Help arrives at the scene of the limousine lake crash in Emmerdale spoilers tonight – arriving with one villager already dead and others still fighting for their lives. With Amy still trapped beneath the icy water, a hand breaks through and pulls her out. But will Amy survive?
Amy’s trauma came as she and the other passengers of the women’s limo (including Doctor Liam) crashed off the road and landed on the surface of an icy lake. With the exception of poor dead Suzy, the majority of those inside have already escaped, leaving only a seriously injured Leyla and Kerry inside. Can they escape before the limo sinks to the bottom of the lake?
Elsewhere, the men continue to wrestle with the implications of Caleb and Cain’s feud.

1. Amy fights for her life in Emmerdale spoilers tonight
Beneath the surface of the frozen lake, Amy’s breath gives out, and she sinks toward an almost certain watery grave. Just then, a hand reaches into the water and pulls her back out.
At both crash sites, a long night continues for the affected parties. As the women (and Liam) battle for survival, Leyla and Kerry remain trapped inside.
Meanwhile, the men (and Mandy) wrestle with the fallout of Cain and Caleb‘s feud.
3. Help arrives on the scene
A series of flashing lights indicate that help has finally arrived. But with multiple limousine passengers in a bad way, will any of them make it to the hospital in one piece?

The aftermath of the limo crash is revealed in Emmerdale spoilers tonight, as one of the two cars finds itself resting on a precipice above a watery grave. Friday night’s episode saw a night out go awry when two limousines full of partygoers almost collided.
This came as driver Caleb grew distracted as he confronted Cain over his affair with Ruby. As the truth came out, their heated argument caused him to almost crash into the other car. Meanwhile Charity, who had been driving the other car, had been distracted by a vision of her own.
As one of the limos crashes into an icy lake nearby, multiple lives are left hanging in the balance. But who lives and who dies?

1. Charity spots Noah in the road in Emmerdale spoilers tonight
With the boys’ argument still mid-flow, Caleb swerves to avoid an oncoming vehicle. Meanwhile, in the girls’ limo, Liam’s proposal to Chas distracts Charity. Spotting a disorientated Noah stumbling out into the road, she also swerves the car off-track.
Both groups of passengers are violently thrown about as the cars try to avert course. And, as people, glass and loose items are thrown about, serious injuries are sustained. But with one of the passengers no longer breathing, there’s even worse to come…

3. One of the limos is in grave danger
As the soap reveals the aftermath of the crash, it’s bad news for one of the cars. Stranded on the middle of a lake covered with ice, it’s only a matter of time before the vehicle sinks through, condemning those within to an icy grave.
Inside the car, the survivors attempt to figure out an escape. Panic turns into horror as the magnitude of their situation sinks in for those trapped inside.

It’s been an odd week of Emmerdale to review. It was slightly subdued, and cautious earlier in the week but that was just the calm before the storm, because it all kicked off in spectacular fashion on Friday!
In fact, we’re still reeling from the events of Valentine’s Day in the Dales and we’re not just talking about Liam trying to propose to Chas in a most ungainly fashion.
Of course we mean the dramatic limo crash! But before that happened there were some other goings on in the village.
Here’s what we thought in our Emmerdale review.
April and Marlon with the baby’s coffin was heartbreaking (Credit: ITV)
April’s torment
April’s ordeal isn’t over as she struggles to make sense of life back in the village. And she’s being – let’s be honest – a bit of a brat about it all. We understand that she’s been through a terrible, awful time. She’s traumatised. She needs help. And Marlon is really annoying, so we sort of get it.
And speaking of Marlon. We’ve mentioned how fed up we were with his behaviour in our Emmerdale review in previous weeks. But, the irritation we’ve felt this whole time faded away this week when he said goodbye to his granddaughter.
The tiny coffin and Marlon’s devastated expression as he tried to keep it together for April was heartbreaking.
Tom made a surprise return but we didn’t like it! (Credit: ITV)
Belle’s torment
We need to talk about Tom King. Because what on EARTH happened there, then? Belle trotted off to the prison to speak to her abusive, manipulative, controlling ex-husband about getting a divorce.
And apparently it was on the advice of her solicitor. Frankly, we think she needs better legal representation because that was not right.
The fans weren’t pleased that Tom was back in Belle’s life, and nor were we. Surely this isn’t a thing? We have email and all sorts nowadays – presumably Belle could make use of those to divorce her abusive ex?
Her little smile as she walked away was excellent but her being forced to come face to face with Tom again, was not.

Limo crash drama in our review of the week
And so Friday arrived – Valentine’s Day – and the men and women of Emmerdale bundled into their respective limousines for a swanky night out. Except Liam ended up with the women, while Mandy was stuck with the men.
But it was all fun and games at first. Liam was determined to propose to Chas, but kept getting interrupted, while the booze flowed and the women laughed and joked.
Meanwhile, it the men’s limo, things weren’t quite so much fun. Caleb had announced that Cain had slept with Ruby and he was losing it. Mack and Matty were fuming at the thought of Cain cheating on Moira, Sam was upset with his brother, too.
Caleb was driving and kept turning round to shout at Cain – much to his passengers’ alarm – full of self-righteous fury. Which we have to say, is a bit rich, given that not long ago, he was having a steamy affair with Tracy – his nephew’s wife.
Anyway, indiscretions aside, as Caleb flew along the dark lanes, not looking where he was going, the limos collided. The passengers were flung about in the back of the cars, and silence fell as one vehicle teetered on an icy lake.
So who’s in danger? Amy and Matty have been sickeningly happy this week, which gets our cynical Spidey senses tingling. Is one of them for the chop? Amy’s friendship bracelet, made for her by Frankie, seems important. Wasn’t the hand beneath the ice in the flashforward wearing a bracelet just like that?
Could this be Amy’s hand? (Credit: ITV)
Anything can happen in our Emmerdale review
We also reckon Leyla’s at risk, though it pains us to admit it. AND controversial as it may seem, we’re not sure we’d miss Caleb. We’re so invested in Ruby’s story that he now seems like an unnecessary complication. Much as we love him. And of course we saw him flatline in hospital in the flashforward scenes, too.
But of course this is Emmerdale so anything can happen. For all we know Gail could have been strolling past the lake at the moment the cars hit, or perhaps Nate had returned to see Tracy only to end up trapped beneath the ice. What we do know, is that we’re going to be on tenterhooks all weekend, waiting to see what happens next!

Emmerdale tonight saw a fun trip out end in disaster as the two limousines crashed in spectacular style, and one plunged into an icy lake.
But before the drama there were some fun and games and lots of plans for the future – never a good sign!
Here’s all that happened in Emmerdale tonight, Friday February 14.

There was no limo driver
Suzy was surprised in Emmerdale tonight – and not in a good way when the limos were dropped off first thing in the morning. “You are coming back?” she begged the chaps who’d driven them to the village. But no – turned out she’d ordered the ‘car-only’ package. Which meant she needed to find two drivers – and so the stage was set for the later drama!
Emmerdale tonight: Aaron tried to warn Cain
Aaron was about to tell Cain what Caleb had been up to when he was interrupted by the man himself – along with Ruby and Steph. Steph taunted Cain about him being responsible for Anthony’s disappearance, throwing around accusations. And Cain stomped off before Aaron got a chance to tell him.
Later in the pub Caleb and Aaron had words again as Caleb demanded to know what Aaron had done with Anthony’s tooth. Aaron told him he’d got rid of it, while Caleb warned him not to rock the boat or he’d be facing prison.

Moira quizzed Cain in Emmerdale tonight
Determined to understand why Cain had been acting so oddly, Moira demanded he assure her that he had absolutely nothing to do with Anthony’s disappearance. Cain promised her he didn’t – which was a rather deliberate bending of the truth. Moira was reassured and urged Cain to join Liam on his night out. A decision he’s probably going to regret! Meanwhile, in Emmerdale tonight, Ruby was talking Caleb into going along too. Uh-oh.
The fun began as everyone got in the cars (Credit: ITV)
The fun began!
As the women clambered into the limos, Mandy was distracted by a very drunk Vinny being helped along the road by Sam. She decided to help her son home before she joined the party and begged the others to wait for her. And Mack was relieved when – a fairly tetchy – Caleb took over driving the men’s limo.
Liam decided to go for it
As everyone waited for Mandy to return before they set off, a pensive Liam decided he was going to propose to Chas after all. He marched over to the women’s limo – with a bit of encouragement from Paddy.
And as he got in, Paddy told Charity to drive away, bundling Mandy over to the men’s car.
Chas wasn’t overly impressed with their uninvited guest, and nor were the rest of the women! Liam settled down in the limo trying to pluck up the courage to pop the question.
Cain was nervous
Sensing something was up with his brother, Cain was on edge. And as Sam reminisced about his dad Zak and his loyalty, Caleb got even crosser. He asked Sam to explain Dingle loyalty to him. And he added that betrayal was never acceptable.
“Ask him why he slept with my wife,” he eventually snarled.

Emmerdale tonight: Things got dangerous!
Sam demanded to know if Caleb was telling the truth, Mack and Matty were furious and Cain assured them it meant nothing. But that didn’t help! Caleb was even angrier when Cain dismissed Ruby so easily. “She means everything to me,” he shouted. He began driving faster and faster, as Cain begged him to pull over or slow down.
But as Caleb lost control, the other limo approached. And just when Liam asked Chas to marry him, the cars collided. The passengers were thrown from their seats, drinks went flying, and one limo plunged into the frozen lake.

The limo crash story is underway in Emmerdale, with several characters at risk of not making it out alive.
Episodes this week saw Kerry win the use of a limo for the night. She chose to use it for a girls night out, while Liam rented his own limo for the boys.
The limos are involved in separate accidents, with one ending up on a frozen lake. It has been confirmed that not everyone will survive, but who do we hope lives to tell the tale?

Caleb Miligan
As the chauffeur of the boys’ limo, Caleb is one of the most at risk when the vehicle crashes. A flash-forward image also showed him lying in hospital, hooked up to various machines. So things aren’t looking good.
Caleb isn’t very popular at the moment, but killing him off would be a big mistake. He has a formidable partnership with wife Ruby, which we don’t want to see broken up. Ruby has been through enough recently, without adding her husband’s death to the list.
We also want to see how Cain and Caleb repair their relationship after the revelation that Cain slept with Ruby.

Emmerdale limo crash: Liam Cavanagh
With Liam’s plan to propose to Chas going wrong at every opportunity, is it a sign that it’s not meant to be? We sure hope not!
Liam Cavanagh isn’t perfect, but we’d miss his awkwardness if he were to perish in the limo crash. The scene where he asked for Aaron’s blessing to propose to Chas had us cringing and laughing in equal measure.
Chas also deserves a happy ending after being unlucky in love for so long.

Charity Dingle must not die in limo crash
Like with Caleb, Charity Dingle steps up as a driver so is at the front of the vehicle when it crashes. While we don’t think Emmerdale would kill off such an iconic character, anything is possible in soap land.
But Emmerdale wouldn’t be the same without Charity, from her feisty personality to her iconic putdowns. We couldn’t cope if Charity was no more.
She’s also involved in some storylines that need resolving, such as the drama between Noah and Joe.

Leyla Harding
Given that Roxy Shahidi is reportedly leaving the role of Leyla, it’s clear why she is the firm favourite to lose her life in the limo crash. There was also some foreshadowing when Leyla said, ‘I am getting in that limo if it kills me.’
However, we’d rather Leyla simply drive off into the sunset. She has always been one of our favourite characters and we’d hate to see it end like this. Especially after she mentioned how lonely she has been – wouldn’t it be a more fitting ending for her to meet someone and leave with him?
Also, her son Jacob works at the hospital. If he has to witness his mother’s death, it could break him.
Sam is in the back with the boys (Credit: ITV)
Sam Dingle
This is a left-field one as we think it’s extremely unlikely that Sam will be killed off. But as he’s in the limo when it crashes, there is always a chance. Especially as a flash forward image shows Cain looking devastated while standing over a grave – it can only be someone close to him.
We don’t think it needs to be said why the loveable Sam needs to be saved. Sam is sacred and has managed to get through so much pain and heartbreak.
Our own hearts would break if Sam lost his life in the limo crash.

As the highly-anticipated ice stunt takes centre stage, everyone wants to know who the Emmerdale death will be.
Tonight (Friday, February 14), two limos will crash; one with the boys, one with the girls. And unfortunately for one group, thy will end up on a frozen lake, and someone won’t make it out alive.
There has been a lot of speculation regarding who will be losing their life during the limo crash. And now, according to new odds, it’s looking like bad news for two villagers.

Odds on Leyla and Suzy death in Emmerdale
While there has been a lot of speculation on whether or not this will be Roxy Shahidi’s exit as Leyla Harding, some believed it was too obvious to be the case.
However, new odds have her at 10/11 to die tonight, accumulating a huge 52.4% probability. Gambling.com TV expert James Leyfield explained that Leyla holds the record for most likely to die after an ‘ill-timed comment’ she made earlier this week.
He said: “It looks set to be a Valentine’s Day tragedy for Leyla Harding in Friday night’s dramatic Emmerdale episode. Dales fans already know Roxy Shahidi is departing the ITV soap. And it makes sense for her character to bow out in the double limo disaster.”
Although, it’s not just Leyla that looks likely to die. Her party-planning pal Suzy Merton is currently sitting on 13/8 (38.1%) likelihood of saying goodbye to the village tonight.
James continued: “Soap bosses and writers love a foreshadowing moment just as much as an awards show win. And this could also spell disaster for Suzy.”
Earlier this week, Leyla told Jacob she was getting in the limo even ‘if it kills’ her. And Suzy spoke about it being ‘dead romantic.’ So it seems the one of the two women could be bowing out after tonight’s stunt.
Suzy is right behind Leyla (Credit: ITV)
Emmerdale death twist?
However, there is the possibility that neither of them die as it might be the boys limo that crashes onto the frozen lake.
And if this is the case, odds have Liam as the next to wave goodbye to his time in Emmerdale. He’s currently not far behind Suzy, at 13/8 (33.3%).
James explained: “He is planning to pop the question to Chas Dingle. And it would be a fitting, yet tragic, end for the character to die on Valentine’s Day of all days.”
This also lines up with another fan theory, suggesting the flash-forward of Cain emotional at a grave was actually because he lost his friendship with Liam. And as there has been so much attention on Jacob’s medical training, could he be set to be the new doctor?
So exactly who will die in the ice stunt remains to be seen, but it’s definitely not looking good for Leyla and Suzy.

Lives will be lost in Emmerdale following the big limo crash and fans think sisters Vanessa and Tracy will be two of the victims.
Friday’s episode (February 14) will see a big stunt involving two limousines and a frozen lake, while next week we see the aftermath.
While it hasn’t been confirmed which of the two limos ends up in the frozen lake, fans are predicting that the girls will be most in danger – most notably sisters Vanessa and Tracy.
Will Tracy die in the limo crash? (Credit: ITV)
Vanessa and Tracy in Emmerdale
Tracy and Vanessa didn’t discover they were half-sisters until 2016 when they bumped into one another at their dad Frank Clayton‘s hospital bedside.
Although they initially struggled with the news, they soon reconnected and formed a strong relationship. Tracy was also a big support following Vanessa’s cancer diagnosis.
Vanessa was previously engaged to Charity Dingle, but that ended after she discovered Charity had kissed Mack. Vanessa is now in a relationship with Suzy – though fans have been calling for Suzy to reunite with Mary.
Tracy, meanwhile, embarked on an affair with Caleb Miligan last year. This caused the breakdown of her marriage to Nate. He eventually left for Shetland (or, did he?), leaving Tracy to raise Frankie alone.

Will Vanessa and Tracy die in limo crash?
Fans believe Emmerdale has been dropping clues over which characters will die in the big limo crash.
One thing fans picked up on was Amy Barton’s bond with Frankie Robinson and her desire to adopt a child. Fans believe this was foreshadowing Tracy’s death and that Amy and Matty will adopt Frankie.
“I’m starting to think it could be Tracy because of how much Amy and Matty are bonding with Frankie,” wrote one fan on X.
“I’m really starting to think Tracy could die,” said a second fan, with a third asking: “Does anyone else think there could be something in Amy bonding with Frankie and the limo stunt coming up? Could Tracy be killed off and maybe Amy and Matty adopt/take care of Frankie?”
Meanwhile, fans also think Vanessa could be in danger. Earlier in the week, Mary looked at Suzy longingly. Fans believe that she’ll get her woman when Vanessa is killed off.
“Emmerdale remembering that Suzy exists in the lead up to this limo crash suggests either a) she’s a goner or b) Vanessa’s toast and they’re setting us up for a Suzy/Mary relationship down the road,” wrote one viewer.Â
A second fan said: “So guys what if Vanessa actually does die? Then Charity steps up and takes on bringing up Johnny because she did adopt him.” While another viewer couldn’t cope with the rumours and added: “People saying Vanessa might die is tipping me over the edge.”

An Emmerdale death is looming, as the show’s highly-anticipated ice stunt takes place. And now fans fear they know exactly who will die.
Ever since Vanessa Woodfield and Charity Dingle broke up, fans have been desperate for their adored Vanity to find their way back together again.
But as time goes on, a reunion is seeming less and less likely. And now that fans are convinced Vanessa will die, all hope seems to be completely gone.

What do we know about the ice stunt?
Emmerdale has been teasing their ice stunt for a while. And we know that someone is going to die – and a lot of reports suggest this is Roxy Shahidi’s exit storyline.Â
But other fans seem to think that would be too obvious for the show, and are expecting someone else to say goodbye to the village. And unfortunately, Vanessa is a huge theory.
There will be two limos – one for the boys, one for the girls – heading on a big night out. And quite a lot of the villagers are there, giving us a lot of potential victims.
When no drivers appear, Charity and Caleb decide to take on the roles. But things take a dark turn when both limos get into separate accidents. And one of them ends up on a frozen lake – but which one?
At the beginning of 2025, the ITV soap gave us numerous flashforwards of things to come this year. And we saw an ominous hand banging on ice to get out.
So it looks like we’re about to see exactly who that was. And who dies.
The couple became a huge fan-favourite on the show very quickly. And as the years have gone by, that has not changed at all. Despite not having much interaction with each other anymore, fans cling to any tiny scenes they get.
But a new fan theory on X pointed out that Vanessa’s death looks like it is sealed.
They wrote: “So guys, what if Vanessa actually does die. And then Charity steps up and takes on raising Johnny because she did adopt him at one point?”
Charity adopted Johnny when she and Vanessa were together, and Vanessa was going through her cancer treatment.
The heartbreaking fan theory did not go down well with Vanity fans, who are terrified of losing all possibilities of a reunion.
One commented: “Can we all please stop saying Vanessa is going to die. I can’t watch that.”
Vanessa’s death would open up numerous different story arcs for many villagers. Charity would find herself not only grieving someone she loved so much, but also facing reality that she was the one driving the limo.
Then Suzy would be grieving her girlfriend – would Mary use that to get closer to her? And on top of all the trauma that has hit Rhona recently, she would be saying goodbye to her best friend.
So could the Emmerdale death be this heartbreaking for everyone? We hope not!

Emmerdale may have hinted at Leyla Harding’s death as the character tempted fate ahead of the big limo crash.Â
Upcoming scenes will see a big stunt on screen as two limos containing numerous villagers are involved in separate crashes.

Upcoming Emmerdale limo crash
Scenes this week will see many of the villagers head on a night out in a limo – one limo for the girls and one for the boys.
However, they’re surprised to find the limos don’t come with drivers. So Charity Dingle and Caleb Miligan take one for the team and drive the vehicles.
As the organiser, Leyla will of course be in attendance alongside the likes of Suzy, Kerry, Amy, Suzy and Tracy.
Both limos will later be involved in separate crashes, with one ending up in an icy lake. It has also been confirmed that not everyone will survive…

Leyla tempts fate in Emmerdale
During Wednesday’s episode of Emmerdale (February 12), while speaking to Jacob and Suzy in the shop, Leyla defended Jacob’s accusation that a limo ride was ‘a bit naff.’
“It’s still the height of romantic sophistication,” she insisted. Leyla added that she had to go for the ride too in order to make sure it runs smoothly as she is the organiser.
She then claimed she hadn’t been out in months, before saying: “I am getting in that limo if it kills me.” Could this be a clue about her impending exit?
Last year, The Sun reported that Roxy Shahidi would be leaving the role of Leyla after 16 years. A source told the publication: “She is really excited about her meaty exit storyline, which will see her character Leyla die on screen. She’d rather go out in a blaze of glory and be remembered.”

Emmerdale fans are nothing if not perceptive and it’s not very often they can be fooled, so while we try to figure out who dies in the limo lake stunt later this week, many of them are sure they’ve already worked it all out.
In fact despite many clues pointing to many different people, there’s only one person in their mind as to who will die.

Who dies in the limo lake stunt in Emmerdale?
An exclusive poll run by Emmerdale Insider reveals a whopping 63 percent of viewers are sure Leyla Harding will die.
She’s followed at quite some distance by Caleb Miligan on 4 percent and Chas Dingle on 3 percent.
So who’s worked it out correctly?
Are Leyla’s days numbered? (Credit: ITV)
Leyla’s last days
Waaaay back in 2024, it was reported Roxy Shahidi was leaving Emmerdale and that she would die in the ice stunt. This was before Emmerdale had even confirmed there was going to be an ice stunt!
The news came from The Sun, who reported an insider saying that bosses ‘want viewers to have their hearts in their mouths’ as the car slams into the lake.
They added: “It’s a nightmare scenario and everything was done to make sure this was a scene with real impact. Hours were spent creating a layer of ice. Then the actors spent hours out on the frozen field in the pitch black trying to do the storyline justice.”
On Friday (February 14) the girls and boys of Emmerdale go for separate nights out in separate limos. But while both vehicles crash, one ends up on the ice, sinking under. As we don’t know which limo it is, Leyla may or may not be in danger.
Caleb has got revenge on mind over his brother Cain (Credit: ITV)
Is Will Ash leaving Emmerdale as Caleb Miligan?
The other popular theory is that Caleb Miligan is set to meet his maker. In the promo trailer for the limo lake stunt a hand is seen desperately bashing on the ice. It is almost certainly a man’s hand – and wearing a wedding ring.
Coupled with that, in one of the New Year flashforwards, Caleb was seen flatlining on an operating table, and Cain was seen sobbing by a graveside. It all adds up!
William Ash, who plays Caleb, is also departing Emmerdale to film a new movie alongside co-star Amy Walsh. It has been written by Amy’s husband and former EastEnders villain Toby-Alexander Smith.
However no announcement has been made that Will is leaving Emmerdale. It is thought he is just taking a break.
