What happened in Emmerdale tonight: The truth about Will and Kerry’s night of passion was revealed – but not to Kim, who was in a bad, bad mood

Emmerdale tonight saw the truth about Will and Kerry’s liaison revealed as Kim seethed and decided to turn bad, like, really bad.

Elsewhere, Billy got in a spot of bother and Amelia fought Tom’s corner. Here’s everything that happened in Emmerdale tonight, Wednesday October 9.

Kim was cross over Will and Kerry

Kerry crept down after spending the night with Will and Kim was not best pleased. Kerry made a speedy exit – probably wise.

Will then went boasting to Jimmy about his bedroom athletics with Kerry. Jimmy wasn’t actually impressed – so he has got some sense, then, just not when it comes to Tom!

Meanwhile, in the Hide, Kerry was rubbing it in to Kim’s face. So Kim decided to be bad again – she thinks no one respects her and she wants that respect back by being horrible to everyone around her again. Starting with Amy and her waitressing skills. Not really the right look, Kim, if we’re honest.

It later turned out that Will paid Kerry to pretend they slept together to wind Kim up. So that’s one up for Will, is it?

Come on Emmerdale, enough now. Enough.

Billy was black and blue in Emmerdale tonight

Mack has sorted Billy a car, but Billy said he couldn’t view it. However he then lied to Dawn he was going to view the car. Mack was confused and Billy told him: ‘It’s complicated’. You can say that again (and we’re past caring if we’re honest).

Later on Dawn was waiting for Billy to go with her to collect Evan and he hadn’t come back. Gabby pulled up and offered to drive her instead. They then had a heart-to-heart and it looks like these two are becoming friends, which is exactly what Emmerdale needs, actually, women supporting women rather than being at each other’s throats.

Meanwhile, somewhere in the village, Billy was cowering in pain, bloody and bruised where Mack found him. He refused to go to the doctor or the hospital and admitted he’s been illegally boxing and he fell on something sharp when his opponent body slammed him. Although Mack insisted the hospital was the only option, they agreed on calling John to stitch him up instead.

John agreed to help, got Mack to take his belt off and gave it to Billy to bite down on before he stitched him up. Billy then limped home and gave Dawn a very lame excuse about where he’d been.

After John advised him to stop fighting or he might die and Dawn told him she needed to be able to count on him, a phone call threw everything up in the air for Billy when he was offered double pay for a fight next week. Will he risk everything and accept? And are we really interested in this storyline at all?

Amelia was mean and then said sorry

Sam and Amelia had an awkward exchange in the village as Sam begged her not to cut them off from Esther. Amelia claimed she was keeping Esther safe from violent Belle. Could she be any more annoying?

Amelia later decided she had been wrong about keeping Esther away, so took the little girl to visit. She also gave them a photo for Samson as a peace offering. But then she laid it on thick with Lydia how thoughtful and kind Tom is and how Tom adores her. He’s apparently the perfect gentleman. But Lydia wasn’t buying it and explained her fears for Amelia and Esther.

As they reached a stalemate, it looks like Amelia isn’t going to budge on this one. More’s the pity.

Laurel grossed Arthur (and us!) out

Laurel apologised to Arthur and they agreed to start all over again. But then she bought him a box of condoms and he stormed off in another huff. Talk about embarrassing mum!

4 Emmerdale spoilers for tonight, Wednesday September 9: Billy’s fighting secret is exposed and Amelia tries to make amends

Tonight’s Emmerdale spoilers see Billy’s big secret finally exposed as he winds up on Mack’s doorstep with some serious injuries. He reveals all to Mack, who is left shocked by the state of Billy.

Meanwhile, Lydia seizes an opportunity to speak to Amelia alone. She tries to get her to see sense about Tom.

1. Dawn is let down

Dawn reminds Billy that he can’t be late for the hospital visit to collect Evan. However, Gabby later spots an anxious-looking Dawn. She’s waiting for Billy, who is late, prompting Gabby to offer to take her to the hospital instead.

2. Mack helps an injured Billy

Meanwhile, a bloodied and bruised Billy arrives at Mack’s door, leaving him stunned. Billy begs Mack to help him and refuses to go to a hospital as he’s worried about involving authorities.

Mack helps Billy clean up his wound. He comes clean, admitting he was injured while participating in an unlicensed boxing match. He insists the fights are to help make some money to support his family.Â John soon arrives to help stitch Billy up.

3. Amelia offers an olive branch

Feeling guilty about having upset Sam and Lydia, Amelia decides to offer an olive branch. She gives Sam a photograph of Esther to pass on to Samson in prison. Amelia’s gesture leaves Sam and Lydia hopeful that things are on the mend.

4. Can Lydia make Amelia see sense?

Lydia walks Amelia and Esther out of the Dingles and takes the opportunity to speak to her alone. Amelia attempts to convince Lydia she’s wrong about Tom.

But, can Lydia speak sense into Amelia before its too late?

5 Emmerdale spoilers for tonight, Tuesday October 8: Kim contemplates her relationship and Mack grows suspicious of Billy

Tonight’s Emmerdale spoilers see Kim wonder if there’s hope for hers and Will’s relationship. She doesn’t get the satisfaction she was hoping for from upsetting Will, and Lydia soon provides her with some food for thought.

Elsewhere, Nicola becomes an unlikely support to Arthur. She urges him to reconcile with Laurel, but this doesn’t go down well.Â Also, Billy continues to be secretive while Sam and Lydia are left wondering how to help Amelia.

1. Will’s anger

Having flaunted her stunning look in front of Will and Jimmy before heading out with her financial advisor, Peter, Kim appears pleased with herself. She feels she’s managed to rattle Will.

Later on, Peter and Kim upset Will even further. He soon sees red however and punches Peter to the floor.

2. Lydia gives Kim advice

Lydia finds Kim sitting in Home Farm alone, contemplating her relationship with Will. Kim admits she doesn’t feel as good as she thought she would from upsetting Will.Â Lydia implies that maybe Kim and Will still love each other.

Later, Kerry spots Will looking sad. Will she unwittingly stop Kim’s plan to patch things up with Will?

3. Will Arthur listen?

Laurel and Arthur’s relationship is in turmoil due to Nicola coaxing a confession out of Arthur. However, Nicola decides to play peacemaker and becomes Arthur’s unlikely confidante.

She offers him advice and urges him to reconcile with Laurel. But, Nicola’s efforts are not appreciated by Laurel, who soon creates a war with Nicola over her interfering.

5. Sam and Lydia reflect

Will is seen downing pints outside the Woolpack as he nurses his broken heart. Sam and Lydia spot him and his sadness prompts them to reflect on their own family issues.

The couple feel at a loss to see Tom’s manipulation working on Amelia. Will Sam and Lydia be able to help Amelia see sense?

Billy’s lies continue to get deeper in new Emmerdale spoilers for next week as he agrees to another unlicensed boxing match. With Mack being the only person who knows about his secret way of making cash, Billy pleads with him to stay quiet about what he’s been doing.

Mack is the only person who knows Billy has been taking part in illegal boxing matches to earn cash for his family. With Evan being sick, Dawn off work and the family having moved out of Home Farm, things are tight.

Bills to pay means Billy has had to find a way of making some extra income. He is lying to Dawn that his PT business is soaring. But actually he’s boxing in unlicensed fights for money.

Mack sworn to secrecy

Next week, Billy tells Mack he’s going to agree to another fight, but pleads with Mack to keep it a secret. Mack says he will keep Billy’s fights a secret. He also insists he wants to help him.

Tensions at Home Farm in Emmerdale spoilers

Over at their former home, Home Farm, things are getting confusing between Kim and Will. Kim is taken aback following a tender moment between them and he also supports her when news arrives of her friend Zak Dingle’s death.

Will meanwhile, is also making amends with Dawn – albeit gradually. He wants to help with their money worries and gives her some cash as well as promising to negotiate a loan. She’s grateful – could it be that she’s finally forgiven her dad for something she shouldn’t really have been that mad about in the first place?!

Will’s help aside, Billy is determined to provide for his family. He continues keeping his secret from Dawn. He is adamant he is going ahead with his next boxing match in a bid to provide a better life for Dawn and the kids. But will this end in tragedy?

1. Tom manipulates Isaac

Isaac has Tom’s tablet and Tom wants it back, so he lurks around watching the little lad. When he finally catches Isaac alone, Tom asks for it and Isaac says it’s at home, but tells Tom where the spare key is.

2. Tom sneaks into Butlers

Happy to have got some intel, Tom sneaks into Butlers and looks for the tablet. However, Matty arrives and Tom is forced to hide. Will he get the tablet without getting caught?

3. Belle begs Moira for help

After Moira saw incriminating messages on Tom’s iPad, she had a seizure and forgot about them. But she did leave Belle a voicemail hinting at the evidence. Belle asks Moira if she has remembered anything at all that could help her. Sadly Moira doesn’t.

And when Belle sees Tom, who intimidates her, bragging he’s going to win in court, Belle feels like there’s no way out.

4. Tom caught

Tom later takes the tablet out at home and thinking he’s alone, begins to smash it up to destroy the evidence. But Carl is watching everything and Tom has no idea. Has he slipped up? And will this lead to his downfall?

5. Billy continues to hide things from Dawn

Still getting secret phone calls, Billy isn’t being honest with Dawn. He also hides a pair of boxing gloves from her. When he then asks Mack about buying a cheap car, Mack is suspicious Billy’s suddenly come into money.

6. Billy seriously injured

As Dawn reminds Billy he can’t be late as they are bringing Evan home from hospital, he gets in serious trouble. Turning up on Mack’s doorstep bloodied and bruised, he begs Mack to help him and won’t go to hospital.

7. Billy’s secret revealed

8. Will tries to make amends

9. Will lashes out

Kim later comes downstairs dressed to kill as she has a dinner date with her financial advisor, Peter. Will is fuming and Kim is pleased she’s got to him. But when she and Peter upset him further, Will lashes out and punches Peter to the floor.

10. Kim has regrets

Lydia finds Kim sitting at Home Farm clearly troubled. Kim confides she doesn’t feel as good as she thought she would getting revenge on Will. Lydia thinks they still love each other, but is she right?

Kerry sees Will is low and decides to make her move… But with Kim planning the make things up, will Kerry be the final nail in the couples’ marriage?

15. Can Amelia make amends?

Lydia then works to convince Amelia of the truth, but will she manage to change her mind?

Emmerdale spoilers: Billy’s secret is revealed as he gets seriously injured and begs Mack for help

Billy’s been hiding something, and the shocking truth is revealed in next week’s Emmerdale spoilers. Dawn’s husband has been competing in underground boxing, and he turns to Mack for help after sustaining a nasty injury. But will his mate keep his secret?

It’s been an incredibly difficult year for the Fletcher family. Not only have Billy and Dawn endured the trauma of Evan’s leukemia battle, they’ve also had to leave the comforts of Home Farm.Â Money is in short supply, but it seems Billy may have found a lucrative sideline.

Viewers will know Billy is keeping a secret. He’s been making furtive calls to someone, and there’s no way that wad of cash Dawn found was just ‘savings’ as he claimed.

Next week, Billy is seen concealing a pair of boxing gloves from his wife. Is this reason he’s suddenly in the money?

Mack grows suspicious of Billy

Finally there’s a bit of good news when the doctors give Dawn and Billy the all clear to bring Evan home from hospital.

Billy pays Mack a visit and asks if he’ll help find him a cheap car. He agrees to help, but is suspicious of Billy’s newfound wealth and an injury he appears to be nursing.

The following day, Mack gets a lead on a motor while Dawn reminds Billy they can’t be late in collecting Evan. But it seems Billy has lost track of time when he fails to show.

Thankfully Gabby comes to Dawn’s rescue and gives her a lift to the hospital. But where has Billy disappeared to?

Billy makes a confession in Emmerdale spoilers

Mack is horrified when he opens his door to find a bloodied and bruised Billy standing there. It’s clear Billy is in a bad way as he shows Mack a deep gash on the side of his torso. But he won’t listen to his friend’s plea to goÂ to hospital through fear of the authorities getting involved.

While Mack tries to stem the bleeding, Billy finally admits the truth – he’s been competing in unlicensed boxing matches. He acknowledges it’s a dangerous pastime, but explains he’s been doing it provide for his family.

Paramedic John soon arrives to help stitch Billy’s wound back up. But how on earth is he going to explain this one to Dawn?

Will Billy’s injury be a wake up call for him to stop? Or is he going to carry on risking his life by fighting?

Fans work out Billyâ€™s secret â€˜mateâ€™ – and itâ€™s not Kim

If there’s one thing Emmerdale loves it’s a secretive phone call and now it’s Billy Fletcher making them – but the question is: to who?

Speculation so far has everyone convinced he’s been working with Kim to blackmail Will. But one key moment last night suggested this was a red herring and he’s not working with her at all.

Instead, a new theory puts someone else behind it – and it’s someone we know very well indeed…

Billy keeps secrets in Emmerdale

Last night (Thursday September 20) Kim was revealed to be Will’s blackmailer. It was the most anticlimactic reveal ever given most of us had already worked it out. But what wasn’t clear was who had dug that massive grave for her and put the coffin in – surely she must have had an accomplice?

All viewer eyes were then on Billy, when he started acting shiftily. It seemed too convenient when he made excuses to Dawn that he had a last minute PT client booked and had to dash.

But he dropped his bag and when Dawn checked in it, she found a wad of crisp notes. It instantly raised her hackles because they have been struggling to pay their bills. So why would Billy sit on so much cash instead of helping the family out.

She confronted him and he made up an excuse about wanting to surprise her with a holiday. He insisted he had been saving up from his PT clients payments for a while.

Dawn bought it, but told him no holiday until they’d paid their bills. Billy agreed before making another secretive phone call asking for more work – whatever was going, he didn’t mind.

So we know it’s not PT work as this is definitely dodgy. But what we don’t know is who the person on the other end of the line was.

Who was Billy calling?

Although many are convinced he’s Kim’s righthand man, in fact, we think he gave the game away when he called the person ‘Mate’. Come on, who in their right mind would call Kim Tate ‘mate’? Definitely not if they valued their body parts!

So that leads us to wonder who else it could be and some fans have come up with a clever theory: it’s none other than Ross Barton.

“Could Billy be involved with Ross?!” wrote one on social media. Another also questioned: “Is Billy’s partner in crime going to be Ross Barton?”

“What if the person Billy was calling is Ross?” queried one more.

The comeback of Ross Barton was teased earlier this week in a social media video. Emmerdale later confirmed it with a press release and new images of the man in question.

He is back in the Dales after six years, but details of why he returns are being kept under wraps. However, with him due back on screen this autumn, they may well be setting up his comeback storyline right now.

Could he somehow be involved with Billy? Where Ross Barton goes, trouble inevitably follows, so will Billy get in a mess?

5 Spoilers for Thursday September 19: Will’s blackmailer strikes again as they take Kim hostage and shifty Billy lies to Dawn’s face

In tonight’s gripping Emmerdale spoilers, Will recieves a call from his blackmailer to say they’ve taken Kim hostage. Will is lured to the woods in search of his wife, where a chilling discovery awaits.

Also in Emmerdale on Thursday September 19, Billy is harbouring a huge secret from Dawn. And Ryan is gutted when Gail rejects the idea of them living together.

The clock is ticking for Will in Emmerdale spoilers

1. Will’s blackmailer is awaiting payment

Will’s blackmailer isn’t going to stop until they’ve squeezed every last penny from him. They’ve upped their demand to Â£50k, which left Will in a sweat because he knew he didn’t have the cash to hand.

Desperate times called for desperate measures and Will was forced to turn to Caleb for help. He asked for a loan in return for his shares in Home James Haulage – and cunning Caleb was only too happy to oblige.

The transfer was duly made, and now Will has the full sum to pay his tormentor. But will that be the end of it? As if!

2. Will panics after Kim goes missing

Will sends his blackmailer a text to say he’s got their money and awaits further instruction.

He then goes to find Jimmy and ‘fesses up about the deal with Caleb. Jimmy is outraged and can’t believe Will would put their business at such risk. Is this the final nail in the coffin for their friendship?

Afterwards, Will returns to Home Farm for lunch, only to discover Kim has gone AWOL. Where has she gone?

3. Will makes a gruesome discovery in the woods

As Will tries to figure out what’s happened to his wife he receives a call from his blackmailer to say they’ve abducted Kim.

Will is informed that she’s been taken to a woodland area and is summoned there to save her. Will follows his stalker’s instruction and arrives at the destination.

What he finds there is a creepy mannequin, dressed up to look like Kim lying on the ground. This is getting more bonkers by the minute!

Over at Holdgate, Dawn wants to know what Billy is up to after finding a wad of notes in the house.

She confronts her husband about the dosh, but he brushes it off – saying he was saving up to buy her a surprise. Oh come off it!

Billy might have Dawn fooled, but he’s clearly lying to her face. And as his wife goes back upstairs, Billy whips his phone out and calls someone asking for more work. So what’s this shifty sideline all about then?

5. Gail wants to move on

Ryan fears for the future of his relationship when girlfriend Gail drops a bombshell on him.

She tells Ryan she wants to find a new place to live, and she wants to live by herself.

The Woolpack landlord is gutted as it dashes his dreams of them living together. Will Ryan be able to convince Gail to move in with him instead?

Emmerdale spoilers: Billy makes a mystery phone call as he lies to Dawn about his finances

Billy is hiding something from Dawn, and in Emmerdale spoilers for next week, he spins her a lie about his finances. With his wife out of earshot, Billy then makes a furtive call asking someone for more work. What’s he up to?

There’s drama for Dawn and Billy in Emmerdale spoilers

It really hasn’t been the easiest year for Billy and Dawn. The Fletchers were dealt the cruelest of blows when baby son Evan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the start of 2024. The tot has been undergoing treatment since, which has been hard on the whole family.

Dawn’s estranged mum, Rose also reentered her life. After a difficult reunion, Dawn slowly began to rebuild her relationship with the woman who’d walked out when she was a toddler. But what Dawn didn’t realise at the time was that Rose was working with Ruby to destroy Will and Kim’s lives.

When the truth did emerge, Dawn also discovered Will and Kim had paid Rose to leave the village then covered it up. Dawn forgave her mum for what she’d done, but couldn’t get past Will’s lies. She disowned her dad and declared she wanted nothing more to do with him.

Dawn, Billy and Evan then packed their bags and moved out of Home Farm. Having left the comforts of the country manor, the trio relocated to Holdgate, where they’re now paying landlord Jai an eye-watering monthly rent to live in his pad.

You’d think money would be in short supply, but Billy seems to have laid his hands on some. Now unless he’s suddenly upped his charge for PT sessions, something shifty is definitely going on.

Billy is rumbled

Dawn is surprised when she comes across a wad of crisp notes hidden in the house and decides to confront Billy. Dawn demands to know where he got that sum of money from and why he kept it from her.

But instead of telling Dawn the truth, Billy makes out it’s money he was saving towards a surprise for her. Yeah right!

Billy makes a secret phone call

As Dawn heads back upstairs, Billy pulls his phone out to make a secret call.

Speaking in hushed tones so his wife can’t hear, Billy asks the person on the other end for more work. That sounds very dodgy to us.

So what exactly is Billy up to? Who is paying him? And why is he hiding it from Dawn?

9 Emmerdale spoilers for next week: Will’s blackmailer kidnaps Kim and Billy hides a secret

Emmerdale spoilers next week reveal that Will Taylor is thrown into a panic when his blackmailer ups their game – claiming to have kidnapped Kim. As he sets off in pursuit, Will makes a shocking discovery in the woods…

Elsewhere, Jai tries to make things right with upset Arthur, and Ryan is left unhappy by Gail’s news. Meanwhile, sneaky Billy hides a secret from Dawn, and Jimmy and Lydia exchange tense words.

1. Will’s blackmail continues

Will panics when his blackmailer ups their demand to Â£50k. In his desperation, Will asks Caleb for a loan in exchange for his shares in the storage business.

2. Will feels hopeful in Emmerdale spoilers

With Caleb having accepted his offer, Will is in a good mood and makes big promises to Kim. However, his cheer evaporates when the blackmailer messages demanding payment.

The next day, with Caleb’s cash in hand, he texts his blackmailer. He then goes to see Jimmy and confesses to his deal with Caleb. Jimmy is left fuming at the betrayal.

3. Kim kidnapped?

Will returns home to find Kim missing. He then gets a call from his blackmailer, claiming to have kidnapped his wife. Will follows their instructions, arriving in a secluded patch of the woods, looking for his wife.

4. Into the woods

Will is shocked when he finds a mannequin dressed like Kim. Goaded by the kidnapper, he goes deeper into the woods. But what waits for him in the wilderness?

5. Jai tries to mend his relationship with Arthur

Jai feels encouraged when Charles tells him that he should do whatever it takes to stay in Arthur’s life. However, the teen has other ideas – and continues to ignore him.

The next day, Arthur brings a date – Lewis – home. Unsure what to do next, the lads feel nervous. Later, Jai spots Arthur and Lewis hiding empty beer cans. As Lewis leaves, Arthur worries that Jai might tell Laurel about his date.
