Emmerdale spoilers: Marlon fears April will do another runner

April ran away from home at Christmas and endured several weeks of living on the streets. During that time she witnessed her friend Becca being stabbed to death, and formed a bond with a lad called Dylan. April also suffered a tragic stillbirth in the toilet of a local gym and was unable to save her baby daughter.

Since her return home, April has been struggling to open up to her family about her ordeal. This has played into Marlon’s own anxiety and left him fearing  daughter could disappear again at any moment.

When Marlon’s woken up by a noise in the night he dashes down to the kitchen to find April there. She’s frustrated and cross to realise her dad still doesn’t trust her. And when Marlon tries to explain his actions it only succeeds in making April even angrier.

The youngsters share an emotional reunion, which is cut short when Marlon shows up and jumps to the wrong conclusion. Seeing red, the chef launches himself at Dylan and pins him up against the wall.

Tensions continue to rise as April is adamant Marlon has no idea of the trauma she endured. Dylan tries to diffuse the situation and is able to persuade April to return home with her father, leaving Marlon feeling grateful.

Later, Marlon agrees to give April the space she needs to process and she starts to soften towards him. Have the pair finally turned a corner?

Emmerdale spoilers: Joe continues to scheme

Ever since Joe arrived back in the Dales last year it’s been clear he’s hiding something. But what that thing is, no one quite knows yet.

In the space of a few weeks, Joe has managed to get his feet under the table at Home Farm, establish himself as Kim’s right hand man and seduce Dawn into his bed. He’s also been targeting Noah as part of a mystery plot, which saw him attempting to coerce the teen into accepting a job in Dubai.

Charity wised up to Joe’s manipulation and Noah turned down the offer of a life abroad. But Joe did not take the news well and made a call, indicating he wasn’t finished with Noah. Events then took a frightening turn when Noah was found staggering in the road the night of the limo smash. He was taken to hospital, where doctors revealed Noah had been the victim of a drugging.

A week on, and Noah’s recollection of that night is still a blur. Has Joe go away with it? Not if Kim has anything to do with it…

After luring Joe into a false sense of security, Kim summons Lydia. She explains she needs someone to be her eyes and ears, and tasks her bemused bestie with the job of spying on Joe. Once Kim once again expresses her desire to catch Joe out, as Dawn enters the room. But is she going to realise what’s been going on under her own roof?

Emmerdale spoilers: Time is running out for sick Joe

Joe is a very poorly man, that much is clear. But the nature of his illness remains something of a mystery.

He’s already collapsed on several occasions and requires medication on a regular basis. Recently Dawn discovered Joe passed out in his car with a bottle of pills by his side. She swallowed Joe’s story about a painkiller addiction, but it’s likely his dependence on drugs is down to something else. Fans have been speculating Joe is in organ failure and on the hunt for a suitable donor.

All of this ties in very nicely with Joe’s desperation to get Noah out of the country. He was livid when his brother turned down the job offer in Dubai and it doesn’t take a brainiac to work out who was behind Noah’s recent drugging episode.

Joe has managed to get away with it so far, but for how much longer? Suspicious Kim has bugged his bedroom and instructed Lydia to follow his every move. And now Noah has begun having flashbacks to the night of his spiking. Is the truth Joe’s illness about to be exposed?

Unaware of his fragile health, Ross is convinced Joe is putting it all on. He grabs hold of his foe and pins him up against a wall before issuing a menacing threat. And when Joe refuses to back down, Ross decides it’s time to teach the toff a lesson.

Emmerdale spoilers: Steph wants answers as the pact to cover up Anthony’s death begins to fall apart

Emmerdale spoilers: Steph is in the dark

Steph is sure her parents know more about Anthony’s disappearance than they’re letting on and is struggling to accept her grandad just did a moonlit flit. Of course, what Steph doesn’t yet realise is that Anthony was murdered and most of her family are in on it.

The evil abuser was killed by daughter Ruby, who suffocated him on the floor of the depot. She confessed her crime to Aaron, who had already spent a week thinking he was the murderer after attacking Anthony. Moments after killing her father, Ruby went home and told Caleb what she’d done. Caleb agreed to get rid of the body, but was beaten to it by John. Aaron’s boyfriend cleaned up the crime scene and disposed of Anthony’s corpse, but won’t tell anyone where it is.

Cain and Chas were next to be let in on Ruby’s killer secret and told the grim truth about Anthony being Steph’s real father. The six all agreed Steph must never find out the truth. They made a pact, but already cracks are starting to show.

The Emmerdale six are under pressure

Further shocking secrets are revealed as the co-conspirators gather for crisis talks.

The group are horrified to learn Caleb deliberately went against their plan to stick together by attempting to frame Cain for the crime. Caleb wanted revenge after discovering Cain slept with Ruby. He arranged for the police to arrest Cain then planted Anthony’s missing tooth in the boot of his brother’s car. If it wasn’t for Aaron’s quick-thinking then Cain would certainly be facing life in prison for murder.

As everyone reels over Caleb’s betrayal, tempers start to flare. One person’s had enough of all the lies and deceit and reckons they should just go to the police.

But their crumbling resolve leaves the others fearing it will bring the house of cards tumbling down and implicate them all.

Steph is on a mission in Emmerdale spoilers

Ruby and Caleb’s increasingly cagey behaviour also hasn’t unnoticed by Steph. She’s been watching the pair very closely and knows they aren’t being themselves or being honest with her.

After spying a tense exchange between her mum and Cain in the village, Steph renews her determination to get to the bottom of it all and find out what really happened to Anthony.

She’s clearly a woman on a mission. How long will it be before Steph’s digging leads her to the grisly truth?
