Last night’s episode of Emmerdale saw Dawn betray husband Billy by kissing Joe Tate. This came after a busy day for Dawn, who had drugged Kim Tate with ketamine in the hope of making her confess to Will’s murder.
However, Dawn’s plan didn’t work out as planned, and Kim remained steadfast in her innocence. She then suffered a seizure from the overdose, and a panicked Joe called an ambulance.
Thankfully, Kim seemed to make a full recovery, and the pair buried the hatchet in the hospital. Back at Home Farm, Dawn and Joe shared a moment on the sofa – and then a kiss.
With another affair seemingly set to rock the dales, we ask… is any couple safe?

Is any couple safe as Dawn and Joe kiss destroys another Emmerdale couple
Dawn’s betrayal of Billy comes only months after Cain and Ruby appalled a nation by sleeping together. Fans were left horrified by scenes in which Cain cheated on Moira while she lay in hospital.
Neither Moira nor Caleb are aware of Cain and Ruby’s betrayal yet, but it’s surely only a matter of time. Elsewhere, Doctor Liam picked Chas over Ella – only days after rekindling their romance – and Rhona felt betrayed when she learned that Laurel had attempted to kiss Marlon.
Other couples are still going strong – Paddy and Mandy, and Charity and Mack, for example, but given their histories, can we trust history not to repeat? Especially with fans clamouring for Ross and Charity to become a thing.
There’s always the newly loved-up John and Aaron… but with viewers holding out for a Robron reunion, we wouldn’t necessarily expect that one to last either.
Sam and Lydia, then… it’s all on you two.

Emmerdale viewers share dismay at ‘repetitive’ cheating storylines
Writing on X as the scenes aired, viewers shared their thoughts on Joe and Dawn‘s kiss. And many have had enough of it all.
“Meanwhile over in Emmerdale, we have another scandal! All this soap does is make people cheat,” wrote one viewer.
“And we have more cheating in Emmerdale,” said another.
“Here we go with the joe Dawn affair then,” sighed a third.

Fans have slammed Emmerdale for Billy and Dawn’s storyline taking a different route, and many seem sick of their relationship.
Billy and Dawn used to be a very popular Emmerdale couple. But it seems recently the storylines haven’t managed to keep viewers interested in them.
When they had their baby boy, Evan, things took a sharp turn for the couple. Evan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukeamia at just four months old.
This meant life for Billy, Dawn and their family had to change. Dawn decided to stay at home so that someone was always there to watch their baby. But this ultimately led to money problems for the Fletchers.
What could have been a storyline focused on a family trying to keep their son healthy as a unit, has turned into more lies, illegal activities and just a whole lot of arguing. So it’s no wonder viewers are getting bored of it.

Viewers slam Emmerdale Billy and Dawn
In recent months Billy lied to Dawn and took part in an illegal fight club – which brought back Ross Barton (Yay!). But even after she found out and gave him a way to earn their family more money, he couldn’t let his ego go.
This ultimately led to him and Dawn having yet another big bust up. But the pair always seem to forgive each other in the end.
In last night’s episode (December 16) Kim Tate told Dawn that she, Billy and the kids could all move back into Home Farm. This would definitely help sort out some of their worries. But Billy of course decided it’s not something he wants to do, claiming the big house is cursed.
This didn’t sit well with viewers, as they argue that if they had no other option then surely Billy would do what’s best for his family?
Taking to a Reddit thread, one viewer wrote: “Billy and Dawn are so painfully boring.”
Another agreed, adding: “This storyline has not been about Evan’s illness at all.”
A third momentarily praised the couple: “Billy and Dawn have completed a sentence without slinging [expletive] at one another.”
But a few moments later updated their comment: “Edit – Here comes the argument.”
Dawn and Billy’s storyline should have kept Evan at the focus. (Credit: ITV)
Fans question why they are still together
More viewers on X (formerly known as Twitter) backed up the Reddit thread, agreeing that the current storyline involving the couple is quite dull.
One wrote: “Is Billy staying with Dawn purely because of Evan? I can’t see another reason for them to be together.”
Another commented: “Billy and Dawn are truly a miserable couple.”
If the pair move back into Home Farm before Christmas then they will be there to witness it take centre stage on the Christmas Day episode. The countdown is well and truly on for viewers to finally find out who Peter’s mystery man is.

This week’s Emmerdale review is written wearily as we force ourselves to watch another bout of illegal boxing and all the toxic men in the village trying to out do each other.
But there were some less exhausting parts too. Here’s what we thought of the action in this week’s Emmerdale review.
Jade seems to be an evil criminal mastermind running a two-bit boxing match in random barns. (Credit: ITV)
Boxing boredom in our Emmerdale review
What on earth is all this then? Nothing about this illegal boxing story makes sense. In no particular order, here are the things that have been bothering us this week…
First up, how is Jade both a two-bit boxing promoter running fights in random barns, and at the same time a criminal mastermind with enough contacts to threaten Billy’s kids and know that Billy’s wife used to be an addict?!
How are her henchmen so evil and strong that they can beat Ross to a pulp, but not bright enough to pick up the money belt that looked like it might have belonged to Martin Fowler.
Why were the people watching the fight a rag-tag group of weirdos but somehow with enough cash to place bets so massive that they had to pay for them with rolls of money? It’s all a mystery.
This is Dawn’s unimpressed face (Credit: ITV)
Dawn stepped up
Dawn came up with the brilliant idea of Billy throwing the fight. Which was a) surprisingly smart for Dawn and b) totally what Jade should have done last week.
But as it happened it didn’t matter, because John called the police and everyone scarpered. And we were left groaning that this whole awful story still isn’t over.
Ross and Dawn share a history (Credit: ITV)
Dawn’s back
It’s hard to remember now she mostly wanders round with a chip on her shoulder and a laundry basket on her hip, but Dawn used to be quite interesting. And she had a bit of an edge to her. We caught a little glimpse of that old Dawn this week and we liked it!
There was a definite spark between her and Ross, which reminded us how much we liked them together back in the day. And it was quite amusing how all the big men – Ross, Billy, Aaron – were scared of Jade, while Dawn just sent her packing. More, please!
First time round, Tina was smart, with a sharp-tongue, and a quick brain. She was a bit classier than the average Dingle – we’re not talking Kim Tate classy but you know what we mean – and she was ambitious, albeit ruthless.
New Tina is a carbon copy of Rose Jackson, in her scheming and lying, and she even looks a bit like her. She probably is entitled to some of Zak’s house but we don’t much care either way.
And we still don’t understand why or how Mandy kept the identity of Vinny’s mum a secret.
Why so much hate for Tina?!
Another thing that’s got us scratching our heads over Tina is why everyone hates her. We admit she did wrong during her time in Emmerdale, but she was devoted to her family and grief-stricken over the loss of her brother Ben.
She and Mandy were always besties and their goodbye was heartfelt and emotional. She even begged Mandy to go to London with her and left her cousin the fancy car Frank Tate had bought her.
We sort of get Mandy having mixed feelings about her now given the Vinny sitch, but what about the rest of the Dingles? It’s all very confusing!
Give Ella something to do for heaven’s sake! (Credit: ITV)
What’s the point of Ella?
We are reluctant to say this out loud because we love Paula Lane, who plays child killer Ella, but what’s the point of her now her secret’s been revealed? Give her something to do! We liked her almost-friendship with Cain, and her bonding with Manpreet for starters. Her backstory does make her hard to like, but surely there’s a place for her somewhere in the village?
Dingles united
One thing we did love about this week’s episode was the bonfire night fiasco with the Guy who looked like Tom King! Tom’s reaction was totally predictable, as he threw a massive tantrum, shouted at poor Amelia, and whinged to Uncle Jimmy.
And we LOVED the Dingles’ Spartacus moment when they all took the blame. The Dingles at their absolute best!
Definitely time for a Robert return! (Credit: ITV)
Loving John
We are really enjoying John and Aaron’s budding romance. They’re so good together and it seems they’re on an even keel now after a pretty rocky start.
Which probably means it’s time for Robert to come back, wouldn’t you say? Hint, hint, Emmerdale writers…

Emmerdale tonight was all about Billy and Ross’ fight club and it turned out everyone lost out – well, almost everyone. Ross has been arrested, Billy has sacrificed his marriage for his ego and Aaron was rushed to hospital. Mack, however, seems to think he has come out on top…
Meanwhile, Chas and Liam risked being exposed and Tina made her presence felt.
Here’s everything that went down in Emmerdale tonight, Thursday November 7.
Fight club in Emmerdale tonight
Billy’s pride wouldn’t let him take the fall (Credit: ITV)
Billy messed up
Jade turned up at Butlers and announced the fight was now being held in one of the barns there. Elsewhere, Dawn was adamant Billy was throwing the fight – and she was going to bet their money on it to make sure of it. Billy, of course, sulked. Get over yourself, mate!
Dawn then went to visit Ross and it was clear there was a rapport there. But is Billy right, is there more to their relationship? And yes, we did see that look Dawn gave Ross when he took off his shirt! She liked what she saw (and she probably wasn’t the only one!)
As the fight got underway, Billy soon overpowered Ross. Dawn was clearly worried Billy was going back on their arrangement. And it looked like he was because he did not stay down in round three as instructed.
And then John arrived to say the police had been called and the fight come to a halt. So Dawn has lost all their money.
As everybody scarpered Dawn and Billy limped home and he STILL didn’t take responsibility. He was still blaming her and acting like he was the wounded party. But frankly that pain in his stomach is the least he deserves. Dawn did not want to hear it.
She then revealed she had pawned her wedding ring to place the bet and despite Billy’s pleas he would get it back (er, how, exactly, mate?) Dawn told him she didn’t see herself wearing it again. Can’t really blame her, can we?
Aaron took a hit and John performed emergency surgery (Credit: ITV)
John saved Aaron’s life
With everyone gone from the barn, Jade’s goons were trying to clear all the evidence before they left. But they soon couldn’t find the money and started fighting over it. Aaron tried to stop one of them leaving as the police pulled up, but he was punched to the floor.
The hit managed to collapse Aaron’s lung and John had to intervene fast to save his life. He used a pen and a sharp knife to intubate and rescued him. And it turns out what he did was a pretty big deal. But will Aaron be grateful?
Mack made a mint
With everyone running off, Mack stayed to deal with the cops, but it was clear he had a plan up his sleeve as he swiped the money and hid it.
After the police left, he was beside himself with joy at the fact he had all the cash. But something tells us this won’t end well for him at all!
Ross was arrested
As everyone else managed to escape, it all came down on poor Ross. He was limping down a country lane when Cain drove past him. But knowing what had gone one, Cain refused to rescue him – just as good old PC Swirling drove round the corner and arrested him. Will Ross rat out Jade and Billy and bring more trouble to his door?
Chas and Liam in Emmerdale tonight
Chas and Liam were all loved-up after the night before. But Ella is still hanging round like a bad smell. She saw Liam coming and pretended to be on the phone setting up a date to make him jealous. However, her phone rang and he caught her out. Liam took her home to talk things through and Ella begged for the truth. He was kind, but still avoided being honest, so she leaned in to kiss him.
Ella then disappeared upstairs, but while she was there, Chas arrived and asked Liam to take her to the hospital. He immediately grabbed his keys and left Ella without saying a word. She walked back downstairs, but has she realised what’s really going on? And what action will she take?
Tina definitely doesn’t know the Dingle code! (Credit: ITV)
Also in Emmerdale tonight: Tina caused more trouble
Sam found Tina in her caravan in the Dingles’ yard. She turned on the waterworks as she stood over Zak’s grave. But then she made it clear she wants her share of the house. Sam desperately looked for the will and couldn’t find it, suspecting Tina had swiped it.
Tina then arrived at the Woolpack and the Dingles rounded on her. It turned out, Mandy had the will and had stolen it to give to Tina.
Tina then managed to get Sam drunk and got him to spill some secrets – including the fact Vinny is loaded. Using this to her advantage, money-grabbing Tina continued to blackmail Mandy into getting Wishing Well sold so she can get her share. But will Mandy do it?

2. Aaron hurt
Worried about Billy and Ross, Mack recruits Aaron as back up in case things go awry. As Ross and Billy square off against one another, a panicked John arrives on the scene. He warns everyone that someone has tipped the police off, and that they are on the way.
As the event is called to an abrupt halt, the money disappears. Amid the chaos, Deano punches Aaron and Jade’s gang flees from the police.

Emmerdale tonight dealt us another blow when Jimmy and Amelia took Tom’s side after his outburst last night. Even Rodney was sympathetic to Tom – enough is enough.
Meanwhile, Billy was forced to confess to Dawn and sulked when she took control of the situation. But will he go along with her plan?
Here’s what happened in Emmerdale tonight (Wednesday November 6)
Jimmy once again took Tom’s side (Credit: ITV)
Tom manipulated again
Jimmy is STILL sympathising with Tom. He’s STILL on Tom’s side. Even Rodney offered Tom some support. What is wrong with them?
Jimmy then tentatively asked if Amelia was all right and suggested she was quite upset about the night before. Tom turned it round (again) and said he knew he shouldn’t have got angry. He manipulated the situation suggesting he now felt like Jimmy and Amelia were now turning on him. Jimmy, of course, rushed to insist he was still on his side. Sigh. And the most stupid man in the village award goes to…
Amelia was a bit tougher to crack. Jimmy went in to bat for Tom when he saw her and said he was worried about Tom and there’s no way Tom would ever want to purposely upset her.
Amelia then relented and let Tom come over. He did his best puppy dog eyes and apologised for overreacting. He’d apparently been awake all night worried about Amelia. And she actually bought it and even ended up feeling sorry for him.
We cannot take much more of this.
Furious Dawn stepped in to sort Billy’s problems (Credit: ITV)
Billy was given what-for in Emmerdale tonight
Billy was training and being miserable, avoiding Dawn and trying to keep his secret. When he returned from his run, Dawn was frantic, saying Clemmie and Lucas were missing. She has looked everywhere and they were nowhere to be seen.
Billy refused to call the police and confessed it was to do with Jade. Confused Dawn didn’t have time to press as Clemmie and Lucas ran round the corner. Jade didn’t have them and now Dawn wanted answers. Whoops Billy!
So he then confessed what he’s been up to. Dawn couldn’t believe he would be this stupid. Doesn’t know her husband very well, does she?!
Dawn then called Ross over to sort out the mess. She has a plan – they are going to fix the fight. She didn’t give Billy a choice, she said he was the one taking the fall and he had to drop.
Billy was not happy and decided it was because Dawn had feelings for Ross and wanted him to lose. But Dawn gave it to him with both barrels – she wasn’t messing and we quite like this side of her.
But something tells us Billy’s ego is so bruised he’s not giving this fight up without, er, a fight.
Also in Emmerdale tonight…
Chas had a wobble, but Liam reassured her (Credit: ITV)
Liam and Chas were loved-up
Liam crept in to the Woolpack back room with flowers for Chas. Half of him is ready to throw caution to the wind and tell people – he’s even bought new aftershave and a new shirt for the occasion.
Things still seem a bit awkward between them as they started kissing. And then Chas suddenly pulled away.
As they sat together talking things through, Liam said he would wait as long as she wanted to. But Chas is worried about what she looks like after the cancer surgery. Liam insisted there was no pressure at all, he was here for her. They both confessed to feeling safe with each other, but Chas still isn’t ready. Liam was very understanding and they did end up in bed. It feels like there might be a real future for these two – if Emmerdale don’t go and mess yet another couple up, that is.
John and Aaron talked, but it didn’t go well (Credit: ITV)
Aaron and John fell out
John and Aaron still need to talk, but John was avoiding it. However he eventually plucked up the courage to ask Aaron to open up to him. But Aaron was defensive and insisted he couldn’t deal with this now.
He said he did care about John and wanted him, but didn’t want to talk about his past. John just couldn’t shake that niggling feeling though, and pushed a bit too hard about Aaron’s feelings – insulting Robert in the process. Talking really isn’t their strong point, is it?

Emmerdale is currently airing some long-running storylines that are not hitting the mark. It’s fair to say fans are fed-up with it – and it’s not the first time plots have failed to impress.
So what other storylines do you remember that didn’t capture your attention? We’ve rounded up the ones lots of Emmerdale fans are talking about.
Tom’s terrible behaviour is bothering fans (Credit: ITV)
The current storylines in Emmerdale
Although Tom’s abusive behaviour towards Belle started off as a masterpiece in soap storytelling, many viewers are getting fed-up. The consensus is that it has dragged on too long and Tom needs to get his comeuppance now.
Sadly, in real life, this sort of behaviour would not be over in a heartbeat, but soaps do have the gift of being able to speed things up or slow things down as they so wish. Fans are now really annoyed and have regularly aired their frustrations over Tom on social media.
“Tom will have arranged all of this… boring storyline,” said one after the Guy storyline on Tuesday November 5.
Another addressed the soap itself: “Dear Emmerdale, wanted to let you know the storyline has become a joke and it’s kind of insensitive to people who go through DV. I mean Tom was banged to rights but you’re doing everything to make him evade justice so now the storyline is boring.”
“The story of Tom is starting to get boring when will he get exposed?” sighed one more.
Meanwhile, Billy, Ross and the illegal fights aren’t fairing much better!
“All this bare knuckle fighting, plastic gangster business would be laughable if it wasn’t so boring,” joked one on X.
Another agreed: “All this fighting stuff needs to stop now. Silly storyline…”
“Emmerdale too much gloom and doom now. This fighting stuff is one of the worst stories ever,” said a third.
Other storylines that have failed in Emmerdale
It’s not the first time fans haven’t been happy with the on-screen antics. In fact they are now discussing it on a Reddit thread: just which storylines have failed to hit the mark?
Good riddance to a bad plot (Credit: ITV)
1. Amit’s whole storyline arc in Emmerdale
Rishi died in a shock move by the soap last year. At the time it seemed he fell down the stairs. However, when his brother Amit arrived, it was revealed he had actually pushed Rishi to his death. They were rowing about inheritance money.
Rishi, a fan favourite, is sorely missed. Amit meanwhile, was evil and unlikable and it was never really clear whether he actually cared about his family or just money.
In the end, Jai found out the truth, pushed Amit down the stairs, locked him up for a few days, then blackmailed him to leave. And he did.
“They killed off great Rishi for that [bleep],” said one fan.
Jessie and Marlon’s wedding day fizzled out – like their marriage (Credit: ITV/Shutterstock)
2. Marlon and Jessie
Remember Marlon’s fourth wife, Jessie Grant? We barely do! But let us refresh your memory. Jessie was Leo’s headteacher, but she was on the rebound from a previous relationship. However there were sparks (we must have missed them) between her and Marlon and they got together and then had a surprise Christmas wedding.
Tensions between Jessie’s sons Ellis and Billy as well as the arrival of her ex, Al Chapman, caused trouble and Jessie decided to leave for a new job in Dubai. Arguably the most emotional part of the whole thing was how little April reacted to losing yet another ‘mother’.
“Zero chemistry from them and therefore zero interest from me,” said one fan.
Another agreed: “Crazy to think that they even gave Marlon and Jessie a big Christmas Day wedding and by the following Christmas they’d already split up!”
Where did Jacob and Victoria go? Nowhere (Credit: ITV)
3. Jacob and Victoria’s romance
They fought against all odds to be together, their love could not be stopped even though they knew it was wrong. And then suddenly Victoria no longer loved Jacob, actually she never had really at all, and she dumped him. It was all a bit for nothing, wasn’t it?
It was scandalous given Victoria had been his sort-of former stepmother, dating his stepdad David. But actually the age difference between her and David was more than that between her and Jacob. We could almost get on board with them falling for each other.
The reactions of their families were also dramatic with David leaving, Pollard struggling to come to terms with it and Leyla not happy at all. But then within weeks Victoria decided it wasn’t right, all the gushing she’d done was actually not real and she dumped Jacob. He’s barely been seen since!
“The Jacob and Victoria romance – where even is he, anyway?” asked one viewer.
Rhona fought and fought for Ivy, now where is she? (Credit: ITV)
4. The Rhona and Ivy storyline in Emmerdale
Rhona Goskirk was completely thrown (as you would be) when she discovered her ex-husband Gus had used their frozen embryos without her permission to have a baby with his new wife, Lucy. Sadly, Lucy died in childbirth and Rhona made it her single-minded mission to get custody of baby Ivy.
It threatened her entire marriage to Marlon, which was left hanging by a thread. She even went on the run with the baby so as not to give her up and ended up in court on kidnap charges. Then she betrayed the deal she’d made with Gus, tore him apart at his fraud trial and got him sentenced to eight years. Thus, giving her custody of Ivy.
That is Ivy who we’ve not seen or heard about since.
There was never going to be any winners in this storyline and all it served to do was make a previously favoured character disliked.
“Rhona getting custody of Ivy went on forever and now you never see her,” said one fan.

In Emmerdale spoilers for tonight (Wednesday November 6) things get worse for Billy when Lucas and Clemmie go missing – and he’s sure Jade had something to do with it.
Meanwhile, Aaron opens up to John, but it doesn’t go well – can these two figure it out?
Billy’s nightmare continues in Emmerdale spoilers tonight
Billy has to tell Dawn what’s going on (Credit: ITV)
1. Clemmie and Lucas go missing
Billy has been backed into a corner by bad boss Jade, who wants him to fight Ross again. Despite his best attempts to stand up to her and tell her it isn’t happening, she isn’t taking no for an answer.
To prove her point, she turned up at Holdgate and tricked Dawn into having a drink with her. Although she played nice, her threat was obvious – I can get to your family.
Billy returned home to find them together and was furious, but Jade made herself very clear: fight Ross again or next time it’ll be your kids I take.
And tonight, Billy thinks she’s done just that. He comes home to find Dawn frantically looking for Clemmie and Lucas. She tells him they are missing and he immediately puts two and two together, gets six, and says Jade has something to do with it.
Dawn’s confused as to why Jade would be involved with their missing kids, but will Billy confess all? And will Clemmie and Lucas be okay?
2. Dawn makes a plan
With Billy on the backfoot, he soon finds he has to come clean. How will Dawn react when she finds out the truth?
Before too long, she is making a plan, but what is it? And who does it involve?
Aaron and John hit a bump in the road in Emmerdale spoilers for tonight

3. John wants answers
With the spectre of Robert hanging over them following news of Rebecca’s death and Seb’s move to Bristol, Aaron has been hit hard. John is worried about how Aaron is feeling and what this means for them.
Victoria advised John to be open with Aaron, but it’s uncomfortable as neither guy really talks about their feelings! However, John bites the bullet and asks Aaron to talk to him about Robert.
4. John pushes too far
Struggling John didn’t realise Robert and Aaron were so deeply involved and is shaken. He continues to press Aaron to reveal more, but Aaron gets defensive and storms out. Can these two make it up?

In Emmerdale spoilers tonight, an uncompromising Jade threatens Ross and Billy into fighting again. With Billy and Ross adamantly against a rematch, Jade takes matters into her own hands – sending her goons to change Ross’s mind.
Elsewhere, Tom is horrified when the Dingles prepare an intimidating bonfire night surprise for him. Shaken by the Dingles’ show of solidarity, he takes his fear out on Amelia. Meanwhile, Bob makes amends with Angelica.
Ross is taken by surprise when he’s jumped by Jade and her thugs. Pushing him to the edge of a bridge, Jade demands that Ross agree to a rematch with Billy. She tells him that she plans on threatening Billy’s family too.
Later, Billy is horrified to find Jade having tea with Dawn, still lying about who she really is. Understanding the implied threat to his family, Billy realises that he has no choice but to fight Ross again.
He tells Ross that he can’t go through with a rematch, but Ross reminds him that Jade has threatened both of their families.
Will they fight again?

2. Tom shows his true colours
It’s bonfire night in the village, and Tom is disturbed when he sees that the ‘Guy’ looks a lot like him. At the bonfire, things are tense as the villagers gather around to watch the ‘Guy’ burn – with each of the Dingles claiming to have made it.
Clearly rattled, Tom loses his cool, taking his bad mood out on Amelia.

This week’s Emmerdale review is full of disbelief! Because we’ve had some very bad news about Rebecca and we’re really sad about it. But there have been some moments that made us laugh, too.
Here’s what’s got us sobbing and chuckling in this week’s Emmerdale review.

We were delighted to hear Ross was coming back! He’s got so much history with people in the village, and we were with him every step of the way when he was coming to terms with the injuries from his acid attack.

Plus the whole set-up barely makes sense – if it was so important for Billy to lose the fight, why not just tell him that? It’s hardly an honest game anyway, so the whole thing being a set-up wouldn’t be a surprise, surely?
Anyway, that aside, the reveal that Ross was Billy’s opponent didn’t thrill us.
BUT despite his yawnworthy arrival, and the knowledge that there is more boxing boredom to come, we are loving Ross being back in the village.

Ross putting Mack in his place in our Emmerdale review
Of course one of the best things about Ross is him putting Mack firmly into his place. We especially enjoyed him calling Mack a “soft turnip” which is exactly what we’re going to call him from now on.

But there’s bad news too, in our Emmerdale review
We loved Rebecca White. Her total disregard for morals, her funny comments, and her redemption storyline after her brain injury all made her one of our fave characters. And we really loved her and Ross bonding over their life-changing injuries (not to mention their love of Real Hairdressers of Harrogate).
So we were devastated to discover that she and Ross had broken up – only to get the news seconds later that Rebecca is dead! WHAT? It’s such sad news, and yet another young woman killed off in soap, albeit off-screen.

Bring back Adam!
We were thrilled to hear Moira’s gone to visit her son Adam. And we are hoping she brings him back with her. Yes, we’ve been hoping that since he left in 2018, but honestly, we’re never giving this up. Never.
Yay, Nicola! (Credit: ITV)
Don’t get on Nicola’s bad side
We are LOVING Nicola’s one-woman campaign against Tom. She’s totally got the measure of him (finally) and she is not giving in. We were so pleased that she took little Carl down to the police station partly because it was the right thing to do, and partly because it proved to her son that she had his back – especially when muppet dad Jimmy clearly doesn’t.
Plus we’re still loving DS Foy. More of him, please!
