In Emmerdale spoilers for tonight, Steph continues to try and get Ruby to forgive Anthony. And Kim gets emotional at Will’s request.
Last night’s episode (Thursday December 12) was an incredibly hard-hitting instalment of the soap. We finally got answers to why Ruby hates Anthony, and it was sadly exactly what fans predicted.
We can only imagine that the storyline has more twists to come, especially as an unknowing Steph is still adamant to bring them together.
But elsewhere in the village, Will proposes an idea to Kim that leaves her emotional and him guilty. Is he in too deep with this plan?
Emmerdale spoilers: Steph continues to force Ruby and Anthony together. (Credit: ITV)
Emmerdale spoilers: Steph doesn’t give up.
Everything about Ruby and her father’s relationship made sense after yesterday’s episode. Including why he didn’t want her around when she was pregnant.
Ruby was sexually assaulted by Anthony when she was a child. And while the flashbacks only showed her 16th birthday, it was clear that was not the first time.
Caleb also emphasised that Steph was his daughter, so could Emmerdale be about to pull a hugely dark twist where she is really Anthony’s? The timings do line up..
But while we, as viewers, know this, her on-screen family remain oblivious. Which means Steph hasn’t given up her attempts to get them to be a united family.
Tonight, she once again uses her best efforts to bring her family together again. We doubt it’s ever going to work, but when will the truth be revealed?
Kim gets emotional over Will’s proposal. (Credit: ITV)
Earlier in the week the pair returned from their trip, and Peter revealed to Will that there was someone else they were working for. Someone who desperately wanted to take Kim down.
We know we’re getting a Christmas Day return, and fans have been bombarding social media with their predictions – Joe Tate? Jamie Tate?
But tonight an oblivious Kim continues to put effort into their Christmas together, to represent a new start to their relationship.
However, that’s not the case with Will. Doing what he was told to do by Peter, Will proposes they renew their vows on Christmas Day.
The question makes Kim extremely emotional, as the Tate icon hasn’t got a clue about his secret plan.

As Moira and Liam attempt to get to the bottom of what’s wrong with Cain, the guilt-ridden Dingle feels like he has no option but to confess all.
Will Cain tell Moira about his affair with Ruby?
Elsewhere, uncomfortable at Anthony’s continued presence in her life, Ruby has conflicting feelings as she attempts to build bridges with Steph.
All these Emmerdale spoilers tonight and more for Wednesday, December 11.

Emmerdale spoilers for the new year have revealed that viewers will be treated to five exciting flashforwards, giving everyone a hint of the drama that will unfold in the village in 2025.
But who will the flashforwards feature and what will they reveal?
The calm before the storm at Home Farm? (Credit: ITV)
Home Farm mayhem
As the new year dawns at Home Farm, things aren’t looking good for 2025 chez Tate/Taylor.
As eerie music plays, it’s clear there’s been a struggle in the deserted house. The Christmas tree is overturned with decorations strewn on the floor. Where is Kim? Where is Will?
Jacob’s career as a doctor is stepping up, with a special episode focusing on his first day in his placement in A&E.
We can’t help but wonder if one of the flashforwards will feature him. And let’s not forget, those rumours that his mum, Leyla, will be killed off, aren’t going away. Perhaps the flashforward will hint at a tragedy in Jacob’s future?

Ruby out of control?
We love Ruby so we hate to see her life spiralling out of control with the reappearance of her dad, and her dalliance with Cain messing with her head.
Could Ruby be involved in a flashforward, coming hot on the heels from this week’s flashBACK?
Perhaps a glimpse as to the future for her relationship with Caleb, which let’s face it, is pretty toxic.

Emmerdale spoilers: The end of Coira?
Secrets never stay secret for long in Soapland – we all know that. Because Cain is looking shifty every time Moira talks to him and Ruby is falling apart, we think this is one secret that will be common knowledge by the new year.
Perhaps one flashforward will show the end of our beloved Coira? We’re not sure if they can come back from this, can they?

Deflated, Cain tries to appeal to Swirling’s better nature and asks for the chance to have one private conversation with Moira on the phone.
The request is granted. Moira remains composed but she feels gutted at Cain’s callousness and is aghast to hear what he has done. However, she shares the news that her results were clear. But later, she admits to a heartbroken Matty that she’ll need radiotherapy and they cry together.
But Ruby isn’t impressed by her dad’s actions. Defending Caleb and her own decision to move on from the affair, Ruby is left unsettled by unconvinced Anthony’s persistent questioning.

Robert return on Christmas Day speculated
After show boss Iain Macleod said in an interview with Digital Spy back in September: “This Christmas, there is a huge surprise arrival on Christmas Day,” many fans have speculated it’s the return of Robert Sugden.
Currently serving time in prison for killing sister Victoria’s rapist Lee Posner, Robert was Aaron’s one true love. They weathered many a storm together, but Rob let Aaron go when he was sent down.
Aaron has proved he’s not quite forgotten Robert – as displayed when he found out Rebecca had died and left Robert’s son, who Aaron doted on, without a mother. John picked up on his residual feelings for Robert and it made things awkward.
But after actually talking about it, they decided to move on and move forward together. This declaration of love is the next stage in that. But could Robert return and mess everything up again? Who knows, but it’s certainly what the fans want!
