Laurel and Charles’s affair is back on, but in tonight’s Emmerdale spoilers the lusty duo are rumbled by Arthur. Can Laurel convince her son to keep quiet about her new relationship?

Elsewhere in Emmerdale on Thursday October 3, Chas and Liam are drawn back together after she suffers a health scare. And John attracts the attention of a much younger admirer.

1. Laurel and Charles give into temptation, again

It’s the affair that’s taken viewers – and them – by surprise, but there’s clearly an attraction between Laurel and Charles.

Yesterday, Laurel came clean to best mate Nicola and admitted she’d bedded the local vicar. Nicola questioned why the fling had come to an end, which left Laurel questioning her feelings.

She and Charles later met up and agreed to end whatever was going on between them. But their pact to ‘just be friends’ lasts less than a day when Charles pays Laurel a visit…

2. Arthur busts Laurel and Charles

Unable to resist their animal urges, Laurel and Charles give into temptation again.

But their passionate clinch is interrupted when Arthur suddenly arrives back at Mulberry and catches his mum in a state of undress. We’re cringing for him.

Arthur is horrified to realise what’s been going on, but Laurel begs him to keep schtum. She doesn’t want anyone knowing about her new romance – particularly her vengeful ex Jai. But will Arthur agree to protect her secret?

3. Liam is there for Chas

Chas confides in ex-fling Liam she’s discovered a rash on her body.

Chas is currently in remission from breast cancer after undergoing a double mastectomy. But she fears her illness has returned.

She goes straight to Liam and asks if he can examine her. The exes are still on friendly terms after their split and Liam was a tower of strength for Chas during her cancer ordeal.

Liam examines Chas, but soon finds himself lying to Ella about spending time with her love rival. Which woman will he choose?

4. Arthur puts the moves on John

There’s a lot of Arthur action tonight!

As well as rumbling Laurel’s saucy secret, the teen makes a fool of himself by flirting with John. Arthur is desperate to prove to mate April that he’s sooo mature.

He reckons he can pull a much older man, no problem, and starts making eyes at John.Â But how will the surly Sugden respond to his new admirer?

Emmerdale spoilers: Chas and Liam can’t resist each other, but what does this mean for Ella?

In next week’s Emmerdale spoilers, a health scare sees ex-lovers Chas and Liam drawn back together. There’s clearly an attraction still there between the pair, where does this leave Liam’s relationship with Ella?

Liam is a man in demand in Emmerdale spoilers

Local GP Liam has been setting pulses racing since his arrival back in 2014. During his decade in the Dales, Liam has enjoyed romances with several of the local ladies. He was engaged to Bernice Blackstock, a brief marriage to Leyla and an icky fling with nurse Wendy. But the less said about that the better.

More recently, Liam found himself caught up in a bit of a love triangle with Chas and Ella.

His romantic connection to the Woolpack manager was cut short after Chas was diagnosed with breast cancer. Liam was a tower of strength for Chas during her illness and there’s still a sense of unfinished business between them.

Then there’s Ella. Her relationship with Liam came to an abrupt end after he discovered Ella killed her best friend when they were 11. Since then, the exes have got back on good terms. Liam has been there for Ella when she needed him most and she clearly has feelings for him. But areÂ her hopes of a reunion about to be dashed?

Chas suffers a health scare

Next week, Chas confides in Liam about a rash that’s appeared on her body.

Chas is currently in remission from breast cancer after being diagnosed with the same disease that killed her mum, Faith. Chas discovered she carried the faulty BRAC2 gene and underwent a double mastectomy.

When Chas finds the rash she fears her cancer could be back. She goes straight to Liam and asks if he can examine her.

Liam lies to Ella in Emmerdale spoilers

Liam checks Chas out, but soon finds himself lying to Ella about spending time with her love rival. He knows Ella has been jealous before of his connection to Chas, so doesn’t want to hurt her.

Later, sparks are flying as Liam and Chas share a charged look across The Woolpack bar.

Will they admit their true feelings and see if they can make it second time lucky? And where does this leave Ella? Will she be able to handle seeing Liam with another woman? Or will it send her off the rails again?

Emmerdale spoilers: John saves Pollard’s life

John is once again hailed a hero in next week’s Emmerdale spoilers after he saves Pollard’s life. The village veteran is on the verge of a terrifying angina attack when John steps in to help. And Liam’s so impressed he offers John a job at the surgery.

John is finding his feet in Emmerdale spoilers

John has decided to try and make a go of a new life in Emmerdale, but things haven’t got off to the smoothest start.

His rude behaviour has rubbed locals up the wrong way and John doesn’t seem like he’s here to make friends. Even poor Victoria, who’s been so desperate to get to know her big brother, hasn’t been able to break through his icy exterior.

Aaron has had slightly better luck, but his affair with John still feels a purely physical thing. John is harbouring big secrets from his past, which he doesn’t want Aaron – or anyone else knowing about.

John saves Pollard’s life

John puts his experience as an army medic to good use when Eric starts feeling rather unwell.

The Dales legend’s health has taken a knock since being diagnosed with Parkinson’s last year. The news came as a crushing blow for Eric, but it doesn’t seemed to have stopped him getting up to his usual immoral antics.

Pollard is determined to carry on as normal, but events take a terrifying turn when he starts experiencing chest pains. Could he be on his way out?

Thankfully John is at Brook Surgery and recognises the signs of an oncoming angina attack. He takes Eric’s blood pressure then administers a mouth spray to alleviate his chest pains and prevent the attack.

Liam rewards John’s bravery

Dr Liam is impressed by John’s quick-thinking and thanks him for helping Eric.

Although clearly not comfortable with being centre of attention, John awkwardly enjoys the praise. So when Liam offers him a permanent job, John happily accepts.

4 Emmerdale romances that NEED to happen

It’s fair to say that the Dales have seen their fair share of couples get together and split up over the years…

Some couples have stood the test of time whilst others have fallen at the first hurdle.

Here’s four pairings we’d love to see get together in Emmerdale village!

Emmerdale romances: 1. Belle and Vinny

Belle and Vinny have always been close. They’ve been there for each other (as friends) through thick and thin.

Vinny’s currently supporting Belle as she struggles to come to terms with Tom’s abuse of her. Despite Tom causing trouble for their friendship in the past, this pair will always return to each other’s side in the end.

Let’s be honest, Vinny and Gabby really don’t make for a perfect match. Gabby isn’t known for her compassion after all…

But, Vinny and Belle? They already have a great bond going. So, here’s to hoping they develop a romantic connection in the near future. Maybe, let’s just give Belle some time to breathe before jumping into another relationship though.

2. Manpreet and Liam

Liam’s had flings and relationships with a fair few women in the village, but he’s yet to cross that boundary with colleague and friend, Manpreet.

Manpreet and Liam actually have a lot in common (with serial killer Meena unfortunately being a topic they both know all too well.)

Perhaps Liam might find it a little icky to start dating the sister of his daughter’s killer. But, if he just puts that factor (okay, very big factor) aside for a moment, he could well find that his good friendship with Manpreet could turn into something more! And, we’d totally ship them!

Emmerdale romances: 3. Mack and Aaron

Aaron’s currently having a fling with John Sugden (yes, the half-brother of Robert Sugden – awks!)

But, it’s no secret that Mack’s been feeling jealous over John getting in the way of his bromance with Aaron.

Mack’s childish feud with John could all be explained though… you know, as jealousy? Perhaps, Mack only has a vendetta against John because he wants Aaron all to himself.

If Mack was to suddenly confess his secret feelings for Aaron, we’d be all for it!

4. Charity and Vanessa

As we’re shipping Mack and Aaron together, that means that Mack will have to ditch Charity…

So, shall we just all rewind back to the 2019 era when we were all at peak Vanity era? Life was rather sweet back then before Charity and Vanessa split in 2020 (we’re still not over it, can you tell?)

Vanessa and Charity had way more chemistry than Mack and Charity. Vanessa actually cared about Charity whereas Mack only really proves to prioritise himself over his marriage time and time again. We certainly wouldn’t be opposed to a Vanity reunion!

5 Emmerdale spoilers for tonight including Ella attacks Wendy and Will fears his marriage is finished

In Emmerdale spoilers for tonight, Ella’s 30th birthday goes horribly wrong when she’s confronted by a face from her past. As events spiral, Ella loses control and attacks Wendy in a fit of anger.

Also in Emmerdale on Thursday August 22, Will panics when he’s unable to get hold of Kim. Is their marriage finished?

1. Mandy spoils birthday girl Ella

It’s Ella’s 30th birthday, but she wants to keep it on the down low. Mandy’s got other ideas and wants to spoil her friend.

Mandy surprises Ella with birthday wishes. She also offers her a full beauty treatment with before and after photos, which makes Ella feel uncomfortable.

Later, Ella loses it when she sees Mandy has posted images of her across the salon socials. She knows this means anyone could find out her whereabouts and thought of that is terrifying. Ella confronts Mandy and smashes her birthday cake in a fit of temper.

2. Liam supports Ella

Liam witnesses Ella’s meltdown and follows her to the footbridge. He can see she’s in an agitated state and he’s concerned for her wellbeing. Liam is able to calm Ella down and offers to accompany his ex to her birthday party.

They arrive at the bash together and Ella is buoyed when everyone rallies around her. Liam surprises her with a beautiful star pendant and she finally starts to relax and enjoy herself.

But then Ella’s whole world implodes when an invited guest makes their arrival.

3. Ella’s world is rocked

Ella is horrified when June’s nephew Gary turns up unannounced. Gary is the cousin of Joanne, the girl who Ella killed when they were just 11.

He’s aggressive as he approaches Ella and hands her a photo of her victim. Seeing Joanne’s innocent face brings all the memories of what she did come flooding back.

Distraught, Ella rushes out of her party, but Gary isn’t far behind.

4. Ella attacks Wendy

As Gary catches up with frightened Ella she falls to the ground in tears. Wendy intervenes and rescues Ella before Gary storms off consumed with grief and anger.

Wendy takes Ella to the surgery to try and calm down. But Ella’s on the edge, and as Wendy tries to help she suddenly flips and attacks the nurse.

Will Wendy be seriously injured? And has Gary’s arrival unleashed something very dangerous inside of her?

Fresh worry for Will in Emmerdale spoilers

5. Will fears Kim wants a divorce

Rose is still missing, and Dawn is getting worried. So is Will, when Dawn informs him she’s going to report her mum to the police as a missing person.

Viewers know that Will is harbouring secrets surrounding Rose’s disappearance. He and Kim drove Rose out of the village after discovering she’d been plotting against them. But what exactly happened next remains a mystery.

Fearing the worst, Will makes a call to Kim in Dubai, but she doesn’t answer. Is this Kim’s way of letting Will know they’re finished? And how will he stop Dawn from digging any further?

In Emmerdale spoilers for next week, Ella goes into meltdown after Mandy discovers she’s approaching a milestone birthday.

Mandy is desperate to spoil her friend and make it a day to remember. But the prospect of turning 30 is a scary one for Ella. She’s still haunted over killing her best friend when they were kids and wants to escape her past.

And when Mandy takes things too far, Ella explodes into a violent rage! But who, or what, is on the receiving end of her anger?

Mandy surprises Ella in Emmerdale spoilers

Mandy’s surprised to learn Ella’s got a birthday coming up â€“ and it’s a biggie. She’s about to turn 30, and has no plans to mark the special occasion.

That just won’t do in Mandy’s eyes and she starts plotting how to celebrate Ella entering a new decade. It’s been a particularly difficult past few weeks for Ella since she suffered a silent miscarriage. Which is even more reason for Mandy to want to put a smile on her face.

But what does she have in mind and will Ella approve?

Mandy’s mistake puts Ella at risk

As Ella’s 30th dawns, she’s stunned when Mandy surprises her with birthday wishes. Ella learns she’ll be having a birthday party later and Mandy is on hand to get her glammed up.

Mandy tells Ella she wants to treat her to a birthday makeover. This includes a luxury treatment with before and after photos. Naturally, Ella is anxious about this idea but decides to go along with it to make Mandy happy.

Mandy gets to work, carrying out the treatment and taking the snaps. Getting swept up in the moment, Mandy uploads the images to PampaManda socials without realising the potential danger of what she’s doing.

Angry Ella loses it!

Ella is incensed when she sees the pictures of herself plastered online. Because of her past, Ella has always been careful not to publicise her whereabouts. And now whoever sees it will know she’s living in Emmerdale. Basically it’s Ella’s worst nightmare realised.

Consumed with panic and self-loathing, Ella flips out and smashes her birthday cake! Liam witnesses the violent outburst and watches as his ex-girlfriend heads for the footbridge.

Concerned for her wellbeing, Liam approaches Ella and is able to calm her down. The pair talk things through and Liam offers to accompany Ella to her birthday bash.

But will there be another shock in store for her there?

It’s Ella’s 30th and she’s finally in the mood to celebrate after a day of ups and downs.

Mandy surprised her with a makeover experience at PampaManda. But Ella was horrified to find her friend had posted images of her face on the salon’s socials.

Fearing this meant people from her past would be able to track her down, Ella freaked out and smashed up her birthday cake. But a pep talk from ex-partner Liam has given Ella the encouragement to enjoy what’s left of her day.

And as Ella arrives at her birthday party, sheâ€™s feeling the love from the locals. At last, it seems, Ella can escape her painful past. Or is that just wishful thinking?

Ella is confronted by her past

With the party in full swing, Ella is really starting to relax and enjoy herself. Liam surprises her with a small star pendant, and Ella hopes the gift signals a fresh start for them both.

But her newfound happiness is suddenly shattered by the arrival of an unexpected guest.

It’s Gary â€“ the nephew of June, who viewers will remember was the late mother of Joanne, the girl who Ella killed when they were just 11.

It’s clear from the off Gary isn’t here to give Ella his best wishes. Approaching her in a quietly aggressive manner, Gary hands Ella a picture of Joanne. It’s a calculated move, designed to cause maximum pain. Which, of course, it does.

The sight of the innocent girl whose life she took all those years ago sends Ella spiraling.

Ella turns on Wendy

Consumed with terror and fear, Ella rushes outside as Gary chases after her. She’s not far up the road when she crumbles to the ground in a tearful heap.

But before Gary can do any more damage, Wendy intervenes. She manages to usher Ella away as Gary storms off full of grief and anger.

Wendy takes Ella to the surgery waiting room so she can calm down. But things take a turn when Ella violently lashes out at Wendy. The frenzied attack seemingly comes out of nowhere â€“ just as it did when Ella murdered Joanne.

Will Ella cause Wendy a serious injury? What will the repercussions be? And is this the last we’ve seen of Gary?

1. Mandy spoils Ella

It’s Ella’s 30th birthday, but she doesn’t tell anyone. However, Mandy finds out and surprises her with birthday wishes. Ella’s taken aback and a little uncomfortable when Mandy offers her a full beauty makeover with before and after photos.

2. Ella flips

When Ella sees Mandy has splashed the photos all over the salon socials, she loses it.

Seeing Mandy with a birthday cake for her, Ella storms over and snatches it out of her hands. Ella smashes the cake to the floor and rushes off to the footbridge.

3. Liam steps in

Liam witnesses the outburst and follows Ella. He manages to calm her down. Liam says he will accompany her to the surprise party being thrown for her. Ella feels better when she realises the support she has and even tries to enjoy herself.

4. Gary arrives

Ella relaxes and is touched by Liam’s gift: a small star pendant. However, things take a turn when June’s nephew Gary arrives. He’s aggressive and confronts Ella, handing her a photo of Joanne. Shaken, a devastated Ella rushes out. But Gary follows her and fearful Ella falls to the ground in tears.

5. Ella attacks Wendy

Wendy rescues Ella and takes her away from looming Gary. He is full of grief and anger and unable to contain himself as he walks off. Wendy takes Ella to the surgery, but shaky Ella can’t calm down. Wendy is left stunned when Ella flips out and attacks her.

6. Laurel gets one over on Jai

Laurel has a suggestion for Gabby: She buy into the Hide. Gabby is excited by the idea and agrees. However, Jai is fuming when he finds out what’s happened.

7. Jai hits back with more lies

The mediator arrives for the session with Jai and Laurel. But he turns the tables and lies through his teeth that he’s in debt so he’s sold Holdgate and Tenants to pay them off. He therefore claims he has nothing to give Laurel in the divorce.

Jai later worries whether he’s done the right thing, but Caleb reassures him he owes Laurel nothing.

8. Will can’t get in touch with Kim

Dawn tells Will she’s going to report Rose missing to the police. Things get worse for Will when he tries to get in touch with Kim and she fails to answer. He fears they are definitely over.

9. Dawn gives Will awful news

Dawn then delivers awful news to Will: Evan needs a bone marrow transplant so she has to get in touch with Rose to see if she’s a match. In shock Will can’t believe they need to find Rose.

He digs out Rose’s phone and after failing to get hold of Kim again, Will composes a message to send from Rose’s phone.

Emmerdale tonight: Liam lashed out, Tom’s still lurking, Kim’s remembered who she is and Jimmy’s a hunk – apparently

Emmerdale tonight saw Liam totally forget every single bit of his medical training and accuse Ella of never being pregnant. Talk about bad bedside manner from the doc!

Meanwhile, Tom continues to watch Belle, and Kim finally remembered who she is and took revenge. Shame she did it on the wrong person, though.

It looked like Liam was starting to come round to the idea of being a dad again. But just as he warmed to it, Ella told him he couldn’t come to the scan as he’d ruin it for her with his attitude.

Liam eventually did go with her when her taxi didn’t show up. But heartbreak struck at the scan the sonographer couldn’t find a baby. As she went off to find a doctor, Liam said: “I knew it. There is no foetus. Ella, you’re not pregnant and you never were, were you?”

Liam then stormed out. Never mind waiting for an explanation from the medical team, Dr Liam knew best and knew she had lied. He then told Paddy he wanted her gone.

But Ella had been called by Manpreet after she ran away from the hospital. Manpreet told her she had had an anembryonic pregnancy – also known as a blighted ovum or silent miscarriage. There was a real baby.

Manpreet also commented Liam should have seen this before. Well, exactly. What sort of a doctor is he? Actually don’t answer that, he’s barely ever at work anyway.

Tom’s still lurking

So, we know Tom and Belle and the abuse storyline is going to go on until the end of the year. But now she’s left him, what we can expect is months of him lurking. Joy.

That’s exactly what he’s been doing so far this week. He started out in the cafÃ©, acting suspiciously with his newly purchased key for Belle’s house. The least hard working vet in Emmerdale also didn’t bother to turn up for work, but hey, who needs a job, right?!

Meanwhile, mental health worker Rachel visited Belle at home after she missed her appointment again. Frustratingly, Rachel couldn’t see through Belle’s lies that she was “taking control of her life” – when she clearly wasn’t because she’s still covering for Tom.

But once Rachel had left, Belle started to search ‘was I being abused?’ on her laptop. Hallelujah!

And later Belle was seen taking the cameras down. Hallelujah again! Is she actually taking control? We don’t believe it yet…

Lydia stopped to talk to her and Tom was – you guessed it – lurking in the bushes watching everything. Let’s call him Peeping Tom from now on, eh?

Emmerdale tonight: Kim took revenge – on the wrong person

Kim was playing Russian spy in the cafÃ©, her plot against Caleb taking shape. Lydia was worried Kim would get burned, but she needn’t have been because Kim was apparently wearing Kevlar knickers. Not the underwear we had Ms Tate down for.

Elsewhere, Caleb got a call saying his car firm had been burnt down. He went to see the place and came back to see a detective waiting, who suspected arson – and clearly suspected Caleb had done it himself for the insurance.

“If it does confirm arson, I will find out who’s responsible,” she told him. But honestly, that’s a bold statement from the Hotten police who couldn’t solve a crime if it was committed right in front of their eyes and the culprit said: “It was me!”, so we doubt Caleb has much to worry about.

During dinner at the Woolpack, Caleb – tucking into what looked like an entire roast chicken (must’ve been hungry) – dismissed Ruby‘s theory Kim was behind it. Kim made jibes at him and it made her confused when he didn’t react.

R.E.S.P.E.C.T

Jai is giving Laurel a really hard time at work. Someone should tell him if he wants to win her back this isn’t the best way to go about it.

But baby Jai told her she needed to show him “the proper respect” – should take a look in the mirror, Jai, if you’re talking about showing respect.

Jai then took things up a gear when he got an email from Laurel’s solicitor and he accused her of trying to take him for everything. “You kicked me out and now you want to rinse me?” he incredulously asked.

“I am entitled to my fair share,” Laurel stood her ground. The battle lines are drawn and this split is about to get messy as well as boring. Oops, sorry we meant interesting.

Kim commented that Jimmy was ‘hot’ – it was said with a hint of sarcasm, but Jimmy took it and ran with the ‘compliment’ – well, when you’re married to Nicola, you’ll take whatever compliments you can get!

In tonight’s Emmerdale spoilers, Liam accuses Ella of faking her pregnancy after it’s revealed there’s no baby.

Elsewhere in Emmerdale on Tuesday July 30, Kim targets the wrong person and Belle starts to question whether she’s the victim of domestic abuse. Also, Jai’s toxic vendetta against Laurel becomes the talk of the village.

1. Liam has a change of heart

Liam is still reeling from news of Ella’s pregnancy and adamant he doesn’t want any part in the baby’s life. But with Ella’s scan approaching, Paddy is worried Liam will live to regret his decision.

The friends have a chat about the situation, which makes Liam realise what he’s missing out on. He goes to find Ella and asks if he can accompany her to the ultrasound.

She responds with a firm no, which is hardly surprising given Liam demanded a DNA test to prove the baby was his. But can he find a way to win her round?

2. Ella and Liam learn there’s no baby

There ends up being a problem with transport which means Liam ends up at the hospital with Ella.

The pair feel a mix of nerves and excitement as they prepare to see their baby for the first time. But moments later Liam and Ella’s worlds are shatteredÂ when the sonographer reveals they can’t find a foetus.

Before the medics are able to offer an explanation, Liam jumps to the conclusion Ella made the whole thing up.

3. Liam accuses Ella of deception

Devastated Liam returns to the village and goes straight to Paddy. Revealing what happened at the hospital, Liam reaffirms his belief that Ella faked her pregnancy.

Paddy also seems sure there’s foul play at hand and is appalled that Ella could stoop so low. But are the pair being a little hasty in branding Ella a devious liar? But could there be more to the sad situation than meets the eye?

4. Belle questions everything in Emmerdale spoilers

Belle’s head is in a spin after a visit with her mental health counsellor. As she starts to process the horrific events of the past few weeks, Belle questions if she’s been a victim of abuse.

Will she finally realise the extent of her suffering at Tom’s hands? And she can find the courage to publicly expose his true nature?

5. Kim targets Caleb

Kim is convinced she knows which local has been plotting her downfall. The only problem is she’s got the wrong person.

After doing some digging, Kim has concluded her former nemesis, Caleb is to blame. She’s getting warmer â€“ but what Kim doesn’t realise (yet) is that Caleb’s missus Ruby is the real mastermind.

Finding Lydia in the cafÃ©, Kim informs her she’s exacted revenge on her tormentor. Caleb gets a visit from the police, who inform him there’s been a suspected arson attack on his work premises. Three guesses who’s behind the blaze.

6. Jai gets even nastier

Over at the Hide, Jai is continuing to make Laurel’s life a misery. For some reason, he’s got it into his head that she’s planning on rinsing him dry in the divorce.

To make Laurel suffer, Jai starts belittling his estranged wife in her place of work. It creates a horrible atmosphere, which leaves the other employees feeling very uncomfortable.

Soon Jai’s marital woes become the main subject of village gossip. Can anyone rein him in?
