Emmerdale fans livid over Christmas Day episode shake-up: ‘Total disgrace!’

ITV has revealed its Christmas Day schedule and Emmerdale fans are furious over the show airing that day.

Christmas is traditionally a big time for the soaps, with viewers looking forward to storylines that have been building up over the year. And with show boss Iain MacLeod recently promising the “most exciting” Christmas in Emmerdale history, the stakes are pretty high.

So when it was revealed this week that the soap will only air for half an hour on Christmas Day, it left a bad taste in many fans’ throats.

Emmerdale to air on Christmas Day

It has been confirmed that Emmerdale will air every night across the Christmas week on ITV. On Monday December 23 it will be on in it’s usual 7.30pm slot for half an hour. On Christmas Eve, it moves back to 7pm, but still for half an hour.

Then on Christmas Day Emmerdale will air at 6.30pm. This is an hour earlier than it usually shows. And it will only be on for half an hour.

Boxing Day we will get a full hour-length episode starting at 6.30pm and then on Friday December 27 it’s back to 30 minutes at 7.30pm.

Although this sticks to the soap’s usual amount of episodes, many fans have been left annoyed that there’s only a half an hour episode on Christmas Day.

    Fans react

“Emmerdale only on for 30 mins whilst Corrie gets a full one-hour slot,” said one. Someone replied to them: “Not fair.”

Another added: “Especially when it’s a Kim Tate Christmas. At least there’s an hour installment on Boxing Day.”

“No hour-long Emmerdale on Christmas Day again. Total disgrace,” raged one more.

    Emmerdale confirms a Kim Christmas

Show boss Iain MacLeod told Digital Spy back in September: “This Christmas, there is a huge surprise arrival on Christmas Day. As well as some life or death jeopardy on Christmas Day – but obviously there will be festive brilliance as we do every year – but I think it is one of the most exciting Christmases that I can remember on Emmerdale this year!”

He continued to promise “incredibly heartbreaking family drama with plenty of Dingle action. There is also some classic gothic antics at Home Farm – some skullduggery!”

We’ve also been assured Belle will be in a much better place by Christmas. Phew!

And new spoilers have now revealed Kim Tate will be at the centre of Christmas 2024. Will is plotting against his wife after they recently reconciled. He’s in cahoots with her business advisor Peter and a mystery person to bring Kim down. And it’s all set to take off at Christmas.

Will asks her to renew their vows on Christmas Day and Kim is overjoyed. As she puts extra effort into making the festive season one to remember, does she know Will is plotting against her? Or will she be left heartbroken when she finds out?

For his part, Will is at least starting to feel a wave of guilt. But is it enough to make him stop the takedown altogether?

  • Is Brenda and Eric’s wedding off? Here’s everything we know about their fate following cryptocurrency scam

Is Brenda and Eric’s wedding off? Here’s everything we know about their fate following cryptocurrency scam

Eric Pollard has lost everything in Emmerdale – all his money, all of Brenda Walker‘s money, and now it looks like he’s about to lose Brenda, too.

But is it really over for the cute couple? Is their Christmas wedding definitely off?

It’s definitely not looking good. Here’s everything we know.

Emmerdale's Eric and Brenda talking in the shop
Will Brenda and Eric get a happy ending? (Credit: ITV)

Brenda and Eric’s wedding is on in Emmerdale

Eric was baffled when the increase in his investment wasn’t showing on his cryptocurrency account. He tried to speak to his finance advisor about it but got cut off – and that’s when Eric started to worry.

Elsewhere, Brenda had found the perfect wedding dress, but when she went to pay her card was declined. Eric told her it was a technical problem at the bank and fibbed that he’d spoken to someone about it.

But of course he was lying – he’d invested everything he had, and everything Brenda had, too, in the cryptocurrency scam.

In desperation he turned to the racing pages of the newspaper, hoping to win back the money he’d lost, when he was interrupted by Liam who clocked him taking cash from the till.

Worried Liam warned him that a rare side effect of his new medication was that it could make him act recklessly.

Backed into a corner, Eric confessed that he’d lost the cash, and had secured a loan on his house. Liam begged him to come off the medication, but Pollard insisted he was going to the bookies and threatened to call the police!

    The wedding’s off!

Back home, Eric returned triumphant with Brenda’s wedding dress all bought and paid for. But it turned out Liam had spoken to Brenda and explained what her husband was up to. And she’d had a chat with the bank and found out the truth about what had happened to her savings.

A clearly devastated Brenda asked her fiancé what he was thinking, blowing her life savings. Eric tried to get round her by showing her his winnings because his horse had come in. But Brenda wasn’t listening. She told Eric his betrayal was so deep, she couldn’t get over it!

The wedding’s off but the couple are on!

Except she did! By today’s episode, Brenda was telling Eric that they were in it together. Though Eric was still convinced his money troubles were all just a big misunderstanding.

But later, a shocked and upset Eric told Brenda and Jacob that the number for his account manager was no longer in service and finally accepted he’d been scammed. And Brenda revealed that she’d already called the police who’d said there was nothing they could do.

Brenda had a chat with Liam, who told her he was convinced it was all a side effect of Pollard’s medication. But it’s too late now. “He’s ruined us,” she said. “Financially we’re sunk.”

But Liam assured her what Eric needed was her love and support. It looked bleak, though, when Brenda asked him what she needed.

And when she saw Eric in the street, she pointed out that he owned the house and everything she’d worked for was gone. Jacob suggested to his horrified grandfather that the only way to pay back Brenda’s money was to sell the shop.

So that’s exactly what he promised to do.

    Eric looks shocked
Jacob told Eric he needs to sell the shop (Credit: ITV)

    Brenda and Eric are off!

But Brenda had something else on her mind. She’d realised Eric was on his new meds when he proposed and she wanted to know if he meant it.

He admitted that he’d never intended to marry again, devastating poor Brenda, who assumed all the lovely things he’d said when he proposed were lies.

Later though, Eric told her he meant every word. He told her he didn’t mind if they got married or not, but said he didn’t know what he would do if Brenda ever left him.

    Brenda chats to Eric seriously?
    Will Brenda forgive Eric?

Brenda and Eric are on in Emmerdale – or are they?!

But then – hooray – Brenda assured him she wasn’t going anywhere.

And this makes us nervous! Because it’s been reported that actress Lesley Dunlop, who plays Brenda, is leaving her role after 16 years as Ms Walker.

So does this mean the wedding’s off or on? We’re really not sure now!

  • Steph and Ruby to get pregnant at same time? New fan theory predicts

Steph and Ruby to get pregnant at same time? New fan theory predicts

A new Emmerdale fan theory has suggested that Ruby Fox-Miligan and her daughter Steph could both find themselves pregnant at the same time.

Ruby and Steph were recently reunited after 10 years without seeing one another. Following the death of Ruby’s estranged mother, Steph arrived in the Dales to claim her inheritance.

The atmosphere between mother and daughter was originally frosty, but they appear to be getting their relationship back on track. Though fans have now predicted a bump in the road, or rather, two bumps in the road…

Ruby slapped her daughter (Credit: ITV)

    Ruby and Steph’s relationship

Steph Miligan arrived in Emmerdale last month. She hadn’t seen her parents in 10 years, so it was no surprise that things were hostile when Steph and Ruby came face-to-face for the first time.

Steph felt that her mother abandoned her and shipped her off to boarding school because she couldn’t be bothered. A conversation about Steph’s childhood resulted in the two women arguing, culminating in Ruby slapping her daughter.

The two women have reconciled somewhat and are working through their issues. Though this hasn’t been helped by the arrival of Ruby’s estranged dad Anthony, who shared a cancer diagnosis with his family.

Steph and Ruby pregnancy fan theory

Despite being married to Caleb, Ruby recently had a fling with his brother Cain Dingle. While Steph spent the night with Ross Barton.

Fans have been speculating that the two women could fall pregnant at the same time. After a fan on Reddit asked: “Who thinks Steph is gonna get preggers with her and Ross’s baby?” another fan suggested that Ruby will also be pregnant and “Caleb will realise the morning-after pill packaging he found in the trash was not Steph’s.”

A third fan went one step further and suggested Ross could be the father of both babies, writing: “I think he’ll have both Ruby and Steph up the duff at the same time.” The poster expanded on their theory and wrote: “I mean he was in love with Debbie around the same time her mum gave birth to his son, Moses!! Don’t get why Debbie didn’t get pregnant as well!! Would have been a bigger thing then!!”

What a turn for the books that would be!

Harvey Rogerson shows off his cooking skills: ‘He’s really developing his independence’

Emmerdale star Harvey Rogerson has been winning over fans with his cooking skills.

Over on Harvey’s X and Instagram pages, a picture was shared showing the actor with a frying pan. The pan contained a tasty looking omelette.

In addition, the caption on the snap read: “Loves a bit of Spanish omelette for breakfast … Harvey loves to cook and he is actually really developing his independence skills … he makes fantastic scrambled eggs and the best brew in the house! Happy Tuesday everyone!”

Meanwhile, fans praised Harvey on his efforts, with one writing: “Well done Harvey, that looks delicious.” Another fan said: “Amazing Harvey, look at that omelette, looks fab, enjoy your breakfast and have a luvly day,” while another added: “Well done Harvey, that looks really yummy.”

    Harvey Rogerson’s time in Emmerdale

Harvey is the third actor to play the part of Leo Goskirk. He took on the role of Leo under sad circumstances. Previous star Harry Whittaker sadly died aged three, in 2014.

Leo is the son of Marlon Dingle and Rhona Goskirk and half brother of April Windsor. During her pregnancy, Rhona was informed that the baby had Down syndrome. However, she, Marlon and her new partner Paddy Kirk decided to raise the child together.

Rhona and Marlon eventually reunited, but Paddy remained a father figure in Leo’s life. Other storylines have seen Leo hit his sister April, be bullied at school and act as best man at his mum’s wedding.

Having been born in May 2011, Leo is now 13 and has become a fan favourite on the ITV soap.

  • Ruby for alcoholism storyline? Fans express concern over her drinking: ‘It’s all she does’

Ruby for alcoholism storyline? Fans express concern over her drinking: ‘It’s all she does’

Emmerdale fans have noticed that Ruby Fox-Miligan seems to have a drink in her hand more often than not and have expressed concern for her wellbeing.

It has been an action packed year for Ruby and her go to coping mechanism appears to be to reach for the bottle.

Now fans are wondering if an alcoholism storyline is on the way for the fan favourite character.

It’s been a big year for Ruby (Credit: ITV)

What’s been going on with Ruby in Emmerdale?

Ruby arrived in the Dales in January and quickly made her presence known when she revealed her husband Caleb’s affair with Tracy to the whole village.

Caleb and Ruby reunited, but it hasn’t been plain sailing and recently Ruby cheated on Caleb with his brother Cain.

The past couple of months have also seen Ruby deal with being reunited with her estranged family. After Ruby’s mum Helen died, daughter Steph turned up, who hadn’t seen her parents in over 10 years. It was a tough reunion, though mother and daughter appear to be working through their issues.

Ruby’s dad Anthony then arrived to a hostile reception from his daughter – who he hadn’t seen in 30 years.

Anthony announced that he had prostate cancer, but Ruby is still apprehensive about getting to know him. An upcoming flashback episode will reveal what happened to Ruby during her teenage years – and might go some way to explaining why she feels the need to drink.

Fans have noticed that Ruby often has a drink in her hand (Credit: ITV)

Does Ruby have a drink problem?

Fans have noticed that whenever Ruby is stressed – which is a lot – she reaches for the alcohol. And lately, she never seems to be without a glass of wine.

Taking to X, one fan wrote: “Ruby drinks all day. Ruby gets out of bed and open a bottle of wine.” Another fan joked: “I want to live with Ruby. Wine on tap.”

A third viewer said: “Jeez, does all Ruby do all day every day is drink and not do any hard graft?!” While another said at the start of a recent episode: “Hoorahhh Ruby has already opened a bottle.”

Others believe a drink problem is on the cards for Ruby, with one viewer saying: “Is Ruby an alcoholic? She’s always drinking?”

Could they be right and will Emmerdale explore a drink problem for Ruby?

  • As Paula Lane ‘confirms’ soap exit, what was the point of Ella?

As Paula Lane ‘confirms’ soap exit, what was the point of Ella?

At the end of last week, reports circulated that Paula Lane would be leaving Emmerdale as Ella Forster at the beginning of 2025.

This news looked to be ‘confirmed’ by the actress herself as her own Spotlight page stated that she would finish filming for the soap in February next year.

And, as this Spotlight page is linked in Paula’s official Instagram bio – it all looks to be rather legit… But, we’re not impressed with the news.

    Emmerdale's Paula Lane serious
Paula’s Spotlight page revealed the news (Credit: ITV/ Composite EI!)

Paula Lane ‘confirms’ Emmerdale exit as Ella Forster

Currently in the Dales, Ella is showing her creepy side with some seriously questionable behaviour. She started stalking Dr Liam after being suspicious that he was seeing Chas whilst still in a relationship with her.

When Liam eventually confessed the truth, Ella was absolutely livid. And, with a killer past under her belt, perhaps Liam and Chas better be careful not to wind her up further.

Now though, actress Paula Lane’s Spotlight page reveals that she’s only filming for Emmerdale until February 2025. So, if we go by this, Ella’s final scenes will air on screen in the spring… Interesting.

Ella’s only been in the village for just under a year. And, it’s always felt like we’ve barely scratched the surface with her. But, with only months to go until Ella’s reported exit, we’re starting to wonder whether there’s any more depth to the character after all…

Emmerdale's Ella is serious in the Woolpack
The hype was there, but nothing else was… (Credit: ITV)

Emmerdale missed a trick with Ella

When it was announced that Paula Lane would be making an arrival into Emmerdale as Ella, there was a huge buzz. There was so much hype… wow, a Corrie favourite making the move over to a rival soap. It was all super exciting.

Most soap viewers were looking forward to see the talented Paula Lane back on our screens as a series regular in another show, but unfortunately Paula’s talent hasn’t been made the most of.

Perhaps part of us really hoped that Ella was linked to Emmerdale icon Meena Jutla no matter how wild this theory may’ve been. But, Ella’s secret revealed felt like a tiny bit of a let-down.

Never the less, after it was revealed that Ella had killed her best friend as a child and had spent time in prison, we were excited to see where the storyline could go. Was she going to kill again? Were there more skeletons in her closet?

But, ever since this killer reveal, all we’ve really seen has been Ella pining for Dr Liam (so like most of the women in the village then?) Yes, she’s creepy, and her obsession with Liam has us intrigued… but, with Ella’s exit coming rather soon, we’re wondering whether there’s much more to come. Was there even any point to the character?

    Ella had more to give

Ella had potential to become a proper part of the village. She had good foundations yet they weren’t built upon. We would’ve loved to see the story go one of two ways in the form of a redemption storyline or for her to become Meena Jutla 2.0 (although the latter would be an extremely hard task, we must admit.)

There was so much more ground to cover, and Ella had so much more to give. Perhaps she’ll surprise us with a few more twists before she bows out. Maybe then, she’ll give us something to remember…

  • Emmerdale fan ‘works out’ Steph Miligan’s real father – and it’s not Anthony or Caleb

Emmerdale fan ‘works out’ Steph Miligan’s real father – and it’s not Anthony or Caleb

Lately Ruby Fox-Miligan has been acting strangely in Emmerdale as her daughter Steph and father Anthony come back into her life. Speculation has been rife that Ruby was abused by her dad. But a new Emmerdale theory gives a different contender for Steph’s biological father – and it’s not Caleb or Anthony.

Steph brought Anthony to the village in an attempt at getting him and Ruby to reconcile, but it was very clear from Ruby’s reaction that was going to be harder than anticipated.

Her reaction to him showing up in the village led to other reckless behaviour – sleeping with Cain Dingle.

Ruby struggles to forgive Anthony – is there more to it? (Credit: ITV)

    Emmerdale Ruby’s relationship with Anthony

Ruby explained her reasoning for hating her father. When she was pregnant he tried to force her to get a termination, and then kicked her out of the house.

That alone gives Ruby a good enough reason for wanting him to stay away, but it’s clear Steph isn’t ready to give up.

And with Anthony informing them about his cancer diagnosis, Steph is desperate for her mum to at least consider giving him another chance.

The news also shocks Ruby, as she struggles to know how to process everything. But fans recently guessed there was a more sinister twist waiting to come out about Ruby and her father.

They theorised that Ruby had been abused by Anthony, and that he is Steph’s real dad. However, as new spoilers have been released, many fans are now speculating someone else is Steph’s father – and it’s not Caleb or Anthony.

In an upcoming episode, flashback scenes will explore Emmerdale Ruby’s backstory, and fans will come to get a surprising insight to her life.

The flashbacks feature a 16-year-old Ruby, around a year before Steph was born, getting along with a fellow teenager, Rob. Through the flashbacks fans will learn why she insists she can’t remember that day.

Ruby pretends she doesn’t remember her 16th birthday – but flasbacks reveal the truth (Credit: ITV)

Emmerdale theory suggests Rob is the real dad of Steph as Ruby’s past explored

Now, fans are convinced this new character Rob is actually Steph’s dad. And perhaps there is more to come from the story.

On a Reddit thread, fans theorised: “I originally believed that Anthony had physically abused Ruby when pregnant. If the assault theories are true, I don’t understand why he would risk losing Steph by reuniting with Ruby. And I don’t believe she would keep quiet, knowing he could do the same to her.”

Instead, the fan provided a different and new Emmerdale theory.

“I think now we’re supposed to believe that Rob is the biological father of Steph, but the writers may be having us on because that would be obvious.

“Hopefully they’re not just trying to take the focus off Anthony. And I hope Caleb really is the father. But maybe the Foxes saw Rob as ‘better’ than Caleb. Maybe he was rich and they set him up with Ruby. He may have abused her without her parents knowing.”

The theory helps understand why in Emmerdale Ruby tries to get the attention off her 16th birthday, and also why she hates her father so much.

Whatever the reason is, it’s clear there is much more going on than we currently know.

  • Steph pregnancy to expose Cain and Ruby affair? Hot Emmerdale fan theory

Steph pregnancy to expose Cain and Ruby affair? Hot Emmerdale fan theory

In typical soap fashion, a new Emmerdale theory suggests a shock pregnancy for Steph may be the catalyst for Cain and Ruby’s secret to be exposed.

Everyone knows secret one-night stands never stay quiet in Emmerdale. Especially when the person strays with someone close to home.

Viewers were left unhappy a few weeks ago when Cain slept with Ruby, his brother’s wife, while Moira was in brain surgery.

In a twist that has been deemed “completely unnecessary”, Cain and Ruby agreed it stays between them.

Cain and Ruby's secret to be exposed by Steph?
Emmerdale theory suggests Steph pregnancy may expose Cain and Ruby (Credit: ITV)

Cain and Ruby’s secret is a ticking bomb

But coming up, Cain’s guilt begins to eat away at him, and we know he gets arrested for his behaviour. But fans aren’t convinced he will confess to his wife.

Instead they think it will be Steph, Ruby and Caleb’s daughter, who forces the secret out.

Around the same time as Cain and Ruby, Steph herself had a bunk-up with Emmerdale bad boy Ross Barton. So when Caleb spotted the morning after pill packaging in the rubbish, he just assumed it was hers.

However, we know it was actually Ruby’s. And, as Emmerdale made a point of showing Caleb find the packaging, everyone believes that will have to play into the reveal.

Could Steph be pregnant with Ross' baby?
    Is Steph pregnant? (Credit: ITV)

Emmerdale theory suggests pregnancy for Steph

One new theory suggests Steph may actually be pregnant with Ross’ baby, and so obviously Caleb will then question what he found – leading to a huge bombshell hitting him and Moira.

The Emmerdale theory was first posted on a Reddit thread, and fans were quick to agree that it made sense.

One commented: “She will at least have a pregnancy scare and this is how Caleb will realise the morning-after pill packaging he found in the trash was not Steph’s.”

Another added: “I can totally see this happening!”

“They also made a point of showing the ‘this never happened’ text that Ruby sent to Cain. Either Caleb or Moira will see it,” a third penned.

Although, while many agreed, another fan suggested an alternative that would also bring another side to Anthony into the mix.

They wrote: “I thought Ruby’s dad would somehow figure out about Ruby and Cain. He could blackmail her about keeping quiet so he could stay in the village.”

While Mike Parr recently admitted he would love Ross to remain single, if Steph was pregnant, would Ross appreciate the chance to do fatherhood right? We know he is set to step away from trying with Moses..

Either way, it’s only a matter of time before Moira and Caleb find out. And we’re sure there will be fireworks whenever they do.

  • Emmerdale glimpse at Christmas in village leaves fans terrified

Emmerdale glimpse at Christmas in village leaves fans terrified

It’s that time of the year again. Soaps begin to tease their big winter storylines. But Emmerdale has given fans a glimpse at Christmas, and viewers are terrified.

As the first previews of Christmas in the Dales have been released, Emmerdale also shared their own look at the festivities. But the eeriness left fans concerned.

In a 40 second video posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), all the Emmerdale Christmas lights were on display. The caption simply read: “We love our Village at Christmas!”

While it may have been an innocent post to get everyone in the Christmas spirits, many thought it was hinting at something ominous.

The video showed an empty village, not one person in sight. And as the camera moved throughout, we got to see each building’s Christmas lights up close.

But why did the village need to be empty? Why was there an eerie feeling? Well fans think they were hinting that all may seem peaceful, but that’s not the actual case.

Fans react to Emmerdale Christmas video

Taking to X, fans expressed how they were awaiting something sinister at the end.

One wrote: “Genuinely thought this was going to turn into some kind of horror trailer.”

Another predicted: “Sprinkled with murder, affairs, heartbreak and Christmas cheer.”

“Looks great. But what is the surprise under the tree this year?” a third fan asked.

A viewer wrote: “It looks amazing. But bring on more drama for Christmas!”

    Christmas in Emmerdale

Let’s face it, Emmerdale loves to throw in some Christmas tragedies. The festive period seems to be the perfect time for secrets to come out or killers to strike. So it’s safe to assume this year will be no different.

A sneak peek to December in Emmerdale was released as show boss Iain MacLeod told Digital Spy that 2024 will be one of the most “exciting” Christmases in Emmerdale history.

He teased a “huge surprise arrival on Christmas Day”, as well as “some life or death jeopardy.”

There will also be “heartbreaking family drama with plenty of Dingle action”, along with some “classic gothic antics at Home Farm.”

Currently there are so many storylines bubbling away waiting to be popped open. Will Belle finally get the justice she deserves? Does the truth about Cain and Ruby come out? And just who is returning on Christmas Day – Joe? Pete? Robert? So many questions that need answering.

3 theories on how Ella will leave Emmerdale as Paula Lane is reportedly exiting the soap

Another character exit is rumoured to be just around the corner as Paula Lane is reportedly stepping down as Ella in Emmerdale in 2025. But exactly how Ella Forster will leave is unknown.

While Emmerdale has insisted they don’t comment on cast contracts, Paula Lane updated her Talent Spotlight page confirming she will finish filming in February.

Exact details haven’t been released, but with Ella having just found out about Chas and Liam, mixed in with her violent backstory, we could potentially see an explosive exit.

Let’s take a look at some of the best theories on how Ella will leave Emmerdale.

    1. Ella gets violent – and murders Liam in Emmerdale?

Just last week Ella discovered the truth about Liam and Chas, and she was not happy. And viewers are well aware of her killer past, so could Ella take Liam down in a final act before leaving the village?

Many fans have predicted her violent side will be shown on screen sometime soon. Some even believing she will set fire to the Woolpack with both Liam and Chas in it.

If this is the case, it could lead to Ella going to prison. However, as we have an idea of timelines, she would need to act quick.

But perhaps if she were to try to kill Liam, she may not stick around to see if she succeeded, and instead go on the run immediately.

Fans believe Ella’s revenge is the most likely storyline for her exit.

One wrote on X: “Ella is definitely going to try to get rid of Chas and/or Liam.”

    2. Ella can’t handle Liam and Chas together

Another possibility is Ella simply can’t handle seeing Liam and Chas together. Despite the couple’s initial decision to keep their romance quiet, Ella found out.

So now the cat’s out of the bag, Liam and Chas have no reason to stay hidden. Still working with her ex, this may prove tricky for Ella to move on from.

And maybe she senses that her violent past could come back and to save herself she packs her bags and leaves the village.

That seems too tame for an exit of someone with so much potential to turn into a huge villain.

    3. Emmerdale’s Ella to die?

Could we see Ella’s attempt at revenge fail, and she herself ends up in the crossfire?

We know Ella’s stalking of Liam has intensified over the last few weeks, leading to her finding out about him and Chas. But if she sets out for revenge without thinking things through, it could backfire on her.

Not only would this work as an exit story, but the consequences left in the village would be interesting to watch.

Liam could potentially blame himself for not being more supportive. Chas could also feel the guilt about her and Liam having feelings for each other behind Ella’s back.

Then as a result it could work as an interesting new dynamic in Chas and Liam’s budding relationship.

Whatever way she leaves the village, fans all agree that it’s a shame that actress Paula Lane wasn’t given more to work with.
