Now, with Amelia’s final scenes due to air this month, Daisy has confirmed that Mark Jordan’s Daz Spencer will make a short comeback as Amelia goes to live with him.
Reflecting on her last scenes on Emmerdale, Daisy said: “It was weird because we film in two week blocks so the first week was really emotional because Mark Jordan comes back (Daz) so it was lovely to see him again.”

Remember Daz Spencer?
Daz Spencer is actually the biological father of Amelia, despite Dan raising her.
Dan always believed that he was Amelia’s father. But, Daz did a paternity test in 2018 after Ali died. This then revealed that Daz was actually Amelia’s biological dad (woah!)
Amelia struggled with this news at first (and we don’t blame her), and ended up going missing. She was found living with a rather creepy girl called Beth who she’d met in an online chatroom.
Daz left the village in 2019 but is about to come back this month as Amelia goes to live with him.

A terrible family reunion continued to unfold for Ruby on Emmerdale this week, as the return of estranged dad Anthony Fox continued to play havoc with her emotions.
In last night’s episode (airing Wednesday, December 4), Ruby was ambushed by Anthony and Steph, who were determined to have her hear him out. Ruby was stoic as ever, putting up with this impromptu family gathering, and appearing to hear out her dad’s apologies.
However, as the episode ended, a tearful Ruby fled from the house – pretending that she needed to nip to the shops – her father’s words reverberating in her head. As she suffered a panic attack outside, it became clear that there’s more to their animosity than mere bad blood.
But what really happened between Ruby and her father?

Emmerdale fans predict Anthony abused Ruby
A prevailing theory, and one that Ruby‘s reaction last night would seem to back up – is that Anthony abused his daughter. Many viewers have suggested that this could be the case, writing on social media to shar their theories.
“I think Ruby has been abused by her dad in the past,” wrote one viewer on X.
“I still think ruby been abused by her dad,” said another.
Viewers have predicted a particularly dark twist to Steph’s parentage (Credit: ITV)
“Did Ruby’s Dad abuse her? and is Steph her Dad’s child?” asked one fan.
“Ruby dad, is he Steph’s dad too?” asked another.
“My heart is breaking for Ruby right now. She’s got so much going on and I don’t trust her dad at all. Actually think her dad is Steph’s dad too,” wrote a third.
Ruby’s mum also appeared to be a nasty piece of work (Credit: ITV)
Abused by her mother
If not Anthony himself, others think that he could have been party to Ruby’s abuse by another – in this case her mum, Helen. Again, this might make sense given Ruby’s reaction to learning that her mother was dying earlier this year.
“I’m starting to think she was abused in one way or another by her Mum, and maybe her Dad knew about it?” suggested one viewer.
Ruby clearly has no love for either parent. But why?
Ruby isn’t ready to confront her past just yet (Credit: ITV)
Emmerdale fans predict cover-up between Ruby and Anthony
“My theory is that her parents invited someone to her 16th party to sway her from Caleb. She rejects him and he assaults her? Maybe she told her parents but they covered it up because he’s from a ‘decent’ family or something?” wrote one fan on Reddit.
“I’m guessing Anthony doesn’t know what happened to Ruby, maybe ‘Rob’ abused her after Anthony had set him up with her,” another viewer suggested.
Why do you think Ruby is so frightened of her dad?

Emmerdale is set to air a special Jacob A&E episode, but will this spell the end for his mum Leyla Harding?
With Jacob ready to be pushed to his limits during an hour long episode in January, he’s set to be tested both ‘professionally and personally.’
But, could this special episode spell the end for soap favourite Leyla? We hope not!

Emmerdale fan theory: Leyla to die in Jacob special episode?
New spoilers reveal that Jacob will have a whole hour-long episode dedicated to his first day on work placement in A&E. This will see him deal with life-threatening scenarios.
Villagers are also set to be affected. But, fans have now theorised that this episode will mark the end for Leyla.
One fan reacted to the special episode announcement on X and wrote: “Leyla’s death looms. I’m broken.”
Another person wondered: “Will Leyla come in on a stretcher?”
A third fan had really thought this scenario through and shared: “Leyla will arrive on a stretcher and there will be a flashback episode which shows us her getting murdered by the drug dealer.”
It’s unclear exactly how Leyla will die but this special episode seems like a rather worrying sign that Leyla could meet her end as the New Year arrives… what with Jacob reappearing out of nowhere and being given an hour-long episode solely dedicated to him. A coincidence? Hmmm…
Emmerdale has also said that Jacob will be affected ‘personally’ during the episode. Producer Sophie Roper also teased: “Jacob will encounter some challenging situations that also affect some of our Emmerdale villagers.”
But, will Leyla be one of them? Is this the episode where she sadly dies? We’re not ready…

Frustrated after Marlon tells her she can’t go into town after school, April accepts a lift from the apparently friendly Jade. Not long after, she makes a video call to Ross revealing that she’s kidnapped April.
Telling Billy that he needs to go alone, Ross borrows his car and heads out to rescue April – in spite of the fact he doesn’t have Jade’s money. Getting a pin from Jade, Ross is filled with dread as she directs him to a place he knows all too well… the multi-storey car park where Donna died.
Arriving at the car park, Ross is horrified to find April, one of Jade’s thugs dangling her over the edge of the car park roof. As Jade continues to demand money that Ross doesn’t have, April’s life hangs in the balance.

Robert return on Christmas Day speculated
After show boss Iain Macleod said in an interview with Digital Spy back in September: “This Christmas, there is a huge surprise arrival on Christmas Day,” many fans have speculated it’s the return of Robert Sugden.
Currently serving time in prison for killing sister Victoria’s rapist Lee Posner, Robert was Aaron’s one true love. They weathered many a storm together, but Rob let Aaron go when he was sent down.
Aaron has proved he’s not quite forgotten Robert – as displayed when he found out Rebecca had died and left Robert’s son, who Aaron doted on, without a mother. John picked up on his residual feelings for Robert and it made things awkward.
But after actually talking about it, they decided to move on and move forward together. This declaration of love is the next stage in that. But could Robert return and mess everything up again? Who knows, but it’s certainly what the fans want!

In Emmerdale spoilers for Monday December 16 to Friday December 20 Brenda Walker gets the wrong end of the stick about Eric Pollard’s relationship with Kerry Wyatt.
And with their relationship already in tatters is this the straw that will break the camel’s back?
Brenda can’t believe what she’s hearing upstairs (Credit: ITV)
When Kerry notices Pollard is struggling with his housework, she steps in to help. They head upstairs to get their clean on, but then Brenda comes home.
She arrives with leftover food, but when she hears them upstairs, she thinks the noises are something else entirely. Confused and heartbroken, can Brenda ever really trust Eric again?
Brenda was devastated by Pollard’s behaviour (Credit: ITV)
Brenda and Eric are falling apart
It’s not been a good time for the couple recently. Eric couldn’t get hold of his usual medication and his new medication made him act impulsively. However neither realised that could be a side effect of what he’s been taking.
Eric proposed to Brenda and then splashed the cash on a lavish engagement party, plus a honeymoon cruise around the world. Brenda was particularly delighted when she realised they’d be stopping in Canada to see her granddaughter Molly.
Then the financial advisor’s phone number went dead, both Eric’s and Brenda’s accounts were completely empty and Eric realised he’d been scammed. The police said they couldn’t do anything as Pollard had invested the money willingly.
Brenda said she couldn’t ever get over it, especially when she realised he only proposed because of the influence of the meds. But she then vowed to stand by him, although later admitted to Bob she was only staying because Pollard is ill and couldn’t cope alone.
So will this latest turn of events be enough to make Brenda realise she’s can’t stay? We know actress Lesley Dunlop who plays Brenda is leaving, so will this be the thing that drives her away from Emmerdale?

Will reels Kim in in Emmerdale spoilers
Now, we’re not entirely sure who’s scamming who if we’re totally honest! Does Kim know everything and have a plan up her sleeve (we really hope so) or is she oblivious and thinking Will’s being Mr Romantic? Either way as the week before Christmas begins, the couple appear all loved up.
Kim is touched when Will suggests they keep their vow renewal ceremony intimate. And by that he just means the two of them. But Kim is a bit concerned when he doesn’t intend to invite family.
So she takes matters into her own hands and invites Dawn and the kids herself. Dawn is thrilled and says of course they will be there. Kim bites the bullet and also asks the family to move back into Home Farm.

Billy throws a tantrum
Now, this is a timely invite because Jai soon gives Dawn and Billy a week to vacate Holdgate. The problem is, Billy is adamant he will not be moving back to Home Farm. Tricky.
Given everything he’s done lately, we don’t really know if Billy’s in any position to call the shots. However he remains firm there is no way he will go back there. It doesn’t matter that his family don’t have a roof over their heads, apparently his pride is more important.
They do get some good news that Evan could come home for Christmas, but the trouble is, he needs a home to go to!
