers, new clothes and a dash of aftershave. When Chas opened up to him about her vulnerability following her cancer surgery, Liam was quick to allay her fears.

And, with Chas feeling reassured, the pair fell into bed, more loved-up than ever. Fans were overjoyed to see Liam and Chas finally celebrate their connection, but is there trouble ahead?

Liam and Chas union leaves fans overjoyed – but they spot hint happiness won’t last

Fans of Emmerdale have been left overjoyed at the coupling of Liam and Chas – but have predicted that their newfound happiness will be short-lived.

Last night’s episode of the soap saw Chas and Liam looking loved-up at last. Liam was eager to give his all to their new relationship, turning up with flowers, new aftershave and sweet words for Chas. Chas was less sure, feeling self-conscious after her recent cancer surgery. However, Liam was quick to reassure her that he’d give her all the time she needs.

  • Daisy Campbell lands new role after being axed from Emmerdale

Daisy Campbell lands new role after being axed from Emmerdale

Emmerdale star Daisy Campbell has landed a new role outside of the soap. This follows recent news that Daisy will be leaving the soap after thirteen years of playing Amelia Spencer.

According to The Mirror, producers told a shocked Daisy that they would be writing Amelia out of the soap during a meeting earlier this year.

While the soap hasn’t revealed details of Amelia’s exit, Daisy has wasted little time in putting herself out there – appearing on the Big Brother spin-off Late & Live last night (Monday, October 4).

Emmerdale star Daisy Campbell makes appearance in new role

Daisy showed up on the Big Brother spin-off as a panelist alongside YouTuber Zeze Millz and ex-housemate Henry Southan.

“All the way from Emmerdale Farm and ready to dish the dirt, it’s Daisy Campbell!” host Will Best exclaimed as he introduced Daisy to the studio audience.

Together with co-host AJ Odudu, Will and the group went on to discuss the latest happenings from inside the Big Brother house. And Daisy seemed to be in fine spirits indeed – a world away from Emmerdale and Tom’s manipulation.

When will Daisy Campbell leave Emmerdale?

In an interview with The Mirror, Daisy explained why she was leaving the soap.

“It wasn’t my choice to leave Emmerdale and it was a shock at first. Being in Emmerdale is all I have ever known. I’ve spent the whole of my childhood growing up in the soap and it felt daunting,” she said.

“Once they explained, I totally got it. Amelia isn’t part of the Dingles, her dad has left, Samson has gone now and she doesn’t have any family. There is nowhere to take Amelia and I understand that. I feel incredibly lucky to have been in the soap for 13 years and to have been handed so many opportunities at such a young age.”

Daisy’s final scenes on the soap will air this Christmas.

  • Nicola and Bob affair predicted by fans – and Tom will use it to his advantage

Nicola and Bob affair predicted by fans – and Tom will use it to his advantage

Emmerdale fans have predicted that an affair between Nicola and Bob is on the cards – and that scheming Tom could use it to his sinister advantage.

Last night’s episode of the soap (Monday, November 4), saw Nicola share a tender moment with Bob. This came after her daughter Angel’s return to the village. Bob set aside his heartbreak to tell Nicola that Angel was struggling since her return from the STC – and planned not to go back to school either.

As Nicola broke down, the pair shared a comforting hug. However, the moment had some fans wondering whether Nicola and Bob might be headed for an affair.

And even if not, one fan theory predicted that manipulative Tom could use Bob to drive a wedge between Nicola and Jimmy.

Emmerdale fans predict Tom will use Nicola and Bob ‘affair’ to his own advantage

Writing on X as the scene aired, fans shared their thoughts on where Bob and Nicola‘s tender moment might be headed.

“Nicola, be careful hugging Bob in public. Tom will lay it on thick with Jimmy and convince him (though it won’t take much) that she’s having a fling,” suggested one worried viewer.

“Hear me out… Nicola and Bob affair incoming?” asked a second.

“Please put Bob and Nicola together even if it’s just to sicken Jimmy,” joked another.

However, others saw the scene for what it was – a warmer moment shared between two struggling parents. After all, Bob has recently lost son Heath due to Angelica’s actions.

“Well it’s good to see Nicola Wheeler get some material to dig into. That scene with Nicola and Bob was fantastic…” another fan said.

Fans warn soap not to put Bob and Nicola together

Earlier this year, fans warned writers of the soap not to go ahead with a Bob and Nicola affair. This came in August, as Nicola sought comfort in Bob’s words after learning that Angel wasn’t doing too well at the detention centre.

As Bob gave Nicola a shoulder to cry on (very good of him, given what Angel had actually done), viewers sensed there could be more to it and begged the soap not to go there.
