Spoilers: Caleb takes action over Ruby after discovering her plot against Kim

It’s game over for Ruby Fox-Miligan in next week’s Emmerdale spoilers when Kim Tate outs her dirty secret to Caleb Miligan.

Kim informs Caleb that his wife has been plotting with Rose Jackson to ruin her life. But how will he react to news of Ruby going behind his back like this?

Is Ruby’s cunning scheme about to cost her everything?

Kim is out to get Ruby in Emmerdale spoilers

From the moment Ruby declared her intention to bring down Kim it seemed like mission impossible. Sure, Ruby is ruthless and sharp, but this is Kim Tate, the OG villainess of Emmerdale. No one gets the better of her, or rarely lives to tell the tale.

It’s taken Kim a little while to work out who had it in for her. She originally suspected Caleb was masterminding the operation and torched his business in revenge.

But Kim now knows that it’s Ruby who’s been pulling the strings and getting Rose to do her dirty work. Rose appears to have been dealt with – although no one is quite sure what Kim has done with her.

Next, it’s time for Kim to give Ruby a taste of her own medicine.

    Kim tells Caleb EVERYTHING!

Approaching Caleb, Kim drops Ruby right in it and takes real pleasure in doing so. She doesn’t hold back as she reveals the lengths her enemy has gone to try and break up her family.

With the sordid truth laid bare, Ruby fears Caleb’s reaction. He’s no stranger to deception, and even made his own bid to topple Kim from her throne. But Caleb’s also been attempting to turn his life round in the wake of Nicky’s departure.

Ruby and Caleb’s son fled Emmerdale after growing tired of his parents’ constant lies and manipulation. And now Ruby’s gone and done it again.

Will Caleb condone her behaviour or turn against his scheming spouse?

Emmerdale spoilers: Ruby fears what Caleb will do next

Instead of reading Ruby the riot act, Caleb opts to give her the silent treatment. It’s an intriguing move and one which leaves Ruby in total panic.

She’s got no idea what’s going through Caleb’s head or what he’s going to do next. Ruby suddenly feels out of control and she doesn’t like that at all.

Ruby’s puzzlement continues when Caleb suggests they go on a drive. He takes her to a mysterious depot before parking up and getting out.

Caleb clearly wants Ruby to take a look at the place. But why? What is Caleb up to now? And how does Ruby fit into that plan?

What happened in Emmerdale tonight: Ruby confessed, Josh and Samson exposed

Ruby questioned her future after confessing

Ruby blames Caleb for Nicky’s departure and doesn’t want to talk to him. Things are more than a little bit tense chez Miligan.

Over at the Anderson house, Charles was determined to get back to helping people of the church. But as Claudette sang Caleb and Ruby’s praises, Charles blurted out that Caleb had run Ethan down.

However, instead of being angry, Claudette sought Ruby out to offer her sympathy over Nicky’s exit. Ruby couldn’t lie any longer though and confessed she was the one driving the car.

As Ruby tried to explain herself to Claudette, Charles overheard everything. Claudette insisted it had to stop, they had to accept God’s will that Ethan was dead. “We have to move on and rebuild what we’ve got.” She then said it was enough to know the truth and it had to be over. Both Charles and Ruby agreed to draw a line under it.

However one person who Ruby still wasn’t interested in forgiving was Caleb. It soon became clear she was questioning their future as she told him: “If I stay here with you, I’ve lost [Nicky] forever.” As Caleb questioned what she meant by ‘if’, she walked away.

Is this the end of Ruby and Caleb?

Laurel insisted it was over in Emmerdale tonight

Jai remained convinced it was the drugs talking and Laurel didn’t mean it when she said they’re done. Nicola told him blankly he was delusional and it was over, but Jai is in denial.

Jai visited Laurel in hospital and tried to gaslight her into thinking she was muddled from the painkillers. Laurel was very firm: they are over. She demanded he stop visiting her to help her avoid stress.

Gabby walked in at that moment and overheard everything. Jai was confronted by Gabby after Laurel told her the truth. Gabby was not happy – but what can she actually do about it?

Meanwhile, young Archie was non-the-wiser about all that was going on. He wanted to know about Laurel’s well-being and wanted to see his uncle Suni. Jai couldn’t bring himself to explain to his son what was really going on and spun him a tall tale – angering Gabby even further.

As Jai tried in vain to contact Suni, it looks like he’s lost everything. But is it no more than he deserves?

    Sarah exposed Josh

At Charity’s place, Sarah was supposed to be tidying up, but she was getting messages from Josh and he then turned up wanting to know why she was ignoring his texts. Sarah said it was for the best, but he persisted and persisted and got down on one knee begging. She agreed to one drink.

The Woolpack might not have been the best place if they wanted to go under the radar, but that’s where they went. And it soon became very clear Sarah was warming to him.

Josh then confessed he and Samson were planning to leave sooner than planned and weren’t going to bother turning up to be witnesses at Matty’s trial. Sarah began to realise Josh wasn’t actually the nice guy he was making out.

Mack then arrived and dragged Sarah home, which made her fuming. But when she let slip Josh and Samson were moving their trip forward, Mack realised exactly why – that he was lying and didn’t want to testify. With Josh’s plot exposed, what will Mack do about it?

    Caleb confronted by Charles

Charles was snoring his head off on Caleb and Ruby’s sofa and neither Ruby nor Nicky were happy about it at all. “Have you gone absolutely mental?” Nicky shrieked, waking Charles up. He had a point, but maybe he should have lowered his voice.

Later, Charles was telling Caleb how grateful he is for all his support. Then he spilt his coffee all over the rug and insisted on cleaning it up. But while he was getting a cloth he pocketed a letter he spotted.

Charles then insisted on driving Caleb into Hotten for his meeting. But in fact, Charles drove him down a country path into the middle of nowhere. Caleb started to get concerned – took him long enough!

Somehow he agreed to walk with Charles and they ended up deep in the woods. Caleb tried to leave, but Charles got aggressive and demanded to know what happened to Ethan. He had found an invoice from the garage dated the day after Ethan’s accident and deduced Caleb was involved.

Caleb feigned ignorance and tried to talk Charles down. But he was having none of it and wanted answers. Caleb then confessed he ran Ethan over. He claimed Ruby knows nothing about it.

Charles threatened to report Caleb to the police, but Caleb insisted he had a water-tight alibi and he would deny everything. As Charles pinned Caleb up against a tree in a rage, Caleb begged him to calm down.

Charles eventually lost puff and told him to stay away from him and his family.

Defeated Charles returned home with all the fight gone out of him. Caleb then tried to cover his tracks and get their stories straight. But Nicky refused to lie. So where do the Miligans go from here?

    Matty confessed in Emmerdale tonight

With Matty was cowering in his prison cell as his cellmate did press ups, Robbo came in and started intimidating him. But Les defended Matty and told Robbo to get lost.

However later Les offered some wisdom that Matty would be better coming clean rather than sneaking off with the staff and raising suspicions. He thought Matty was on methadone, but Matty then decided to reveal his actual secret.

Les was actually really interested and asked a lot of questions. He offered his support, but warned Matty other people might not take it so well. Has Matty done the right thing?

    Laurel told Jai they’re done

Laurel definitely had a heart attack and has undergone an angioplasty to widen the artery, which according to Nicola went well.

At the hospital, Gabby was quizzing Jai over why he and Laurel were arguing. But he wasn’t giving anything away. And when Laurel woke up he insisted he would do anything she needed to get her better.

He’d clearly forgotten her ultimatum, but Laurel hadn’t, especially when she realised he hadn’t told Suni. She insisted he had to do it today.

And when Suni came to visit Laurel Jai still couldn’t do it and so she told Suni everything instead.

As the fallout continued, Laurel confided in Nicola and said she didn’t think she could be married to Jai any more. He wanted to put it all behind them, but she had had enough: “I mean it this time. We’re done.”

Nicky and Suni left in Emmerdale tonight

As Jai begged Suni for forgiveness, Suni was not in a forgiving mood at all. “I’m done with you,” Suni told him.

He then returned home to Nicky and told him what had happened. He said he needed to get as far away from this place as possible and begged Nicky to come with him.

Nicky, who had been wanting to leave for ages, had a change of heart and said he couldn’t leave his mum! However after finding out Caleb had lied to Charles, Nicky said he was done.

He then agreed to leave with Suni. They packed their bags, and their snacks, and Nicky apologised to Charles. Ruby caught them leaving and begged them to stay. But Nicky wasn’t budging on his decision. They got in the car and drove out of Emmerdale.

So it’s bye bye to Suni and Nicky as they drove off into the sunset.

    Emmerdale tonight: Mandy caused trouble

Mandy was in a state as the beauticians is quiet and she doesn’t have enough work. Paddy tried to cheer her up suggesting they set a wedding date. She didn’t seem keen, worrying Paddy.

Paddy then wanted to double date with Marlon and Rhona – something else Mandy did not seem happy with. Especially when she saw what games Paddy was planning on playing.

It definitely wasn’t a scintillating evening as Mandy drunk more and more and then wanted to dance instead of play. She went on to insult Rhona, telling her she was up tight. Not a great foursome, then.

His relationship with Cain has been particularly stormy, although the brothers are thick as thieves for now.

Caleb’s wife Ruby recently arrived in the village and the pair enjoyed a passionate reunion which proved they’re still very much an item.

Ruby quickly discovered Caleb had been having an affair with his nephew Nate’s wife Tracy and outed the pairs’ infidelity at Belle Dingle’s wedding.

Proud William recently praised his cousin’s performance saying: “He’s been fantastic. It’s a shame, actually, that he’s going to have to eventually leave because he’s been brilliant in it. And he’s a top lad.”

And when William joined Emmerdale, Peter was made up for his family member. He tweeted: “Yes! This is my cousin Will. He’s an absolutely fantastic actor, and was one of my big inspirations for getting into acting myself.

“Can’t wait to see him do his stuff in Emmerdale.”
