Newcomer Rich is Al Chapman’s secret son, a new fan theory predicts

A new Emmerdale fan theory has arisen, suggesting that Jacob’s pal Rich could be the secret son of soap lothario Al Chapman. Rich has been the talk of the town this week after he became prime suspect in having spiked Noah.

Noah’s so-called spiking, in turn, set into motion a calamitous sequence of events. wandering in the middle of the road, Charity almost ran over her own son, having been driving a limo full of women (and Liam) at the time.

Swerving to avoid her son, she crashed into an ice-covered lake. During the crash and in its aftermath, three people were killed – Suzy, Leyla and Amy. In the days which followed, Noah and Charity searched for answers, reasoning that he must have been spiked.

    Did Rich spike Noah?

It was then that Charity set out on the hunt for Rich. With Noah having intercepted a drink meant from Belle, everyone figured that Rich must have spiked it. He had previous for dodgy behaviour too, being caught with a bag full of cocaine in The Hide.

But with Rich managing to convince Charity and Belle he was innocent, she switched her suspicions back to Joe. And, as Noah suffered flashbacks to Joe standing over him in a mysterious hospital room, she may just be right. Did Joe drug Noah?

Meanwhile, some viewers have pointed out that Rich looks somewhat familiar. Is he the son of a former village resident?

Rich is the secret son of Al Chapman, Emmerdale fans predict

Writing on social media as this week’s episodes aired, fans shared their thoughts on Rich’s parentage. And some wondered whether he might be the son of one Al Chapman.

“Jacob’s friend looks like Al, anyone remember him? He was Chas’ ex fella,” wrote one fan.

“His secret son?” a second wondered.

“He [Al] was a dirty dog if I remember correctly so probably,” a third agreed.

    Could Rich be Al’s son?

Love rat Al was the former lover of Chas Dingle. After a lengthy affair, he died – killed by young Kyle, who’d been protecting his dad. But, as one fan rightfully points out, Al was famed for his putting it about. Could he have a son in Rich?

Fans worried for Aaron as John raises ‘major red flags’ with ‘controlling’ behaviour

Fans of Emmerdale have been left worried for Aaron as John Sugden showed off a series of ‘red flags’ during last night’s episode of the soap. This came as Aaron informed him that mum Chas wanted him to go to the police to beating Anthony prior to his disappearance.

Worried that John couldn’t be trusted, Chas left Aaron with doubts about John. Returning home, he told John that Chas wanted to go to the police, and again asked where the body was – and how he could be so cool about the situation.

John hit back, fuming that Aaron hadn’t told him about Chas’s plan. “I thought you loved me,” he said, worried that Chas was planning on throwing him under the bus. “I put my life on the line to save your skin. Just you remember that.

An understandable fear, given he’s covered up a murder for them all – but his delivery had some concerned.

Emmerdale fans worry for Aaron amid ‘red flags’

Writing on a Reddit thread, fans shared their fears for Aaron, who was on the receiving end of John’s manipulation.

“Is it just me or is John showing his manipulative, controlling side?” asked one fan.

“Yep. “I thought you loved me” was a huge red flag,” replied another.

“Manipulative, secretive, controlling, and proper creepy,” a third commented.

“Yeah as soon as he said that line I thought that, it’s the sort of thing Tom would have said to Belle,” pointed out a fourth, invoking the name of Tom King.

John revealed Anthony’s final resting place on Emmerdale last night

Looking to claw back some control over the situation, John relented and showed Aaron where he’d buried Anthony. Meeting Aaron, Chas, Caleb, Cain and Ruby out in the woods, John revealed Anthony’s makeshift grave – under a trunk in the ice and snow.

This seemed to satisfy those with nagging doubts, and Chas put her plan to call the police on the back-burner. Later, Ruby returned to her dad’s final resting place, where she let out a cry of anguish.

But is John telling the truth? Some fear that he’s still manipulating the situation and speculation grows as to whether Anthony really is buried there – or even really dead at all. Can Aaron trust John?

John is keeping Anthony locked up alive, new fan theory predicts

A new Emmerdale fan theory has predicted that Anthony is alive – and that John Sugden is keeping him locked up somewhere. This came as he finally showed Aaron, Chas and the others where he’d stashed the old man’s body.

With Chas threatening to go to the police, John decided to reassure them that he could be trusted by taking the cover-up committee to Anthony’s final resting place.

Chas and the others seemed satisfied, and she put her plan to go to the police on the back-burner. Once everyone else had cleared off, Ruby paid her dad a visit, breaking down as she stood over his makeshift grave.

But is that really Anthony under there? A growing number of viewers are convinced that Anthony’s body isn’t actually where John says it is.

Anthony alive as John Sugden’s captive, Emmerdale fans predict

Writing on X as last night’s episode aired, a number of fans shared their theories as to what John was up to. And many wondered if Anthony‘s body was buried there after all – or if he’s even dead.

“Part of me thinks that John has Anthony locked up somewhere…..alive,” wrote one fan on the social media site.

“Of course we don’t really know if Anthony was dead when Ruby left him. She thought he was, but only John really knows,” said another.

“Is Anthony actually dead?, it was John that pronounced and John that disposed of the “body,” a third pointed out.

“Nope… Anthony is not there! I WONDER if, John brought him back to life and the deal is that he stayed gone,” a fourth agreed.

  • Who sent Frankie a gift from Nate in Emmerdale? All the possible suspects

Who sent Frankie a gift from Nate in Emmerdale? All the possible suspects

He may be six feet under (water), but no-one can accuse Nate Robinson of being a bad father – and tonight’s episode of Emmerdale saw him mark little Frankie’s birthday by sending a gift her way. Or at least, the person who killed him did.

As the episode began, Cain popped by to see his granddaughter on her birthday, picking up a package from the doorstep. As he handed it over, Tracy discovered that it contained a card and a gift from ‘Nate.’

However, Tracy then confirmed that she’d neither seen nor heard from Nate since he left the village, and he still wasn’t answering her calls, even after the limo crash. No great surprise there – Nate is dead, currently chained up and bodybagged at the bottom of a lake.

This begs the question: if Nate didn’t send Frankie a gift on her birthday, then who did?

    Caleb looking worried in Emmerdale

    Caleb

As the death of Nate was confirmed, Caleb emerged as one of the likely suspects. As Friday night’s episode ended, Caleb stormed out of the house on mystery business. The soap then cut to a mystery figure standing by the lake, overlooking Nate’s watery grave.

In addition to the soap hinting that he knows where Nate lies, Caleb was responsible for his disappearance – telling Cain that he’d seen Moira and Nate snogging in the barn. This turned out to be untrue, but by then the damage was done, and innocent Nate earned a beating from Cain.

One theory suggests that Caleb knew full well what he was doing when he dobbed Cain in – and then killed him before he could leave the village. Did Caleb send Frankie’s birthday gift?

    Cain Dingle

    Cain

Another figure implied to be at the lake on Friday, Cain spent yesterday morning cleaning mud off of his boots. Cain is unlikely to have killed his son, but it’s not entirely out of the question either – maybe Nate died from injuries obtained during Cain’s beating, and Cain was simply covering his tracks?

Again, it’s unlikely, but don’t count Cain out just yet. After all, whoever sent the gift would have to know when Frankie’s birthday is – so is likely someone close to the family.

    John

Add another one to the killer John Sudgen theory. With many viewers believing that John could be a secret serial killer, he’s prime suspect for many to have killed Nate. As he proved with Anthony, the man knows his way around a cover up – if so, sending Frankie a present on her birthday would be an ingenious move.

As for his motive, one fan theory suggests that John has a thing against absentee fathers and killed Nate in a fit of rage after learning he was about to abandon Frankie.

Is Nate still alive on Emmerdale?

Nate’s fate may seem sealed, but lest we forget we’ve not actually seen his face yet. While the bracelet does seem like compelling evidence, there’s always the outside possibility that Nate really is alive and well in Scotland.  But how to explain the friendship bracelet?

What happened in Emmerdale tonight: Chas wants to to to the police, Charity is onto Joe, and Noah’s in the dark

Chas Dingle put forward a plan to go to the police over Anthony’s disappearance in Emmerdale tonight (Tuesday, February 25) – as she worried that warring brothers Cain and Caleb are about to ruin it for everyone.

Elsewhere, as Noah blamed himself for the limo crash, Charity pursued Kim Tate in the hope of bringing Joe down. She knows that he spiked Noah… but can she prove it?

Meanwhile, Moira confronted Ruby over her fling with Cain, and Vanessa turned to Mary for help.

Here’s everything that happened on Emmerdale tonight.

Cain and Caleb’s feud continued on Emmerdale tonight

Bright and early, Cain paid a visit to Tracy on Frankie’s birthday. He handed over a gift he’d found on the doorstep from Nate. Questioning whether she’d heard from him, Tracy revealed he still wasn’t answering his phone, and had gone incommunicado since leaving the village.

Unsurprising, given he’s currently chained up like Jason Voorhees at the bottom of a lake… but who’s sending Frankie birthday gifts?

Cain then bumped into Aaron and Chas, who were concerned for Moira, undergoing radiotherapy with the stress of a cheating husband and a secret murder. Spotting Caleb with Kyle, Cain dragged his son away, and issued Caleb another warning. With PC Swirling hovering nearby, Chas ushered the boys back home for another hush-hush meeting of the murder cover-up club.

In the Woolpack back room, Chas attempted to contain the situation. Her worries that their feud was going to collapse their carefully stacked house of cards fell on deaf ears, and the brothers continued to rage at each other.

Moira had it out with Ruby

As Matty and Moira returned home from an appointment, he questioned how Moira could be so forgiving of Cain. He knows nothing of the murder, of course – and just saw his mum as being uncharacteristically weak.

Moira interrupted as Aaron begged Ruby to make Caleb see sense, sending him packing. She shared what Matty had told her earlier, then unloaded on Ruby for dragging her into a murder conspiracy when she should be looking after her own health and family.

As the pair shared a glass of wine, Moira demanded to know why Cain, of all people. Ruby confirmed that she’d just wanted to hurt herself, without thought of others.

Ruby begged Moira to forgive Cain and not throw away their marriage…. but will Moira listen?

Chas wants to go to the police

As Aaron filled Chas in on Moira’s visit, she continued to stress that the brothers were going to ruin it for everyone. She told Aaron that they needed to preemptively go to the police and save their own skin.

Her plan was for Aaron to go to the police and admit that he’d had a run-in with Anthony, making himself look innocent and throwing the ball back into the others’ court.

Will Aaron agree to go to the police?

Noah struggled to put together the pieces

Joe was making smug calls in the Woolpack, congratulating a mystery business partner on his latest deal. After being called slimy by Charity, he bit back, telling her that she seemed to be in a good mood given she’d just caused three deaths. Ouch.

It was then that she told him that she knew he’d spiked Noah. He denied it, and accused her of making him her scapegoat to cover for her own guilt.

Later, Joe paid Noah a visit – bringing gifts of crisps, beer and a PlayStation 5. Noah remained downbeat, still blaming himself for the limo crash. As Joe pressed whether he’d remembered anything from the experience, Noah confirmed that it was a total blackout, save for fleeting glimpses of a hospital.

    Charity begged Kim for help

Kim was listening in on more of Joe’s audio recordings when Charity stormed in and again accused Joe of spiking Noah. She revealed that she knows about all Kim’s surveillance – and wanted help finding proof of what Noah had done.

Kim was convinced that Joe’s a changed man, but Charity was having none of it. And, as Joe returned home, she once again warned him to stay away from Noah.

Kim kept quiet about Charity’s true motives, but it was clear she was rattled.

Mary looks at Vanessa with concern on Emmerdale

Vanessa turned to Mary in Emmerdale tonight

Tracy and Vanessa celebrated Frankie’s birthday. Tracy was dismayed to find that Vanessa hadn’t bought her niece a present or card – but, to be fair, she’s had other things on her mind, with the death of Suzy.

In the pub, Charity shared a moment with Vanessa, telling her that she’d always been fond of Suzy and liked them both together. in turn, she informed Charity that Suzy’s parents had begun funeral arrangements in her hometown. With the assembly restricted to close friends and family only (plus Vanessa), she asked Mary if she’d mind attending the funeral with her.

Mary – who only moments earlier had been pining over a picture of Suzy – accepted without hesitation. Does she have an ulterior motive?

Emmerdale: As Chas plans to break Dingle Code to protect Aaron, here’s what happens next

Tonight’s episode of Emmerdale saw Chas Dingle prepare to do the unthinkable in defence of son Aaron – break Dingle code by going to the police over Anthony’s disappearance.

As warring brothers Caleb and Cain continued to attract all the wrong kinds of attention (oh hi, PC Swirling), Chas began to panic. As the boys’ bickering escalated tonight (Tuesday, February 25), Chas put together a plan to to extricate Aaron from the situation.

Her grand idea? Having him confess to an altercation with Anthony.

Chas resorts to desperate measures as Cain and Caleb’s feud continues

According to Chas’s plan, any fallout from Anthony’s murder would all then fall back on Cain and Caleb. This would then leave them to answer the more difficult questions. This, she reasoned, would leave Aaron in the clear.

Sharing her plan with Aaron, it was clear he was a little more dubious, and had yet to play along as the episode ended. Will Aaron agree to break Dingle code to save his own skin?

Unlikely – especially as John may still be implicated in covering up the murder. But how will the others react when they learn what Chas is planning?

Emmerdale slammed for casting new ‘bad boy’ character after devastating exits

Fans of Emmerdale have slammed the soap for introducing new ‘bad boy’ Kammy in the wake of three devastating exits last week. Soap bosses confirmed last night that newcomer Kammy will be joining the cast – as a would-be quad bike thief who clashes with Ross and befriends Sarah.

His introduction comes as Suzy, Leyla and Amy all left the soap last week. The women were killed off in a devastating limousine crash which leaves the village reeling in grief.

And many didn’t take the announcement of the newcomer well – with many bemoaning the introduction of yet another ‘bad boy.’

Emmerdale fans fume as soap introduces new ‘bad boy’

Reacting on Reddit as the news dropped, fans shared their dismay at the addition of a new ‘bad boy’ to the soap’s already stacked line-up.

“It’ll be another so called bad boy who will be forced to have beef with a randomly selected villager, either Ross or someone else for no real reason and will almost certainly end up bedding half the women in the village,” wrote one fan.

“I really don’t understand your logic. A number of characters have been let go, to be replaced by at least one bad boy. Seriously!” complained another on X.

“New bad boy to shake things up, how original. So axe long standing characters and replace with someone who viewers are meant to dislike?” said a third.

“Feels like there’s too many of these “bad boy” characters in Emmerdale at the moment,” another agreed.

As the pair begin to build a relationship, Sarah soon finds herself getting in touch with her village roots.

Katie Hill, who plays Sarah Sugden said: “I can’t wait for the audience to meet Kammy – he’s a really fun character and a great addition to the village. Cain will tell Steph the truth about Anthony’s abuse, new Emmerdale fan theory predicts

A new Emmerdale fan theory has suggested that Cain Dingle will be the one to tell Steph about Anthony’s abuse of Ruby. This comes as last night Steph demanded answers from her family – confused as to why Cain was the one making threats when he was the guilty party.

What she doesn’t know is that her dear old ‘granddad’ is dead – murdered by Ruby after years of sexual abuse. She also doesn’t know that Anthony is her biological father, as confirmed by a paternity test earlier this year.

This is all bound to come out sooner rather than later – especially given Steph’s relentlessness in pursuing the truth. Caleb and Steph tried to tell her that Anthony had beat his daughter as a teenager, but that’s barely cutting it.

And one fan thinks that Steph will get her answers soon enough – from Cain Dingle, no less.

Writing on a Reddit thread, one fan suggested that Cain could be the one to tell Steph the truth about Anthony.

“I think Cain is going to be the one who tells Steph the truth about Anthony raping her mother and his role her conception.” this fan shared.

Elsewhere, others debated Steph’s behaviour in the episode, with one viewer writing: “Is it me or every scene now consists of her walking into a room, throwing an insult and walking out only to return to the next scene where she does the same thing just in a different location?”

“It makes me wonder why she continues to stay there. It’s not as though she grew up here or has lifelong friends. It seems she wants to stay to snark at her parents and punish them for grandad leaving,” said another.

“She’s an annoying character. They need to give her more purpose than this,” a third commented.

Emmerdale fans ‘rumble’ Mary and Suzy affair after spotting huge ‘clue’ amid vigil scenes

Fans of Emmerdale are convinced that there was something going on between Mary Goskirk and Suzy Merton before the party planner’s tragic death – and have now seized upon a vital piece of ‘evidence’ that they were having an affair.

Last night (Monday, February 24), the village held a vigil for the three lives lost. And, as Vanessa mourned girlfriend Suzy, Mary took the opportunity to pay her condolences… and take a little something for herself.

Telling Vanessa that she and Suzy had been friends, she then sneakily took a picture of Suzy from the refrigerator, pocketing it for herself. Clearly, Mary is doing some secret mourning of her own, but what’s the full story?

The pair did have unfinished business after all – with the pair beginning a tentative romance before Vanessa returned to the village and resumed her relationship with Suzy.

A number of fans have theorised that Mary and Suzy may have been having an affair prior to the limousine crash, and have taken Mary’s photo theft as confirmation.

‘Danger’ teased for Sarah as Shebz Miah reveals Emmerdale role

Speaking about his exciting new role in the soap, actor Shebz Miah, said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining the cast of Emmerdale. Everyone has been so welcoming and I already feel like a part of the family.”

He continued: “I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better job – the character is such an exciting one to play and Kammy will definitely ruffle a few feathers, but he does have the gift of the gab so although he causes a lot of mischief, I think it will be hard not to like him!”

Meanwhile, Katie Hill, who plays Sarah Sugden said: “I can’t wait for the audience to meet Kammy – he’s a really fun character and a great addition to the village. We might even see him and Sarah get up to a bit of mischief together… It has been great having Shebz join the cast and he’s been brilliant to work with!”

Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw added: “We are delighted to be welcoming Shebz to Emmerdale as cheeky charmer Kammy. Charismatic, with a very playful spirit, but ultimately kind at heart, Yorkshire lad Kammy promises to bring both excitement and danger to the village.”
