April opens up to Marlon as father and daughter are reunited
April gradually began to open up, telling her dad about her experiences on the streets of Leeds – including the tragic death of friend Becca, and the circumstances surrounding her pregnancy.
Both grew emotional as she refused to come home, and talked of how she felt invisible within her own family. Amid the bombshell revelations and painful admissions, stars Amelia Flanagan and Mark Charnock delivered two powerhouse performances.
Strong stuff, and the fans have taken note too.

Noah is planning a big move, with brother Joe Tate setting him up with a job in Dubai on this week’s Emmerdale. With his electrician’s business crumbling (thanks Joe!) Noah was all ears as Joe span stories of the glitzy life in Dubai.
Won over with stories of free housing, a massive salary and the Dubai sunshine, Noah was eager to leave the village behind. And his mother’s protests otherwise only seemed to make him more determined to go.
But is Noah’s job offer legitimate? Highly dubious, given that Joe wasn’t actually on the phone to anyone.

Noah’s job offer fake, say Emmerdale fans as Joe pretends to make a call
As Joe called his contact in Dubai on Wednesday, the camera zoomed in on his phone screen – revealing that he wasn’t calling anyone at all.
“Seriously, Noah needs to WAKE UP! Joe didn’t get you the job, he just pretended. The phone was literally blank, with no ongoing call,” pointed out one viewer on Reddit.
“This is why it’s hard to fault Charity for being overbearing. Noah can’t look after himself, he’d get a phone call saying to empty his bank account to get a raffle ticket and go “yeah alright sure”,” another joked.
Clearly, Joe’s not telling Noah the truth – but what does he have planned?

“Joe wants Noah in Dubai as it’s prob the only place that will do any dodgy operation for his body parts,†wrote one viewer on X as Wednesday’s scenes aired.
“I wonder if there is something wrong with Joe that requires a transplant and he’s eyeing up Noah as a donor and wants to take him abroad for the op and away from Charity,†speculated another.
“Does Joe wanna kidnap Noah and nick a kidney or something worse?†asked a third.

Emmerdale is set to air two terrifying new promos for the upcoming limo lake stunt which unfolds later this month. The soap has teased the chilling disaster ever since a flashforward revealed a solitary hand fighting for life beneath a sheet of ice last year.
More details have emerged in the months since. Upcoming spoilers for next week have revealed how 16 lives will be left hanging in the balance when two limousines crash on an icy winter road.
And, as one of the car plunges into a frozen lake, at least one villager’s life will hang in the balance.

In the lead up to the event, a new promo video shows a red heart helium balloon floating from The Woolpack to the scene of the accident.
As the balloon comes to rest on an icy lake, the mysterious hand can be seen again, fighting for life.
The soap will air a second promo video in the days following. This one will show the two limousines, full of passengers.
As the cars collide, one limo comes to rest on an icy lake – the ice threatening to give way beneath them. Those within soon find themselves teetering over an icy grave.

In Emmerdale tonight, Marlon Dingle finally got the answers he’d been searching for as April began to open up (Thursday, February 6). April is in hospital recovering from complications surrounding her pregnancy – which tragically resulted in a stillbirth earlier this week.
As Marlon sat at his daughter’s bedside, she filled him in on what had happened to her, who the father was… and her plans for the coming weeks. Can Marlon continue to support troubled April?
Elsewhere, Charity struck gold as she dug for dirt on Joe, and Aaron opened his heart up to Ruby. But can she do the same for Caleb?
Meanwhile, news of April began to spread, and Leyla faced tough questions from Jacob.
Here’s everything that happened in Emmerdale tonight.
Marlon had a lot of questions for April (Credit: ITV)
April opened up to Marlon on Emmerdale tonight
As April recovered in hospital, she began to open up to her dad. Marlon‘s first questions were about the pregnancy – why didn’t she tell her parents? Did she even know?
She revealed how she’d been on the verge of telling them before finding out how her mum had died. Feeling as though she’d been lied to her whole life, why not a secret of her own?
Marlon told her that the police had looked into her social media accounts and knew she’d been taking drugs. She told him how she felt invisible in her own home; that she’d taken a background to Leo and Ivy and Rhona and his own stroke.
As she filled him in on the last month, she revealed how Becca had been stabbed while trying to get April’s purse back. Putting two and two together, Marlon realised that Becca had been the girl he’d identified. And the father of the baby?
It was then that April grew cold, insisting that he was just ‘a random lad at a party,’ and that she didn’t even know his name. She then asked what had happened to the baby. Accusing him of being glad that there was no longer a baby, she stressed that she wouldn’t be coming home.

April had a visitor
Later, Rhona snuck in as April slept, and the pair shared an emotional reunion. As she assured April that everything would be okay, Dylan watched through the window.
He was gone by the time Marlon returned. As the worried parents swapped notes, Marlon fretted that the daughter he once new was now gone forever.

Charity dug for dirt
With Joe and Dawn upstairs, Charity snooped around Home Farm. Panicking as Kim returned, she grabbed the closest thing to hand – a laptop – and snuck back out.
What will she find on Kim’s laptop?

Aaron and Ruby shared a heart-to-heart
Aaron paid a visit to Ruby, hoping to talk things out. Ruby – who was looking glamorous swigging cocktails alone at home – assured him that he had no reason to feel guilty, and should stop tormenting himself.
As they shot the breeze, Aaron opened up over his self-harm, telling her how the guilt of supposedly ‘killing’ Anthony had brought him to the verge of almost doing so again. He was concerned for her – that she was bottling up her own trauma and not talking to Caleb.
She admitted that she found it tough, and wished that Caleb was still in the dark about Anthony’s abuse. She spoke of how she’d pushed Steph away as a child and now felt rejected by Caleb, who pities her.
It was then that Caleb returned home. As Aaron left, Caleb entreated her to talk to him – a tone of voice she didn’t appreciate. He reassured her that he didn’t see her as a victim; that he loved her now more than ever.
Also on Emmerdale tonight…
Back in the Woolpack, Mary and Bob shared the gossip that April had been found, safe and sound. Nobody had bothered to tell Ross though, who walked in to be the recipient of good news for once.
Over at the Dingles, Gabby and Vinny snuck off for some alone time. Can she divert herself from naughty thoughts of Joe?
Lonely Leyla was at a loose end once more, with Jacob already having made lunch plans. He continued to press her on the restaurant she supposedly went to with Suzy, resulting in another flurry of excuses. Will Jacob cotton on to his mum’s loneliness?

Fans of Emmerdale have revealed who they think the father of April’s baby is in an exclusive poll. Viewers learned this week that April Windsor had fallen pregnant prior to running away from the village on Christmas Day, rather than face her parents’ shame and disapproval.
In tonight’s episode (Thursday, February 6), April opened up to her father, telling him where she’d been and how Becca came to wind up in Hotten General, dead and holding her ID. And, as the subject turned to that of April’s stillborn child, Marlon finally asked the question on everyone’s lips: who’s the daddy?
April’s demeanor immediately changed. The father was a boy she’d met at a party, she told him – and she didn’t even know his name. This lines up with what she told Dylan and Becca in Tuesday’s episode, suggesting she’s telling the truth.
But with some viewers suspecting that it might have been Anthony or Ross, is it really so simple?

Who’s the father of April’s baby in Emmerdale?
In answer to our poll, Emmerdale fans revealed whether they think April is telling the truth.
Out of 38 viewers polled, 71% believe that the father is a random lad – and one that we’ve never seen before.
The remaining 29% believe that it could have been a pre-existing character – Ross or Anthony, for instance.
No, it wasn’t Arthur… probably (Credit: ITV)
All the fan theories so far – and why they don’t make sense
Amid speculation, Anthony and Ross emerged as frontrunners to have potentially groomed vulnerable young April. However, upon deeper examination, neither holds up – both characters entered the soap late last year (October for Ross, Anthony in November), meaning that the timelines don’t add up – even if April did go into early labour.
Furthermore, it’s hard to imagine Ross would commit such an act. Anthony, while a monstrous figure, seemed more concerned with tormenting Ruby.
Another theory has suggested that a confused Arthur could have been responsible. However, that seems like a dubious prospect too, given that he came out as gay in 2022.

A new Emmerdale fan theory has predicted that April Windsor‘s friend Dylan is the secret son of Joe Tate. April met Dylan as she was sleeping rough on the streets of Leeds. He stepped in and rescued her from a local predator as she sought a bed for the night – bringing her back to his shelter where would live for the next month.
When we last saw Dylan, the police had nabbed him during a raid on their lodgings. April fled into the street, where she went into labour and ultimately suffered a stillbirth.
With the character already proving popular among fans, many have hoped he might return to the soap sometime soon. And one fan has come up with a theory which might bring him back full time.
Is Dylan somehow related to Joe?

Dylan is Joe Tate’s secret son, Emmerdale fan predicts
“What if Dylan ( the boy from tonight’s April episode) is Joe Tate’s dealer or his secret son? We know Joe is taking pills at the moment but where is he getting them from? This could be a good way to bring Dylan onto the show,” this fan wrote.
Whether or not Dylan might have ties to Joe, others are hoping to see him return to Emmerdale.

Bring Dylan on full time, fans beg
“Please bring the young lad in to the show who looked after April,” wrote one fan in a comment on Instagram.
“100% agree. What a belting actor he is. He’d be a great addition to the show,” said another.
“Shouldn’t April go to thank him and offer him assistance? Yes,” a third said, asking and answering their own question.
Would you like to see Dylan become a full-time addition to the Emmerdale cast?

A new Emmerdale fan theory has emerged, with viewers fearing that the police may arrest April Windsor for abandoning her stillborn child. This week’s episodes revealed that April had fallen pregnant prior to her disappearance – and the baby, tragically didn’t survive.
Suffering a stillbirth as she went into labour in a Leeds gym toilet, April stumbled back onto the streets, where she passed out on a nearby park bench. In last night’s episode (Wednesday, February 5), April reunited with her parents, who learned about her pregnancy and stillbirth.
Marlon and Rhona were shocked to discover that April had been pregnant – and now faced severe complications from the pregnancy. However, he was determined to be calm and understanding in the face of his daughter’s pain and trauma.
As the devastated dad sat at his daughter’s bedside, it was clear that her pain is far from over. However, one fan has feared that April might have even worse in store.

Police to arrest April for abandoning stillborn baby, Emmerdale fan fears
Writing as the episode aired, fans shared their reaction to April’s reunion with her father. And one fan worried that she might face legal backlash for her actions.
“So glad April is found safe but there’s gotta be an issue. Once Marlon and Rhona will take April back home the police may not let them bring her home yet as they may end up arresting her and charge April for abandoning the stillborn,” wrote one viewer on Instagram.
“If that ends up happening they won’t arrest her for a long time. Maybe a few months,” another pointed out.
“Of course they won’t,” said a third, less diplomatically.
This particular outcome seems unlikely, but it’s clear that April has a long road to recovery ahead.

Charity sneaks into Home Farm in search of dirt on Joe Tate in Emmerdale spoilers for tonight. Last night’s episode saw Charity grow frustrated as son Noah fell even further under Joe’s thrall.
Unbeknownst to them both, Joe has been leaving cruel messages on a review site for Noah’s electrician business, hoping to sabotage his career as the village’s resident sparky. As a confused Noah complained that he was struggling to find work in the wake of all the 1-star reviews, Joe floated an idea: move to Dubai, where the salaries are good and the apartments are free.
Noah was eager as Joe called up a contact in Dubai. Witnessing the exchange, Charity was horrified. She tried to talk Noah out of going, but only succeeded in driving a bigger wedge between herself and her son.
Determined to find out what Joe’s real game is, Charity snuck onto Home Farm. As Dawn and Joe nipped upstairs for their latest seedy tryst, Charity set about snooping. But what will she find… and will she be caught in the act by Kim?
Elsewhere, April recovers in hospital following her ordeal. Can Marlon give his daughter the love and support she needs?

But with the laptop loaded with all of Kim’s recordings of Joe, what will she find on there?

Marlon and Rhona were finally reunited with missing April Windsor in Emmerdale tonight. Arriving at the hospital to find her being rushed into surgery, Marlon was shocked to learn that his daughter had been pregnant when she disappeared – and suffered a stillbirth.
Meanwhile, as he continued to manipulate Noah, Joe flirted with Gabby and hooked up with Dawn again.
And, as she continued to struggle with her loneliness, Leyla struck on a bright idea. Elsewhere, Bob learned about April, and guilty parties tried to bottle up their feelings.

Marlon was reunited with April in Emmerdale tonight
Following the news that April had been found, PC Swirling rushed Rhona and Marlon to the hospital. They learned in no short order that April had been admitted to Obstetrics, having suffered a post-partum hemorrhage – she’d just given birth, and the baby was stillborn.
A doctor filled them in on what had happened, telling them that April had been found on a park bench after giving birth in a local gym. She’d been hemorrhaging for a while and required a blood transfusion.
Marlon and Rhona watched in horror as she was rushed into the operating room for another DNC (dilation and curettage to those not in the know – which doesn’t include Rhona, as she rudely snapped at one of the doctors).
The operation was a success, and April stabilised. Marlon was desperate to see his daughter, but the doctors stressed the importance of giving her time.
Walking into her room to find April recovering in bed, Marlon finally reunited with his daughter. “We don’t have to talk just yet,” he told his daughter, as he refused to stop talking.

Dawn grew jealous as Joe flirted with Gabby
At Home Farm, Kim listened in to Joe’s recent Siri searches (the temperature in Dubai, advice on a good peanut butter and jam bagel). She was interrupted by Gabby, who had also been thinking about hunky Joe. As Kim attempted to warn her off, in strolled Dawn and then Sam (the Home Farm drawing room is busier than Euston Station this morning!) who informed her that one of the horses wasn’t feeling too hot.
Meanwhile, taking note that Gabby had eyes for Joe, Dawn took keen interest. Is that a hint of jealousy we detect?
Joe continued to make Dawn jealous by flirting with Gabby throughout the day. As he and Dawn swapped barbs on the stairs, it wasn’t long before the pair ended up in each other’s arms.
Meanwhile, at the Dingles’, it was clear that Gabby was having second thoughts about her man. Settling down for dinner with Vinny, Sam, Lydia and Mandy, the chaotic, farty scene was a far cry from glamourous Home Farm with suave Joe.
Back at Home Farm, Dawn immediately had regrets over cheating on Billy again… before they leaned in for another kiss and headed to bed for round two.

Charity stewed as Noah planned his next move
In The Woolpack, Noah despaired as he continued to lose customers. Joe’s poison pen letters have been having the desired effect, and Noah’s business is suffering.
“People can be vindictive,” said Joe as he consoled his half-brother. Singing the praises of an electrician’s salary in Dubai, Joe continued to lay the seeds for his big plan. Listening in, Charity was alarmed.
She was having none of Noah’s move to Dubai – and her attempt to deter her son only seemed to have the opposite effect.
Later, as Joe and Dawn slunk off to bed together, Charity snuck into Home Farm. But what will she find?
Leyla’s been feeling lonely lately (Credit: ITV)
Leyla’s bright idea
In the shop, Pollard shamed Leyla for buying a frozen lasagna for one. As she lied about her date with Suzy, Pollard began to twig that she’s feeling more lonely than she’s letting on.
At work, Leyla floated the idea of Valentine’s prize draw with Suzy and Belle. Said prize? A luxury limousine ride…
Also on Emmerdale tonight…
John worried for Aaron’s mental well-being as he beat seven shades out of a steak. He tried to encourage him to open up, but stubborn Aaron was having none of it for now. Is Aaron bottling up something terrible?
Meanwhile, Ruby told Caleb that she was headed out for a spot of late-night shopping. He was worried about her well-being, but she too is determined to put on a brave front.
Elsewhere, Mary told Leo that he needed to apologise for his behaviour at school. Sending him off to grab some crisps as Bob arrived, she informed him of April’s situation.

Tonight’s episode of Emmerdale saw scheming Joe Tate continue to put a plan into motion – driving a wedge between Noah and Charity, setting him up with a job in Dubai. And, as Charity attempted to keep her son from leaving the village, she succeeded only in making him more determined to go.
This comes after a week of scheming for shifty Joe. On Monday, Joe sabotaged Noah’s business by leaving a series of negative reviews on the internet. And tonight (Wednesday, February 5) dismayed Noah was swayed by Joe’s stories of a high salary and free apartment in Dubai.
But what exactly does Joe have planned for Noah? Here are all the fan theories so far.
Joe wants something from Noah… but what? (Credit: ITV)
Emmerdale fans think Joe wants a kidney from Noah
The most popular theory so far is that Joe wants Noah for his organs. Sick Joe is clearly struggling with a mystery illness and, between his painkiller addiction and secretive phone calls, he won’t be able to keep it under wraps for much longer.
“Does Joe wanna kidnap Noah & nick a kidney – or something worse?” asked one fan on X.
“Bet Joe is buttering up Noah because he’s in need of an organ donor,” said another.
Could Joe be planning on taking Noah away to Dubai, where a private surgeon – and no meddling from Charity – awaits?
Who’s Joe been making sneaky phone calls to? (Credit: ITV)
He’s in league with Debbie
Another suggestion is that Joe is in league with a figure from his past. One of the many names floated is Noah’s own half-sister, Debbie.
“What if Joe and Debbie reconnected and that’s why Joe tries to get Noah to move to Dubai because that’s where she’s going to move to?” one fan asked.
Why Joe and Debbie would want or need to get Noah to Dubai isn’t clear, but fans remain convinced that Joe’s not working alone. Whether it’s Debbie, Jamie or Jean, Noah seems to be integral to their plan.

He wants revenge on Charity and Kim
Joe is clearly relishing Charity’s frustration at his reconnecting with Noah. Could Charity’s discomfort be the whole point of his scheme, rather than a side effect of it?
“It’s interesting to see the nasty side to Joe come back out. I wasn’t convinced by his Mr. Nice Guy act. Not sure his agenda though, revenge on Kim & Charity?” asked one viewer.
“Ooh we think Joe is out to topple Kim,” said another.
Quite why Kim would care about him taking Noah to Dubai is unclear at this stage, but viewers have their suspicions. Kim too, if her recent room-bugging antics are anything to go by.
