A complete list of Caleb’s victims as he targets Will and Jimmy

Caleb Miligan arrived in Emmerdale at the end of 2022, with a big secret and a ruthless plan for revenge! His early plan for vengeance against Kim Tate – the woman he blames for killing Frank Tate – Kim’s former husband and the dad Caleb never knew – went wrong.

But Caleb’s not giving up that easily. In his time in the village he’s taken out a few people as he pursues his various vendettas and plots.

And now he’s got his eye on Jimmy and Will.

So here’s a full list of Caleb’s victims in Emmerdale!

    Kim Tate

Emmerdale viewers were shocked when it was revealed that Caleb’s dad was Frank Tate and he was out for revenge on Frank’s former wife, Kim.

Caleb was determined to take Home Farm from Kim because he thought he was owed it. And he set about trying to destroy Kim.

He befriended Kim, and charmed her into going into business with him, planning to fleece her – but Kim was one step ahead. She got wise to Caleb’s plan, and turned the tables.

    Gabby Thomas

Poor Gabby fell head over heels for handsome, sweet, caring Manny, Nicky. But on their wedding day she discovered she was collateral damage in Caleb’s scheme to get Home Farm from Kim Tate.

She was shocked when Nicky revealed he was gay and had only been pretending to love her in order to get his mitts on her money.

Gabby’s heart was broken and Caleb claimed another victim.

Poor Nicky was manipulated into working for his dad, wooing Gabby, and going along with his plot. He was furious when he found out Caleb had been lying to get him onside – though he eventually forgave his dad for that one. When his mum Ruby arrived in the village, Nicky was horrified by his parents’ behaviour. He left Emmerdale with their relationship on thin ice.

Moira Dingle – another victim for Emmerdale Caleb

Caleb was super helpful when it came to helping with Kyle’s court case, and he well and truly won Moira over with his commitment to the family.

But behind the scenes, Caleb was busy sabotaging Moira’s business, hoping she’d sell the farm. She was heartbroken as she went crawling to Kim, begging her to buy the business. But not as heartbroken as she was when she found out it was Caleb who had been responsible!

    Nate and Tracy’s marriage

Caleb’s steamy affair with married Tracy Robinson shocked the village – but it was her husband Nate who was most distraught! Even though Caleb and Tracy’s passion was short-lived, it led to the end of her marriage and heartache for poor Nate.

    Jai Sharma

Caleb’s well and truly got his claws into Jai – and we’re pretty sure it’s not going to end well! Jai’s gone into business with Caleb, using him to hide his assets from ex-wife Laurel. But given that Caleb is one of the only people in the village less trustworthy than Jai, we reckon Mr Miligan’s about to claim another victim!

    Will Taylor

Will’s vulnerable at the moment after the whole Rose hoo-hah. And let’s not forget, Rose arriving in the village was engineered by Ruby – Caleb’s wife – in an attempt to hit Kim where it hurts – in her heart!

And now it seems Caleb’s after the Haulage yard too. Will’s definitely a Miligan victim!

    Jimmy King

Jimmy’s struggling with bills after being fined over his drivers’ hours, and by HMRC over using red diesel illegally. Of course, both of those fines have been engineered by Emmerdale Caleb, who’s hoping to devalue the business enough that Jimmy’s desperate to sell. Has his plan worked? Is Jimmy yet another victim of Caleb’s vendetta?

Review of the week: Piper’s alive, Ella’s lashing out, and what is Dawn up to?

This week’s Emmerdale review is an emotional rollercoaster – just like the soap itself! We’ve been pulled every which way this week and frankly we don’t know whether we’re happy, sad or just plain confused!

Read on to find out what’s been leaving our heads in a spin in this week’s Emmerdale review.

Tom with Piper the Dog in Emmerdale
Piper’s alive! But Tom’s still evil (Credit: ITV)

    Piper’s alive!

Of course the big revelation this week was that poor Piper, Belle’s beloved pooch, is ALIVE!

We have to admit, we had our suspicions. We’ve been soap fans long enough to know that, in the words of Taylor Swift, ‘no body, no crime’.

But even though we didn’t see Tom run Piper over, we wondered if we were being a bit hopeful. Maybe the soap rules were different for animals. And things did look bleak when Tom brought Piper’s little wicker coffin up to Wishing Well to bury her beside Belle’s Shetland pony, Hamish.

And then! The best twist ever! Piper’s alive! For a second we were thrilled to bits. Except, Tom’s given her away, and Belle still thinks she’s dead. How evil can one man be?! Honestly, THIS is what we mean by an emotional rollercoaster!

Rhona points something out to horrified Ella on her phone in the village
Ella was furious when Amelia posted a photo of her on the salon socials (Credit: ITV)

    Ella lashes out!

We can’t quite get to grips with how we’re supposed to feel about child killer Ella.

On the one hand, she’s done her time and everyone deserves a second chance. On the other – she doesn’t exactly help herself, does she?!

This week, when Gary – the cousin of her victim, Joanne – turned up at Ella’s birthday celebrations, Ella lost it.

Wendy tried to help but Ella lashed out, giving poor Wendy a huge thump in the face and scaring her. It turned out Ella wanted to be sent back to prison – the only real home she’d ever had.

But on top of our conflicted feelings about Ella, we also felt a bit odd about Liam and Manpreet trying to gaslight a frightened and battered Wendy into withdrawing her statement. Ella may have had her reasons, but she still attacked Wendy.

Maybe we just need to get to know Ella better, but for now, the jury’s out on how we feel about this former jailbird.

    Jai and Laurel’s money battle

Jai and Laurel’s divorce is becoming more acrimonious by the day and this week things took a turn. Except we’re not quite sure what’s going on.

Everyone’s lying and scheming and covering things up and now Caleb seems to be involved and we’re completely baffled.

All we really know is we’re totally Team Laurel!

Will looks worried at his phone in Home Farm

What’s Dawn up to in our Emmerdale review?

So Rose vanished, Will thinks Kim is responsible, Kim thinks Will did it, and she’s gone off to Dubai which makes Will even more suspicious that she’s the guilty party.

Meanwhile, Will’s sending Dawn messages from Rose’s phone and fretting, while Dawn worries about where her mum is.

    Except.

In Friday’s episode we discovered that Dawn’s been lying. She’s setting Will up for something and we’re not sure who’s in on it? Is this Dawn working with Rose to take revenge on her dad?

Or is it Dawn and Kim who have teamed up? Could Dawn, Kim AND Rose all be in on it? What even is IT? We’re so confused – and looking forward to next week’s episodes when hopefully it’ll all be explained.

Jasmine Thomas: Romance, crime and murder!

Jasmine Thomas, the troubled teen daughter of vicar Ashley Thomas, is back in Classic Emmerdale. She’s been suspended from school, and she wants to stay in the village.

So what better time than to have a look at everything Jasmine got up to while she was living in Emmerdale – and what’s happened to actress Jenna Coleman since!

    Jasmine arrives in Emmerdale

Troublesome teenager Jasmine came to the village for the summer, to stay with her uncle, vicar Ashley Thomas.

She befriended Debbie Dingle but had to get back to school. After a quick return to the village when she was suspended, Jasmine was eventually expelled and came back to do her A Levels in Emmerdale.

    Jasmine and Debbie

Debbie wasn’t the most stable of teenagers herself so she and Jasmine become firm friends.

When Debbie kissed Jasmine, hoping to get a reaction from dad Cain, the teens realised their friendship went deeper and they became a couple.

    Jasmine and Cain

But where Dingles go, trouble follows, and Jasmine was soon drawn into Debbie’s feud with her dad, Cain.

Cain seduced teenage Jasmine to spite poor Debbie. Jasmine got pregnant, and told Debbie everything.

And then Sadie King got involved – which never ended well. She paid for Jasmine to have an abortion. Debbie spilled the beans to Cain – who’d wanted Jasmine to keep the baby – and for a while everything was very messy!

    Jasmine’s journalism career

After school, Jasmine wanted to become a journalist. She landed a job and began investigating the Tom King’s murder. She helped Jamie Hope clear his name, but she didn’t find the real killer.

Later, she started investigating the Macfarlanes – a local crime family – which is where things got a bit tricky.

    Shane Doyle

Jasmine met policeman Shane at the pub and wanted to get to know him so he could help with her story. But Shane wanted to get to know Jasmine for other reasons!

He managed to split up her and boyfriend Jake Dolan, by provoking Jake and then arresting him, and making Jasmine think he had cheated on her.

But still Jasmine was focused on exposing the Macfarlane family.

When Jasmine found out Shane had arrested a woman called Danielle Hutch, with links to the family, she was thrilled. And when Shane said he let her go because he felt sorry for her, she was so pleased with him that she slept with him.

But as Jasmine asked more questions about the arrest, Shane became aggressive and when Jasmine searched his flat she found large amounts of cash.

Shane found Jasmine, there was a struggle and he tried to rape her – she fought back, whacking him with a chair leg and killing him!

    Cover up!

Jasmine, Debbie and Eli Dingle wrapped up Shane’s body and dumped him in a lake. But when his body was discovered accidentally by Victoria Sugden, Jasmine started to realise she had to confess – especially when innocent Ross Kirk was arrested for the crime.

Debbie persuaded Jasmine not to own up, and the pair declared their love for one another. Aww – but it was short-lived.

Ross was released and Eli was arrested instead. Jasmine and Debbie decided to go on the run, but Debbie was arrested.

    Everlasting love?

Jasmine hid for a little while, then when Debbie was in court, she burst in and announced she was the one who’d killed Shane!

Jasmine was found guilty of manslaughter and sentenced to four years behind bars. She and Debbie swore their love would last forever, but as far as we know, Debbie’s forgotten all about her!

    Who played Jasmine Thomas?

Jasmine was played by Jenna-Louise Coleman (now known as Jenna Coleman). It was her first big break and she chose to take the role in Emmerdale instead of going to drama school as she’d planned.

    Where is Jenna Coleman now?

Jenna Coleman’s career has gone from strength to strength since she waved goodbye to Emmerdale.

She played Clara Oswald in Doctor Who – companion to the eleventh (Matt Smith) and twelfth (Peter Capaldi) Doctors.

Jenna starred as the young queen in the ITV drama Victoria and has appeared in many other television shows including The Cry, The Serpent and The Jetty.

She’s been on stage in the West End and has appeared in an episode of Inside No.9.

This summer Jenna announced she is expecting her first child with her partner Jamie Childs, a British director and filmmaker.

Sadie King: Her money-making scams, marriage disasters and steamy affairs!

Sadie King in Emmerdale was the icy cold ruthless first wife of Jimmy King. Jimmy’s current wife Nicola can be nasty when she wants to be but frankly she is a pussycat compared with Sadie!

    Sadie King in Emmerdale

The iconic ice queen Sadie King arrived in Emmerdale in 2004 shortly after the Kings first came to the village. Jimmy was desperate to start a family with his glamorous wife, but she wasn’t interested and was secretly on contraception behind Jimmy’s back.

When Jimmy found out, he asked for a divorce. Annoyed at the rejection, Sadie started a steamy affair with younger man Robert Sugden.

And that’s when things started to get really messy.

    Cheating Charity

At the time, Charity was engaged to King patriarch, Tom (grandad of evil vet Tom King). Knowing her position in the King family was at threat if she divorced Jimmy, Sadie realised she had to make sure Charity didn’t take her place at the top of the King family tree.

So she decided to stop the wedding! She paid Cain – who she was sleeping with – to seduce Charity and take photos, which she showed Tom on the wedding day. Tom – not surprisingly called off the nuptials.

BUT – Charity didn’t take kindly to being made a fool of, so she slept with Jimmy and recorded the whole thing – including him revealing all about Sadie’s scheming. Of course, Charity played the video to the family at Jimmy’s birthday party, things all fell apart and Tom disowned both Jimmy and Sadie.

Does Matthew Stop the Wedding of Sadie King (Patsy Kensit) to Alasdair Sinclair (Ray Coulthard)

    Sadie’s affairs

Sadie and Cain teamed up to blackmail various rich villagers. She managed to worm her way back into the family business, and got Zoe Tate to sell Home Farm to Tom.

But then Sadie made a mistake when she started an affair with Matthew King – Jimmy’s brother. When Jimmy found out, he told his dad who gave Matthew an ultimatum – the family business, or Sadie.

    He chose the business!

    Sadie Sinclair

Sadie married Alasdair Sinclair on the rebound, but Matthew declared his love for her, and she soon ditched Alasdair again (fickle, right?!).

She encouraged Matthew to buy a haulage business and planted false information to put his brothers off making a bid.

With Matthew disowned by his family, Sadie paid Cain to sabotage the Kings’ River development. When the show home was unveiled, Tom announced Matthew and Sadie’s engagement, much to Jimmy’s fury.

But he soon had something else to worry about as an explosion ripped through the house, killing Dawn Woods and two others and injuring Jimmy. Matthew was furious about Sadie’s involvement and broke off their romance.

But that wasn’t the end of Sadie’s scheming. She wanted to get even with the Kings so she and Cain plotted to kidnap Tom for a hefty ransom. Sadie posed as a hostage too.

Cain appeared to shoot Sadie, which made the Kings cough up. But that was all part of the scam! She met Cain at a private airfield ready to make their getaway. But it was Cain who got away – taking all the money with him!

    Sadie left Emmerdale in disappointment.

    Who played Sadie King?

Sadie was played by Cool Britannia icon Patsy Kensit. She was already a household name thanks to her time as a popstar and appearances in films including Lethal Weapon 2.

Patsy joined Emmerdale as Sadie in 2004 until 2006.

After she left, she played Faye Morton in Holby City, and in 2023, she played Emma Harding in EastEnders.

In 2010, Patsy took part in Strictly Come Dancing. She was paired with Robin Windsor, and finished seventh. EastEnders star Kara Tointon won that series.

Patsy has also appeared on Celebrity Big Brother and Loose Women. She’s been married four times and has two children.

  • Scott Windsor: his tangled love life and very bad life choices!

Scott Windsor: his tangled love life and very bad life choices!

Scott Windsor is out of prison in Classic Emmerdale, and vowing he’s turned over a new leaf! But is the bad boy of Emmerdale really a reformed character? Hmm…

In the meantime, we thought it was time for a quick recap of Scott Windsor in Emmerdale’s rollercoaster life in the village, his complicated family tree, and his very rocky love life!

The Windsors arrive'<br />LtoR Scott Windsor [Toby Cockrell], Viv Windsor [Deena Payne], Kelly Windsor [Adele Silva], Vic Windsor [Alun Lewis]<br /

    Scott Windsor in Emmerdale

Young Scott Windsor arrived in Emmerdale in 1993, with his family – mum Viv, stepdad Vic, stepsister Kelly, and half-sister Donna.

But bad luck followed and first Scott was traumatised by the plane crash late in 1993, and by the reappearance of his dad Reg. Reg took Viv hostage and was shot by the police.

After that drama, Scott fell in with a bad crowd, and eventually left the village to join the army.

    Return to the village

When Scott came back to Emmerdale in 1998, he fell in love with his stepsister, Kelly.

She was engaged to Roy Glover and even tried to take her own life after the stress of her affair and discovering she was pregnant proved too much.

    Chloe and Scott in Emmerdale

    Scott, Chloe and Zoe

Scott began dating Chloe Atkinson and they moved in together. But as it turned out, Scott had a one-night stand with Zoe Tate. Zoe had been suffering from schizophrenia at the time and couldn’t remember their liaison. So when she found out she was pregnant, it was surprise!

To everyone’s shock, Scott was accused of rape, because Zoe was a lesbian, but the police dropped the charges. Zoe’s brother, Chris Tate, launched a hate campaign against Scott. He even paid someone to sleep with him and then accuse him of rape.

Zoe managed to get the charges against Scott dropped, on condition he signed away his rights to access to baby Jean.

But after Chris’s death, they decided to make the effort to be co-parents.

    Scott and Dawn

Continuing a trend, Scott fell for his new stepsister, Dawn Woods. She left her husband for him. But after getting into a fight, Scott split up with Dawn, though they later got back together.

    Scott Windsor attacks Zoe Tate

    Kidnap!

Meanwhile, Scott was worried about Zoe’s plans to leave for New Zealand with Jean. Things got very nasty and Zoe ended up attacking Scott. She was charged with attempted murder but the case collapsed.

Struggling to cope, Scott kidnapped Zoe, her nephew Joseph and little Jean. Luckily his mum Viv talked him round but Scott was sent to jail – and Zoe went to New Zealand.

    Get out of jail

When Scott was released, he was upset to find Dawn was dating Danny Daggert.

He tried to win Dawn back but she turned him down. So, vengeful Scott reported Dawn for benefit fraud and she was sent to jail. When Dawn was killed shortly after her release, Scott felt guilty.

His last hurrah in the village was a short-lived romance with his teen apprentice Debbie Dingle. They teamed up on Rodney Blackstock and were humiliated when he turned the tables.

Scott Windsor left Emmerdale in 2007.

    Who played Scott Windsor?

Teenager Scott was played by Toby Cockerell when he first came to the village.

After he left and returned, the role was recast and Ben Freeman took the part of Scott Windsor.

Ben’s off-screen life was almost as dramatic as his alter ego’s life in Emmerdale.

His relationship with Amy Nuttall, who played Chloe, put them in the pages of the gossip mags. And in 2007, he was accused of rape. Ben was cleared of the charges but didn’t return to Emmerdale. Instead he concentrated on his musical theatre career

In 2021, he appeared in EastEnders as drug dealer Caleb Malone.

  • Review of the week: Tom’s shocking revenge, wedding bells, and a secret revealed

Review of the week: Tom’s shocking revenge, wedding bells, and a secret revealed

Well! There is a lot to say in this week’s Emmerdale review! Because what a week of Emmerdale that was!

Even in such an action-packed week, of course one story stands out: Tom’s evil attempt to hurt Belle by hurting Piper!

It was gasp-out-loud shocking and we are desperately hoping that Piper pulls through.

And that was only a small part of the dramatic events in this week’s Emmerdale. Read on for the rest of our Emmerdale review of the week to find out what we thought.

Paddy and Mandy’s super-quick wedding in our Emmerdale review

After a few hiccups, Paddy and Mandy finally made it to the altar for the second time, 25 years after they first tied the knot. They raced through their vows in record speed so they could get it all done before vicar Charles had to rush off again.

And that was really the theme of the whole thing – speed. Mandy’s money troubles only emerged a couple of weeks ago, she set up her fin-dom alter-ego Madame Diamante Dales last week, and paid off a chunk of her debts almost immediately.

Marlon, Paddy and Chas look at Bear's phone worriedly in Emmerdale spoilers
Bear exposed Mandy’s alter-ego! (Credit: ITV)

    The truth is out!

But within days, her future father-in-law Bear had found out, given her an ultimatum to stop or he would tell Paddy. Mandy agreed, but Bear set her up, exposed her – in a manner of speaking – and the truth was out.

Paddy decided the wedding was off, but a quick chat with Mandy later and everything was on again.

Our heads were spinning with the speed of it all. But we can’t deny it’s nice to see Paddy and Mandy happy. Let’s just hope it lasts!

John Sugden looks brooding in press picture
Newcomer John has intrigued us (Credit: ITV)

    Sugden secrets

Normally a newcomer to the village who’s hiding a secret leaves us cold. But to our own surprise, we’re finding John Sugden rather intriguing!

It’s partly the casting. Oliver Farnworth is bringing hints of both Jack and Robert Sugden to the role, and physically he’s perfect to be a Sugden. (We reserve the right to take all of this back in a future Emmerdale review if John turns out not to be a family member after all!)

John Sugden's dog tag with the name Aidan Moore in Emmerdale review
Why does John have a dog tag with the name Aidan Moore on it? (Credit: ITV)

    More secrets!

Anyway, John’s prickly nature and downright hatred of Mack has won us over (come on, Mack’s very annoying!). And then Victoria found his army dog tag. He said he didn’t want to talk about that part of his life, which is interesting in itself.

But it turned out the dog tag wasn’t even his! Instead it bears the name Aidan Moore. WHO is Aidan? Why does John have his dog tag? We’re definitely invested in this now.

    Vinny and Gabby

We loved Liv but it’s nice to see Vinny finding some happiness after so much heartache. And who knows, maybe he’ll calm Gabby down a bit. We think this unlikely match could just work.

    Poor Piper! (Credit: ITV/Emmerdale Insider)

    Tom and Piper

OMG, where to begin with this one?! We still feel a bit sick just thinking about it. Having tormented Belle while she was in Scotland with endless messages, her abusive husband Tom was determined to keep up his harassment when she returned.

First, he bought her a car, which everyone thought was totally lovely – except Belle herself (and Charity, who’s thankfully still suspicious). Belle turned down his gift, but Tom wasn’t finished.

He let himself into the cottage, bringing flowers and a pint of milk for Belle, and acting like everything was normal. He told Belle they should get back together, and when she said no, he wasn’t happy.

Tom tried his old tricks, telling Belle she wasn’t strong enough to make such a big decision. He even threatened to take his own life. It was tough to watch! But Belle stayed strong.

Tom and Belle in Emmerdale review
Tom was soon back to his old tricks (Credit: ITV)

    More threats

As usual, though, Tom had the upper hand – chillingly watching Belle through his hidden cameras. He could even see her undressing in the bathroom and later watched her sleep FROM INSIDE HER HOUSE. We’re into horror movie territory here!

And that wasn’t even the worst bit. In Friday’s episode, Belle stood up to Tom in public, humiliating him in the pub. And so Tom took terrible revenge.

He drove off in the Mini he’d bought for Belle and saw Piper in the road. Did he stop to make sure she was safe? No. He. Did. Not.

Instead, he put his foot down and accelerated towards the helpless pup.

Did you gasp out loud? We definitely did! Will evil Tom be the hero for saving the pooch’s life, or will he give Belle a shoulder to cry on if Piper doesn’t make it? Either way, it’s not looking good for Belle!

Until Liv’s tragic death, that is.

Vinny’s tentatively beginning a relationship with maneater Gabby Thomas and that’s been tricky too, due to his history with Liv – who wasn’t just his wife, but also Gabby’s best friend.

But Paul was hiding his gambling addiction, and began abusing Vinny too.

On the morning of Mandy and Paul’s wedding, brave Liv confronted her boyfriend’s abuser – he went for her just as Jimmy King accidentally drove a truck into the wedding barn where they were. Liv forced a confession out of an injured Paul and walked away. Paul later died from his injuries.

The guilt of not getting Paul out ate away at Liv and she turned to alcohol to cope. It split her and Vinny up for a while, but they found their way back to each other eventually.

    Liv’s sexuality

Before she met Vinny, Liv had struggled with her feelings around sex and attraction. She eventually realised she was asexual and opened up to her family and friends. When she met Vinny, he was fully supportive and never pressurised her or questioned her. Which is why he’s exploring totally new territory in his relationship with Gabby!

After Liv was imprisoned for the murder of Ben Tucker, Aaron’s boyfriend, her family disowned her. But Vinny refused to tow the Dingle line and fought tooth and nail to get her freed.

Once the truth about Meena being the killer was revealed, Liv was out and she and Vinny resumed their romance. They decided to get married, but agreed to do so in secret so as not to involve their OTT family.

Mandy was heartbroken when she found out they had eloped and feeling bad, they agreed to a Dingle knees up to celebrate after all.

    Liv’s death

In October 2022, a storm raged through Emmerdale, bringing dangerously high winds to the village.

Liv was on her way to look after Eve while Chas had an illicit hook-up with Al Chapman, when a caravan came untethered in the winds. It trapped Liv against a wall and she suffered catastrophic injuries.

In heartbreaking scenes, paramedics told Liv there was nothing they could do to save her. Her lower body was crushed and the caravan was keeping her alive.  Aaron came to say goodbye and then Vinny spent his final, sad moments with his wife.

    Moving on

Now Vinny’s trying to build a relationship with Gabby, and we reckon he deserves a bit of happiness after all he’s been through.

Keepers Cottage in Emmerdale – how many bedrooms does it really have as John moves in?

Keepers Cottage in Emmerdale is one of the village’s most iconic locations. So many Dale icons have lived there from Paddy Kirk to Betty Eagleton and Laurel Thomas.

Now it’s owned by Victoria Sugden, who’s just persuaded new-found half-brother John to move in too.

Which left us scratching our heads a bit because Keepers really isn’t that big! So how many bedrooms does it have and who lives there?

How many bedrooms does Keepers Cottage have in Emmerdale?

We’ve done a bit of digging and we’ve discovered that Keepers is a three-bedroom cottage.

So that left us even more confused!

    Where is Keepers Cottage?

The little cottage is next door to the cafe on Main Street in Emmerdale.

The past residents of Keepers Cottage

In 1995, Seth Armstrong and Betty Eagleton moved into Keepers. They lived there until 2003, and because they took in lodgers, lots of Emmerdale characters lived there, too.

Paddy lived there for a while, so did Laurel Thomas, Sandy Thomas, Alan Turner and Terry Woods.

Victoria lived there with Betty and when dad Jack died, she used her inheritance to buy the cottage. When Betty left Emmerdale, Vic’s then-husband Adam moved in.

And when Adam left, Vic was joined by friend Rebecca White.

    Who lives there now?

After Rebecca moved away, Victoria rented a room to Amy Wyatt and her mum, Kerry.

Amy’s now married to Matty Dingle and they both live at Keepers, and when Kerry returned from her stint on the cruise ship, she also came back to the cottage.

Hmm, it’s already feeling a bit snug! Plus, of course, there’s Victoria’s four-year-old son, Harry.

    And now John, too!

So, we’re assuming Victoria has her own room, and she mentioned Harry’s room when she was talking to John, so that makes two. One for newly weds Amy and Matty, and another for Kerry and that’s four… Plus now there’s John to consider.

Has Keepers magically sprung a couple of new bedrooms, Hogwarts-style? Is this another mystery John Sugden’s brought with him?!

What’s John Sugden’s secret? 6 theories about the mysterious Aidan Moore

John Sugden has arrived in Emmerdale and well and truly made his mark on everyone he’s come across.

But now it’s been revealed he might not be who he says he is. What?!

    Mystery man

In last night’s episode, Victoria found a box belonging to John in her son Harry’s room. When she handed it over to her new-found brother he opened it to reveal a dog tag.

He admitted he had been in the army but told Vic in no uncertain terms that he didn’t want to talk about that time in his life – it was over.

    Fair enough.

Except what Victoria didn’t see was that the dog tag John was holding didn’t have his own name etched into it. Instead it said Aidan Moore.

    Who is Aidan Moore?

As if John’s prickly nature, feud with Mack and Aaron, and determination to leave Emmerdale as soon as he can weren’t enough to keep viewers gripped, now there’s another side to the newcomer’s mysterious character!

We’ve been sifting through the theories about who Aidan Moore could be – and why John has his dog tag!

    1. Links to a village villain?

Those of you with good memories will recall that Dawn’s evil ex – and dad to Clemmie and Lucas – was called Alex Moore. Could John have a link with him? Could this mean Alex returning to the village? (Let’s hope not, eh? Dawn’s got enough on her plate!).

    2. John’s stepdad

One of the reasons John gave for never tracking down his biological dad Jack Sugden, was that he had a dad in his life. Could Aidan Moore be that stepdad – good or bad?

    3. Ex-lover

John’s single now – at least we’re assuming so given his hook-up with Aaron in the back of his van – but could Aidan be an ex-lover? Possibly someone John lost during his time in the army?

    4. Robert’s cellmate

Robert Sugden – John’s half-brother – is currently in jail, serving time for attacking Vic’s rapist (and dad to Harry) Lee Posner.

Some fans think it’s possible John – or Aidan – met Robert in prison and is a con man trying to worm his way into the Sugden family.

    5. Stolen identity

Victoria has already commented that John is like their dad, Jack. And we reckon she’s right – John is definitely all Sugden. But are we being led down a dead-end? Some fans have been busy musing that John could BE Aidan Moore. “Is he not the real John Sugden?” said one fan.

    6. Another brother?

Hats off to the Emmerdale fan on Reddit who delved into the archives and discovered a character called Karen Moore who lived in Beckindale – as Emmerdale was called back then – in the 1980s. She had a fling with Jack AND Jack’s brother Joe and moved away in 1986. Could she be Aidan’s mum? And could Aidan be yet another Sugden brother?!

As Mandy Dingle gets ready to walk down the aisle with Paddy (again!), we recap her disastrous love life!

Mandy Dingle is about to tie the knot with Paddy Kirk, making it wedding number four for the bolshy beautician (though wedding three ended in disaster and no actual marriage), and the second time she’s married Paddy.

So with her – ahem – chequered history of marital bliss, will it be fourth time lucky for Ms Dingle? Or will her dabbling in findom camera work mean it’s not happily ever after?

We thought now would be a good time to take a look back at Mandy Dingle’s disastrous love life.

    Here’s our round-up.

    Paddy Kirk

When Mandy came to the village for the (very dramatic) wedding of her cousin Tina to Luke McAllister. She immediately hit it off with vet Paddy Kirk and they started a romance. But Paddy’s mum, Barbara, did NOT approve of Ms Dingle.

She tried to break up the couple and knowing the Dingle family had money troubles, Barbara eventually went as far as paying Mandy to marry her cousin Butch Dingle!

Butch Dingle and Mandy in Emmerdale

Butch had always secretly loved Mandy, so he was well up for their romance, but Mandy couldn’t hide her feelings for Paddy. They started an affair and Butch’s heart was broken. Aww!

    Paddy Kirk (again!)

Once she’d broken up with Butch, Mandy rekindled her romance with Paddy and the pair walked down the aisle in a traditional Dingle wedding 25 years ago. They were happy for a while, but Mandy’s dad, Caleb, got sick and Mandy went to look after him.

While she was spending time with Caleb in Plymouth, Mandy began an affair with Caleb’s carer, Neil.

Paddy forgave her, but he eventually realised she’d only come back out of guilt and the pair broke up again. Mandy left the village.

She did return briefly to try to win Paddy back but realised he was happy with Emily Dingle – Butch’s widow – and left again.

    Paul Ashdale

In 2019, Mandy came back to Emmerdale with adoptive son Vinny. At first viewers thought Vinny might be Paddy’s son, but it was revealed that he wasn’t even Mandy’s biological son – instead she had brought him up since he was tiny.

Vinny’s dad – and Mandy’s ex – Paul Ashdale arrived in the village and he and Mandy rekindled their romance.

Paul was a gambling addict, but he promised Mandy he’d stopped. However, that was just one of his many lies. He was also abusive and violent and son Vinny was the target.

Meanwhile, Mandy and Paul were planning a wedding. On their big day, Liv Flaherty found out the truth and confronted Paul in the barn where the wedding was taking place.

Paul lashed out at Liv, but just as he did, Jimmy King crashed his lorry into the barn. Paul was trapped in the wreckage and begged Liv to help – she forced him to confess to beating up Paul and then walked away.

When the barn exploded, Jimmy, Liv and Paul were injured. Paul died in hospital. Mandy was heartbroken – and even more devastated when she found out the truth about Paul.

After Jimmy crashed into the barn, his guilt was overwhelming and he turned to Mandy for support. She was there for him and they began to connect emotionally.

As Jimmy faced court over the accident, convinced he was going to prison, Mandy read out out statement to the judge supporting him. Jimmy was so grateful, he kissed Mandy.

Things didn’t go any further and Jimmy went back to Nicola with his tail between his legs. And although she gave him a hard time, she eventually forgave him.

    Paddy Kirk (again, again!)

When Mandy first returned, Paddy was happily married to Chas Dingle. When they split due to Chas having an affair with Al Chapman, Paddy struggled with his mental health. Mandy supported him and eventually they got back together.

Now their second wedding – 25 years after the first – is coming up. But Mandy’s hiding her money troubles from her fiancé, as well as not being entirely honest about how she’s earning enough to pay her bills!

So will the wedding go ahead? Only time will tell!
