In Emmerdale spoilers for next week, things take a sinister turn as Anthony sets his sights on Angelica King.
Viewers are aware that Anthony sexually abused his daughter Ruby Fox-Miligan when she was a teenager, however that fact remains hidden from everyone else.
Now, there is a fear that Anthony could strike again as begins to tutor Angelica.
Steph and Caleb are unaware of the truth (Credit: ITV)
What happened between Anthony and Ruby?
Ruby had been estranged from her parents for over 30 years. While it was assumed that this was due to their disapproval of Caleb, the truth was later revealed in a special flashback episode.
The special scenes saw a young Ruby in her bedroom on her 16th birthday. She was soon joined by Anthony, who brought her some cake.
Things soon took a vile turn as Anthony locked the bedroom door as Ruby watched on petrified. Ruby begged her father: “Please not again, please not today.” Making it clear that Anthony had been abusing his teenage daughter.
Recently on Emmerdale, Ruby confided in Chas that she was raped and therefore Caleb might not be Steph’s dad. She stopped short of telling Chas that her abuser was her own dad. However, she did agree to getting a DNA test so that she could know the truth once and for all.

In Emmerdale, Tom King has finally been charged for his months of abuse towards his wife, Belle Dingle.
Last week, after he failed at going on the run, DS Foy charged Tom King and refused to let him back out.
This was obviously a highly anticipated moment by all Emmerdale fans, as the storyline has been difficult to watch for many. But just when it seemed justice was about to be served and we could be free of Tom from our screens – Angelica decided to contact him.
Tom had tried to reach out to Jimmy, but after Nicola gave him a talking to, he realised it was a bad idea. And so Jimmy ignored the messages coming from the prison.
Unbeknownst to her parents, Angelica had heard a lot of their conversation, and decided she wanted to talk to her cousin herself.
After putting in her own contact details, she received a call from Tom, who was also surprised. However, he quickly realised he could use his manipulation skills on her, and it wasn’t long before Angelica was believing every word he said.

Fans react to Emmerdale Tom and Angelica twist
Viewers were not happy at all with this development as everyone thought it was finally the end of Tom. But of course, things can never be so simple in soap.
Many fans took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share their upset at the storyline.
One wrote: “Angel barely knows Tom. Why is she getting involved?”
Another added: “Oh I thought the Tom storyline was over…”
“Why is Angel even getting involved? Why would she even believe Tom? It doesn’t make any sense”, a third added.
The angry reaction is quite understandable, especially as Emmerdale confirmed Tom’s storyline will be coming to an end this year.
Emmerdale Tom manipulates Angelica (ITV)
While Angelica and Tom’s new connection may seem out of the blue, it most likely relates to Angel’s own recent feelings about herself.
Not long back from spending time inside for causing the death of Heath, Angelica felt she was evil. And even explained she doesn’t feel anything.
With someone else in her family headed for prison, she could feel Tom is the only one who relates to her.
But will she snap out of it soon? Or will she fall for every lie Tom gives?

3. Mack taunts Ross
When Ross Barton returned recently, he made it clear to Mackenzie who Moses’ father was.
But as time has gone on, Ross keeps messing up. And Mack is the one who gets to pick up the pieces.
Nobody knows that Mack is the one who stole Jade’s money, and he is chuffed with himself knowing he can provide for his family more than Ross can.
This is something he wastes no time in taunting Ross with – leaving the Emmerdale bad boy furious.
4. Ross gets a warning
We’re sure that whenever Ross finds out Mack stole the money he will be out for revenge. But until then, Ross has to deal with the fact Jade blames him. And tonight she makes it extremely clear to him there are consequences to the money going missing.
She gives him a harsh warning, telling him what will happen if he doesn’t find a way to give her the ten thousand pounds.
And it seems that no matter how many times Ross assures her it wasn’t him who stole it – she does not believe him.
Emmerdale tonight saw Eric lose everything as his crypto currency gamble fell apart, as Brenda realised her account had been cleaned out, too.
And instead of ‘fessing up to his wife-to-be, Pollard decided to gamble even more. Will he end up regretting it?
Here’s everything that happened in Emmerdale on Monday December 2.
Eric threatened Liam with the police (Credit: ITV)
Pollard lost everything in Emmerdale tonight
Eric was confused when the increase in crypto wasn’t showing on his account and tried to get hold of his advisor. And when he wasn’t available, Eric started to worry – only to fret even more when Noah admitted he’d only invested £100 in crypto because he was too sensible to risk losing more.
Later, Brenda found a wedding dress, but when she went to pay for it with her savings, her card was declined. Confused, she told Leyla her account had thousands in it and headed off to phone the bank.
But as she reached number nine in the queue to speak to someone, she got home and filled Eric in. He told her it was a technical glitch and said it would be sorted.
In desperation Eric turned to the racing pages of the newspaper, hoping to win back the money he’d lost, when he was interrupted by Liam who clocked him taking cash from the till.
Liam returned to hear Eric placing the bet and warned him that his medication could make him act recklessly.
Eric confessed to Liam that he’d lost the cash, and had secured a loan on his house. Liam begged him to come off the medication, but Pollard insisted he was going to the bookies and threatened to call the police!

Brenda was devastated!
Back home, Eric returned triumphant with Brenda’s wedding dress. But it turned out Liam had got to Brenda first and explained what her husband was up to. And she’d spoken to the bank and found out the truth about what had happened to her savings.

Tom’s family deserted him – or did they?
Meanwhile, Jimmy fibbed to Nicola that he was going to the yard, but instead he was worrying about how to respond to an email about Tom in prison. Tom wanted to add Jimmy to his contacts.
Nicola wasn’t impressed by Jimmy’s lies and she really wasn’t happy about him considering visiting his nephew. She told her husband in no uncertain terms to get the prison to take them off Tom’s list of contacts.
Elsewhere, Liam told Cain about his romance with Chas and was relieved when Cain gave his approval. But Cain was still grumpy and stressed holding things together at the farm and the garage and he really didn’t want to celebrate his 50th birthday!

While Angel wrestles with the guilt of what happened, we were thinking that she’s definitely not the first Emmerdale teenager to go bad. Here’s a round-up of the other youngsters who went right off the rails…
Nice boy Robert Sugden turned moody and aggressive by his teens (Credit: ITV/Shutterstock)
Robert Sugden
Robert Sugden had lost two mums by the time he reached his teens, and caught his dad cheating, so in some ways it’s no surprise that all that heartbreak made him cold and manipulative.
As a younger teen, Robert was involved in the car accident that left a teacher dead – more on that later. He didn’t learn his lesson, though, as just a couple of years later he crashed his car and scarpered, leaving girlfriend Elaine unconscious. Then he lied about it! He even had a romance with much older Nicola Blackstock (now King). URGH.
Andy’s arson attack caused all sorts of trouble (Credit: ITV/Shutterstock)
Andy Sugden
Andy and Robert were once best friends – that’s why the Sugden family took Andy in as a troubled youngster. But Robert’s jealousy made things tricky as Andy tried his best to prove he was a proper member of the family.
Unfortunately for Andy and his adopted mum Sarah, that meant him torching the barn in a misguided attempt to solve the family’s financial troubles. Unbeknownst to Andy, Sarah was inside the barn. She died and though Jack got the blame at first, it was Andy who eventually ‘fessed up. Robert never really forgave him.
Lachlan was awkward and odd, but when he first came to the village he was sweetly supportive to Belle Dingle and encouraged her to get help for her mental health issues.
But it was when he befriended Jacob Gallagher that things took a turn. Lachlan became overly interested in Jacob’s mum, Alicia, and even bought her an expensive handbag as a present, which Alicia returned. Lachlan sexually assaulted Alicia, and eventually his mum Chrissie reported him to the police.
That was only the start for Lachlan. He went on to shoot his grandfather Lawrence, kill his mum and Lawrence in a car crash he caused, murder fan fave Gerry and a conman who was posing as Gerry’s uncle, and kidnap his aunt Rebecca and hold her hostage!
Thankfully, Lachlan’s now behind bars!

Emmerdale kids gone back: The teens in 2002
In 2002, the village teens – Robert and Andy Sugden, Ollie and Marc Reynolds, Donna Windsor, Katie Addyman and Eve Birch – planned a night out in Hotten.
When they missed the last bus home, Andy tried to impress his mates by stealing a car. Marc got behind the wheel and they set off for home, only to hit someone walking in the road.
Horrified, the joyriders realised they had hit and killed their headteacher, Miss Strickland!
They torched the car and covered up what they’d done, as the village mourned the loss. But Marc’s conscience got the better of him and despite the others trying to stop him, he went to the police.
He tried to take the full blame but his friends admitted they were also involved.
Marc was sent to Young Offenders, just like Angelica, while the other teens got community service.
Thomas King had an outburst at Carl’s funeral and tormented Chas (Credit: ITV/Shutterstock)
Tom King
Back in 2013, Tom King was known as Thomas and he had a vendetta against his dad Carl’s ex, Chas Dingle.
Chas had recently been found not guilty of murdering Carl. She didn’t kill him – that had been Dales serial killer, Cameron Murray – though she had believed she’d committed the crime for a while.
But even after Chas was let off, Thomas still thought she was guilty. He began a campaign of harassment against Chas, sending her creepy photos with the eyes scratched out, throwing bottles at her, trashing the pub living room and generally making her life a misery. And it looks like he hasn’t changed a bit!
No, we’re not sure why she didn’t bring this up when Belle got together with him, either!
