Tom twists the narrative in Emmerdale spoilers
Belle and Tom’s split seems final, but Tom still has his eye on his wife. As Belle attempts to return to normality, Tom observes from a distance.
As Belle reconciles with Vinny, the pair share a warm chat and a hug. Meanwhile, Tom watches from afar, glowering at the scene unfolding before him.
Later, he tells Nicola how Vinny is clearly making a move on Belle, painting her in a bad light. Unwitting Nicola soon finds herself offering Tom a place to stay at the family home.

Tom puts a plan into motion
Tom tells Belle that, as he’s now staying with Jimmy and Nicola, she might as well move back into their old home… well, with the rent already paid, it would be silly not to.
As Belle falls into his trap, Tom orchestrates the next stage in his plan. As a locksmith changes the locks for Belle, he manages to obtain a secret key for himself.

The cast of Emmerdale have showered stars Eden-Taylor Draper and James Chase with praise following last night’s ‘INCREDIBLE’ (to quote Mandy Dingle star Lisa Riley) episode of the soap.
In a culmination of months of abuse, Belle Dingle finally broke free of abusive husband Tom King’s campaign of terror. This came as he brought her and pup Piper out to an isolated cottage in Wales, where he hoped to start their new life.

Belle flees as Tom turns the screw
Belle was horrified as Tom turned up his cycle of abuse, reprimanding her for a dry roast and burned toast. He then locked poor Piper out in the garden overnight, while locking Belle in the house.
As his manipulation turned violent – striking Belle while he mansplained a story to her, Belle began to realise that it was make-or-break for their marriage – as in, she needed to make a break for it.

Emmerdale stars praise ‘incredible’ performances of Eden Taylor-Draper and James Chase
As the episode ended, with Belle boarding a bus away from a rampaging Tom, the actors’ co-stars took to Instagram to praise Eden Taylor-Draper and James Chase, who play Belle and Tom.
“Phenomenal, that finale,” said Ella Forster actor Paula Lane, in an Instagram story.
“INCREDIBLE, INCREDIBLE, INCREDIBLE. @swedentd @justjimmychasing @seanhealy.jnr on tonight’s gripping episode. Edge of your seat all the way – a tough watch, this story is going on in so many households – what a team, you should all be so proud of yourselves. Such power in this episode. Mr Sean, BRAVO,” wrote Lisa Riley, tagging in the episode’s director, Sean Healy.
“Well done Eden, Jimmy. You brilliant girl, so proud of you,” said Isabel Hodgins, who plays Victoria Sugden on the soap.
“Absolutely outstanding episode of Emmerdale tonight… all concerned smashed it,” wrote former Emmerdale star and Dan Spencer actor Liam Fox.
“Well done Emmerdale a powerful episode tonight. Felt sick watching it! Well done Eden and Jimmy incredible work,” agreed Amy Walsh, who plays Tracy Robinson.
“Such a tough but important story,” said Matty Barton star Ash Palmisciano.

Fans of Emmerdale have heaped praise upon one performer in last night’s episode of the soap – Piper! Amid a terrifying showdown between abused housewife Belle Dingle and the demented Tom King, poor pup Piper continued to steal everyone’s thunder.
The most recent episode of the soap was a flashback which showed what happened during Belle and Tom’s fateful holiday to Wales. Tracking Belle down to the remote cottage, Cain and Charity were horrified to find her gone – with blood smeared all over the walls.

Inside Belle and Piper’s ordeal
Scenes aired on Wednesday July 24 showed Tom continuing to torment Belle – and her little dog too.
Infuriated by a wet and muddy Piper, Tom told Belle that if she couldn’t train Piper properly, then he would. He then marched Piper outside, locking her out overnight. After he left the house, locking Belle inside, she climbed out of a window to give Piper water and food. She then snuck back inside as Tom returned.
Tom’s manipulation of the situation continued as he told Belle that she was being cruel to the dog by not bringing her inside, denying that he had locked her in the house.
As the episode aired, a number of fans took to social media to praise the cast. And this included plenty of shout-outs for little Piper.
“Just watched tonight’s Emmerdale. Absolutely superb stuff. More like a movie than a soap. Hats off to the cast and crew tonight. Brilliant stuff. And more importantly Piper. They always say ‘Never work with animals’ in TV & film but that dog has been a trooper!” exclaimed one viewer, via X.
“Well how many of us were shouting good Piper when he came to call – and Belle got away,” said another.
“Great acting both – and Piper,” wrote a third.
“Little Piper all muddy shivering and shaking outside the house on Emmerdale made me so sad,” another fan said.
Belle and Tom seem to have escaped their tormentor for now… but is their ordeal over for good?
Belle Dingle finally made a run from abusive husband Tom King in last night’s episode of Emmerdale. Climbing aboard a waiting bus, it seemed as though Belle had escaped her husband’s reign of terror once and for all.
This came as their romantic getaway soured, with Tom putting his plan to forever isolate Belle from her friends and family from the Dales into action. As the pair hunkered down in a remote cottage in Wales, Tom’s true colours didn’t take long to re-emerge.

Belle flees as Tom attacks
After locking pup Piper outside overnight, Tom continued his abuse of Belle, sending her spinning to the floor with a violent slap. As she cowered on the floor, bleeding, while Tom ranted at her, something snapped within Belle.
Snatching up Piper, she fled from the house, locking Tom inside. This gave Belle the distance she needed to run – making her way across the Welsh wilderness to the road, where she managed to flag down a solitary bus.
As Tom raged, Belle and Piper climbed aboard… finally free of terrible Tom.
But for how long?

Emmerdale fans worry that Tom might catch Belle
As the credits rolled on the episode, a number of soap fans fretted that Belle’s escape may not be so clear-cut. Indeed, some wondered whether Tom might catch up with his wife still.
“We’ve still got Friday yet…” warned one fan on Reddit, as viewers cheered on Belle’s escape.
“I have a sick feeling that Tom will be at the next bus stop, so I hope the driver calls ahead for the police to ensure there is no incident,” said another.
“Why didn’t Belle take the car? Hopefully she’s hidden Tom’s keys so he can’t race after the bus,” a third worried.
“I just have a feeling it doesn’t end here and he’ll drive after the bus. Hope I’m wrong and he gets a Cain-ing,” said another.
Has Belle finally managed to escape Tom… or does he have more up his sleeve for her and Piper?

Classic Emmerdale usually airs every weekday on ITV3 at 6am and 6.30am, plus 1.40pm and 2.10pm.
In this week’s Classic Emmerdale, things have been heating up between Kelly Windsor and Jimmy King, as the pair take to a hotel together following a run-in with bad vicar Ethan Blake.
In episodes which aired today (July 25), steamy scenes see Jimmy and Kelly share a steamy bubble bath together. Meanwhile, back in the village, she stirs the pot by gossiping with Edna Birch about a supposed affair between Ethan and Laurel Potts.
Played by actress Adele Silva, Kelly was one of Emmerdale’s most memorable residents, appearing on the soap from 1993 to 2007.
But what happened to Kelly Windsor… and could Adele ever return to the soap?
Adele Silva played Kelly on Emmerdale (Credit: ITV/YouTube)
Who was Kelly Windsor?
Kelly first appeared in the village in 1993, along with her mother Viv, father Vic, stepbrother Scott and half-sister Donna.
During her time, Kelly became known for a series of high-profile and often controversial romantic attachments. This included a relationship with stepbrother Scott. The resulting affair led to the collapse of her marriage to Roy Glover and a subsequent mental health crisis which led her to try and take her own life.
For a while, it looked as though Jimmy may be the one, but he jilted her at the altar after he learned that she’d both aborted his child (doing so to keep a lucrative modelling contract) and kissed Eli Dingle.
She left the soap again in 2007, briefly returning in 2011… with Jimmy’s son, Elliot, in tow.

Why did Adele Silva leave Emmerdale?
Speaking to The Sun at the time, Adele revealed how she left Emmerdale out of a fear of being typecast.
“I look quite young and everyone thought of me as being Kelly the schoolgirl. I struggled to get away from the little girl image. I’ve grown up a lot, though, and I’m looking forward to going back and showing the cast and crew that I’m now a sexy woman,” she told the tabloid about her 2000 exit.
She left again in 2007, taking what was initially supposed to be a 12-month break to focus on other projects. Her return was confirmed for 2008…. but it took her four years to return to the soap.
When she did, she did so as a part of Jimmy’s amnesia storyline. Once this was up, she left again, declining to return to the soap after the birth of her first child in 2014.
Adele’s other TV appearances include Celebrity Mastermind (Credit: BBC/YouTube)
What else has Adele Silva been in?
During her time away from Emmerdale, Adele appeared on episodes of Lily Savage’s Blankety Blank, Celebrity Fear Factor and the third series of Hell’s Kitchen.
In 2008, she appeared in the comedy-horror film Doghouse alongside EastEnders star Danny Dyer, and, uh, Strippers vs Werewolves in 2011.
She went on to play Angela in Hollyoaks, briefly appearing in the Channel 4 soap opera across several episodes in July 2015.
Between acting work, Adele was spotted working at a clothing store in Los Angeles – pictured cleaning windows in a branch of Ted Baker.
“I was taking time out, travelling and living in New York and Los Angeles. I knew the manager and as I love clothes, I thought it would be a nice way to meet people because it’s hard to make friends in a place like LA. It can be isolating. I did a drama course for the same reason,” she said during a 2011 interview.
Adele is now a teacher at the National Film and Television School.

Just 15 weeks before she joined Hollyoaks in 2015, Adele gave birth to her daughter Sienna.
She revealed during an interview with Lorraine at the time that she had suffered three miscarriages before having her longed-for child. Sienna is now nine.
Speaking to OK just after Sienna’s birth, Adele admitted: “I thought we’d never get here.”
Sienna’s dad is Adele’s long-term partner Oliver Farber. Prior to meeting Oliver, Adele was in a relationship with Blue singer Anthony Costa.

Will Kelly Windsor ever return to Emmerdale?
While Kelly hasn’t returned to the Dales since her 2011 exit, the door remains open for her return. Calls for her return include Mandy Dingle star Lisa Riley, who said to Inside Soap earlier this year: “I think she’s a great actress and there’s a lot of untold stories there.”
And Adele herself told The Sun in 2022 she’d be up for a return.
“I’d definitely go back if they asked me,” she said. “Obviously Kelly’s son is there and she’s not seen him for years.
“Then there’s little April. You can imagine Marlon’s face if her auntie Kelly turned up. He’d be horrified.”
And with her daughter, Sienna, being older now, Adele admitted it would be a good time to return.

For anyone asking just what has happened to Kim Tate in Emmerdale, Claire King has got good news for you: the old Kim will make a return as she takes on Ruby and Rose and vows to bring them down. Rather them than us!
In a recent interview with Emmerdale Insider and other media, Claire said: “I keep getting everybody asking me, what has happened to Kim? Why is she being so soft? But I think she’s doing it for the family. She wants to keep the family together.”
But will she succeed in getting herself back on top? We know who our money is on!

Claire King insists Kim is ‘more dangerous than Ruby’ in Emmerdale
Home Farm is in turmoil after Rose tried to drug and entrap Will, but accidentally drugged Dawn instead. She’s managed to pin the blame on Kim, forcing Kim to move out to the B&B to protect baby Evan, and next week will seduce Will. So it looks like Rose and Ruby’s evil plot to get the better of Kim is working.
But this is Kim Tate, the queen of Emmerdale, we’re talking about and Claire insists Kim has not met her match.
“I think Ruby would like to think she’s met her match, but I don’t think she’s on a par with Kim. Kim could be a little bit more dangerous!”
So what about Rose? “I think [Kim’s] probably got quite a good idea of what she’s up to,” assures Claire. “Apart from Ruby pulling her strings. I don’t think she sees Rose as a terrible threat, but it’s probably wrong for Kim to think that actually.”
Rose makes her move – and succeeds (Credit: ITV)
Will falls for Rose’s tricks
Dean Andrews, who plays Will, admits that his alter ego is about to do something really, really, really stupid when he cheats on Kim and ends up in bed with Rose.
“Will thinks that Kim’s spiked the drinks, so he goes to see her but she ignores him. So he goes home feeling a bit sorry for himself and gets a little bit of love from Rose. And a little more love from her a bit later on!”
“But of course, she’s been paid to do that!” Claire points out!
“He really regrets it,” Dean carries on. “It’s just one of those moments of madness. He really does love Kim and wants harmony back in the house.”
The old Kim Tate would never forgive Will for this. But Claire thinks perhaps after a bit of revenge it’ll all be okay.
“I think because of the way Kim is, it’s going to be a very big hump to get over. I would imagine she will be exacting revenge,” she explains.
“It’s been a very nice sort of two or three years of playing happy families. But I think that’s always going to be within her and it’s going to come out at some point. I fear for Rose and I fear for Ruby!”
Kim knows – and Ruby had better watch out! (Credit: ITV)
Emmerdale star Claire King on Kim’s revenge
On that note, Claire is desperately looking forward to the revenge plot – and we don’t blame her, because we are too!
“I can’t wait! I’ve got them all lined up,” Claire says. “There are a few that have wronged her. There’s Rose to sort out, Ruby, Will’s got to have a bit of a slap around the chops. So yeah, there’s a few. Probably Caleb in there just for good measure. Maybe chuck a Dingle in there! Sounds a bit busy, doesn’t it!”
Given Kim’s track record of leaving people to die, faking her own death and hiring assassins, there’s no telling what she’ll do. If she’s still capable that is…
“I think she is more than capable,” says Claire. “But whether she would go down that line now I’m not sure. It depends how badly things go. But obviously this is an ultimate betrayal for her. I think Rose is in serious doo doo!”

Pregnant Ella looks to the future in Emmerdale spoilers
Ella’s return to the village has been nothing short of dramatic. After being involved in a car crash, the disgraced receptionist stunned Liam by revealing she was carrying his kid.
Liam didn’t respond well to the news and humiliated Ella by forcing her to take a pregnancy test. Despite all of this, Ella wants to make a future for her unborn child.
After booking in for a scan, Ella asks Mandy Dingle if she’ll hold her hand through the appointment. She also explains she’s undergoing a paternity test to prove to Liam the baby is his.

A mix up with the transport results in Liam going with Ella to the hospital after all.
The former lovers are anxious as the sonographer takes a reading and flags up a problem. But then comes the big sucker punch – no foetus can be found.
Before anyone has the chance to explain, Liam jumps to the conclusion Ella must have invented the pregnancy.
After all, she has a track record of not telling the truth. And if she could conceal the fact she was a killer, Liam reckons it would be easy to fake a baby.
Seeing red, he accuses Ella of lying all along, pointing out that’s why she never wanted him at the scan.

Ella is public enemy number one
Back in the village, Liam is in bits as Paddy consoles him. Much like his mate, Paddy assumes the worst and is sickened how Ella could stoop so low.
With both men convinced Ella invented there being a baby to trap Liam, Paddy declares she’s truly unhinged.
But are they just assuming Ella’s a pathological liar without considering the other possibilities?
Did Ella actually invent her pregnancy? Or could there be another explanation? And will Liam be willing to listen?

Paddy Kirk in Emmerdale is one of the soap’s best loved and iconic characters. His friendship with Marlon Dingle, rollercoaster love life, comedy moments and hard-hitting emotional storylines have made Paddy an Emmerdale legend.
Now he’s busy planning his second wedding to ex-wife and rekindled old flame, Mandy Dingle.

Who is Paddy Kirk in Emmerdale?
Paddy’s the son of Barbara, and Bear Wolf – a former wrestler who only reconnected with his son in recent years.
He has one daughter – Eve – with ex-wife Chas Dingle. Their first baby girl, Grace, lived only for an hour after she was born.
He’s also a father figure to Chas’s son, Aaron.

Paddy’s arrival
Paddy came to Emmerdale way back in 1997 as a locum vet to cover for Zoe Tate. He hit it off with Mandy, though his mum Barbara didn’t approve.
When Mandy married her cousin Butch as a way to stop the family being evicted, Paddy was heartbroken. But they eventually got it together and tied the knot.

Paddy’s love life
Paddy and Mandy were happy for a while but when her dad got ill she had to spend time away looking after her half-siblings. And she eventually began an affair with her dad’s carer. She and Paddy split.
Paddy found comfort in sweet Emily Dingle – Butch’s widow – and they started a romance. They walked down the aisle and became foster parents, caring for many children including Debbie Dingle.
But Paddy had an affair with Viv Hope. And when Emily found out, she left the village for good.
Next, Paddy started a romance with Chas Dingle – nothing like keeping it in the family, eh? He got close to her son, Aaron, and helped him when he was struggling with his sexuality.
Chas cheated on Paddy and the pair split.
Paddy moved on, falling for fellow vet Rhona Goskirk, who’d been in a relationship with Paddy’s bestie Marlon. Awks! Oh, and she was pregnant with Marlon’s baby.
Somehow, the trio made it work, though, despite Rhona’s painkiller addiction.
But when Paddy cheated with Tess Harris, it all fell apart.
And eventually, Paddy got back together with ex-girlfriend Chas.

Baby Grace
Chas and Paddy were surprised but delighted when they found out Chas was pregnant. But their joy turned to devastation when they were told their unborn baby had bilateral renal agenesis and wouldn’t survive long after birth.
They decided to continue the pregnancy, and in heartbreaking scenes, their baby was born, only to die shortly afterwards. The pair imagined the life their daughter Grace would have had.
Later, the pair were nervous but thrilled to discover Chas was pregnant again and their daughter Eve was born in 2019. Chas and Paddy tied the knot in a Christmas wedding in 2020, but their marriage fell apart when Chas cheated with Al Chapman.

Emmerdale stars have been wowing in the kitchen since the early days of Celebrity MasterChef.
Though the stars of the soap haven’t managed to lift the Celebrity MasterChef trophy, they’ve all clearly picked up some tips from Marlon along the way, and showed off their culinary skills to perfection.
Here’s our round-up of who’s been cooking up a storm in the MasterChef kitchen.
Emmerdale stars on Celebrity MasterChef
Jai Sharma might not be a whizz in the kitchen like his brother Suni, but is alter ego Chris? (Credit: ITV)
Chris Bisson
Chris appeared in the second series of Celebrity MasterChef in 2007. Strictly speaking that was before he joined Emmerdale as Jai Sharma, in 2009, but we still reckon he belongs on this list! At the time, Chris was best known for playing Vikram Desai in Coronation Street, Kash Karib in Shameless, and Saleem Khan in the film East is East.

The same series saw Sherrie Hewson in the MasterChef kitchen. She’s known for playing Maureen Holdsworth in Coronation Street, and also her appearances on Loose Women.
But from 2004 until 2006, Sherrie played Lesley Meredith in Emmerdale. Lesley was mum to fishmonger Simon Meredith. She caused all sorts of trouble for poor Simon, and his girlfriend Nicola, and generally made a nuisance of herself!

Competing in the same series was Pauline Quirke, who played Hazel Rhodes on Emmerdale from 2010 until 2012. Hazel was mum to Jackson Walsh.
He was Aaron Dingle‘s partner who was paralysed in an accident and who eventually chose to end his life. Of course Pauline is best known for playing Sharon Theodopolopodous on comedy Birds of a Feather alongside Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph.

Anne Charleston
Fan fave Anne Charleston appeared in Celebrity MasterChef in 2012. Of course Anne had already won the hearts of soap lovers playing Madge Bishop in Neighbours for many years, but she’d also spent three years as Lily Butterfield in Emmerdale. National treasure Sheree Murphy took part in the 2015 series of Celebrity MasterChef. She’s known for being delightfully ditzy Tricia Dingle in Emmerdale. Tricia was married to Marlon, but met a sorry end when the chimney of the Woolpack collapsed during a storm, crushing her. Bad times. Sheree’s also had roles in Hollyoaks and Neighbours, as well as presenting many TV shows including Yes Chef and Morning Live. Sheree is married to former footballer Harry Kewell and they have four children.
